Room was filthy (chewing gum stuck on the window, dining table hadn’t been cleaned, hair in the bathroom). It was missing equipment (no chopping board in the kitchen, no mop to clean up when the shower flooded the wet room floor after every shower).

Check in staff were very friendly but the state of the room left a lot to be desired.

Comfortable beds, large living room space and ample dishes in the kitchen. A small leak in our shower but nothing terrible. Water pressure and temperature were good. We used the laundry facilities as well which were easy to use.

Even though it was on a busy street it was quiet. It’s a very basic hotel that doesn’t even have air conditioning. Luckily being on the ninth floor we had a nice breeze to keep our room cool. Overall, it was clean but worn the price was reasonable

Great location by the river, cafes, cathedral and 33km cycle route.

The hotel was shabby in the hallway with bags of dirty linen left all day and overnight. The lifts strongly smelt of cheap deodorant.

But, once in the room it was like a different hotel. Light, spacious, great view of the cathedral and river. Excellent kitchenette which is a bonus, nice bathroom and lots of little reminders to be eco friendly.

We'd highly recommend if you're happy to walk through the neglected entrance and hallways.

The room was fine but absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke. It was disgusting enough to cause nausea and supposed to be a non smoking hotel. Staff did not help, could not move us and just provided an air freshener. Had to stay with windows open. Zero compensation offered by hotels or the venue.

Plenty of e-mails about my visit but once I turned up couldn’t get to reception as it’s a locked door and no way to contact reception on 1st floor as phone number didn’t work and no instructions in English to ring the bell. Had to wait to be let in by someone else.
Smell on the floor but the room itself was clean. Pillows were very soft and aircon in room would be ideal. Breakfast was expensive for what was provided. Very noisy in room

Double beds are faked advertised

The apparthotel is fake advertising double beds. They do not have double beds available in the entire building. What they have are 2 single beds one next to each other with drapes for a double bed over the 2 mattresses. Apparently there is a zipper that has to bring them together, however the distance between the mattress is al least 3 cm (1.5 inches) imagine your back pain!!!! I asked the manager to home me something to put on top like that I won’t feel it his answer was right way. And he was gone and me I didn’t had anything even if I stayed there for 1 week. If you are looking for a single bed is ok but if you want a double bed look for a different hotel.

Fun in Amiens under exceptional circumstances

Great amenities. The kitchen and implements provided were excellent for a cooked meal due to covid-19. Dishwasher was great as no washing up required. A kettle would have been great.

When arrived had to telephone to get in, the lady although nice couldn’t speak English and couldn’t find my reservation after half hour of waiting outside late at night with two small children finally managed to get in and got the key card from drop safe as property is completely not staffed yet wasn’t told how to open the door once inside was hit by thee most vile smell of excrement and drains literally took our breath away and had leave door open to air out. Again had to ring and was told nothing she could do and would have speak to someone tomorrow I rang back saying I really can’t stay here and was eventually offered a room but didn’t have enough beds so had to stay in the original room as was now past 1am and if couldn’t be any worse there was not a double bed as booked to singles and a sofa meaning we couldn’t sleep how we would like to as one child is only three months old. Can not say how disgusted I am with this absaloute rip off complete scam

To get an apartment with good amounts of space for the price of a budget hotel in the same vicinity was a real plus, and to find that it was very new and therefore immaculate was better still. A little disappointing not to have been made aware of the fact that there were significant roadworks going on in the immediate vicinity and hence the inherent parking difficulties of this location (also not made clear) were exacerbated. That said, staff were very helpful with advice on times for free street parking, locus for large local pay car parks, etc, and if you were out between 0900 and 1900 it was generally possible to find a space on the street (free of charge) overnight. The biggest issue was finding somewhere to park for booking in and luggage transfer.
The only other issue was that it seems a little incongruous for an apartment not to have a single chair in which to relax: there were a couple of kitchen chairs but no comfortable chair in the living/bedroom despite there being ample space. But for this it would merit 9/10 (not 10 because of the transport/access), however it fully merits 8/10 at the price. I'd definitely stay there again.

The room was grey and dreary with not even broke up with any pictures. The cutlery provided was mismatched and wasn’t even enough basics for the 3 of us. The bathroom floor tiles were dirty and covered in calcite. No housekeeping ie clean towels for 3 nights. Couldn’t have done anything about the works on the road and pavement outside but advance notice would have been a nice courtesy

The reception is on the 1st floor, but you must get through the ground floor entrance which requires a password that you get from the reception...catch 22! After waiting for someone to arrive or leave to get us in it was then fine.
The appartments are spacious but sparsely furnished. On the plus side we were on the 10th floor with great views. Plenty hot water and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed for one night, following an earlier stay. This room was the smallest of all of the apartments, and had a couple of broken tiles in the kitchen. The bed was very hard and only one pillow per guest, with no available spares. The room also had very limited and slow WiFi.
The location is perfect for a stay in Amiens with everything being in good walking distance.
There is a kitchen in the room which allows for basic stovetop cooking, and with a supermarket just at the station, it was nice to eat a few meals ‘in’.
Unless breakfast is automatically included I would not recommend the €8.50 breakfast.

Good sized room with a decent amount of space. Breakfast was also quite nice. Good central location with easy walk to riverside restaurants and nearby cathedral. As this was an apartment you also had options to cook for yourself and a fridge. Didn’t need it for one night but you could definitely stay here Buckey for a couple of days and cater for yourself. Overall pretty good.

The hotel looked OK from outside, but very old on inside.
Needed painting, needed new carpet, security lights on our floor didn’t work properly so it was so dark finding our room at end of long hallway. We looked out to a noisey building & had to keep our window closed, which made the room hot - no air conditioner either in mid summer!
There was a dirty used towel on the bathroom floor!! Disgusting!
The shower floor was badly cracked! and had no door!
The bed was like a futon and not placed conveniently in room.

Perfect place in Amiens

Great hotel. Like all hotels in Europe it had its quirks. Stayed there for 4 days but had no room service at all in that time. This was the only downside to this hotel. You had to ask at the front desk every day for more toilet paper because there was absolutely no room service. Also nowhere to hang any clothes, no wardrobe or hangers. As long as you don’t mind literally living out of your bag, it’s not an issue. Otherwise, top hotel, wonderful location very close to the station, main downtown area and shopping, and right on the Somme River. Lovely for walks along the river and the riverside restaurants. Very clean and comfortable and lovely helpful staff - they even gave us a staff parking spot around back for our rental car so we could keep it close, at no charge. Breakfast was also very good and very reasonably priced if not included in your room rate.

This was my second stay at this apartment building, and I would definitely stay again.
Each studio has twin beds or a double, a tv, fridge, microwave and twin ring hob. The bathroom is clean, and functional, plenty of hot water.
It is immediately across the road from the river, and within 5 minutes walk of restaurants, bars and the tourist boat rides.
The train station is about 7 minutes walk, along the same stretch of road.
Whilst there is no car park at the hotel, there is street parking, which is free at the weekend, until 1.30pm on a Monday.

Unique apartment hotel was easy to find and close to Cathedral and river. Liked having fridge, stove and microwave so did not pay to have breakfast. Some of guests appeared to be construction workers living there for longer terms. As we were there on a weekend, we did not have to pay for parking on the street. Reception is on 1st floor and card or code is required after hours. Supermarket is a block away.

It was very difficult to locate because the main street and the the street where the hotel are located are so close together, the GPS has trouble guiding you in. The room itself is a small suite with a tiny kitchenette but there were no supplies. No coffee (there was a coffee machine), no shampoo or conditioner, no facecloths (which seems common in Europe). However the location was fantastic. Beautiful canals, shops, restaurants, outdoor patios and bars are all very close. And no parking. You have to find parking on the street. Only 2 small pillows on the bed.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the center a few blocks from the cathedral. And the staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a full size fridge and a decent kitchenette. Unfortunately, the carpets were disgusting, stained and ripped. For 4 people we had two very skinny single beds and a pull out couch. Other than being very very small, the twin beds were ok. The pull out couch however felt like it could collapse at any moment. It made horrific noises when anyone was on it. We ended up having to change rooms because the first room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke.

A few kitchen items missing and we never did work out how to use the microwave for toast!reception staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast had improved significantly since our stay last year. The location was very convenient for us although the traffic noise was a minus. Not too bad as we were on floor 7 but our friends on floor 2 found it pretty awful.

Great Apartment, Convenient Locaiton, worth it!!!

This self service apartment I thought was fantastic. With your own kitchen you can save on cost. It is located right near Amiens train station which allows you to see the major sites of World War 1. Amiens is a small but beautiful town.

The staff at reception were pleasant and nice. The internet speed and connection (ethernet broadband) is excellent!

Overall a clean, cheap and ideal location for all site seeing of major WW1 battles and Amiens Cathedral

More like student accommodation than an apartment complex you'd probably have a better stay in a backpacker's hostel.
Staff were abrupt and rude not even bothering with any form of civilities upon welcome and just went straight into telling us all of the additional costs we would have for our stay which we had to pay upfront.
Room was in poor condition with stains on the tiles in the shower, some large marks on the carpet, bathroom mirror chipped in several places and the room was looking tired in general.
We didn't have any towels in our room and upon informing reception we were met with surprise and just about had to beg for some. We were then initially provided with 2 towels because that's the normal room allocation. The room sleeps 4 and was booked for 4 so I am still at a loss to understand why we then had to push to receive an extra 2 towels.
We paid the additional €2 per night for wifi access in our room and yet it didn't work. I was once again met with contempt when I queried it. After much discussion I was provided with a modem to connect directly and yet this still did not work. As I was returning the modem other guests were complaining about the same issue. This was not rectified during our stay and upon reading reviews on other websites it seems this is a normal occurrence.
We paid for the hot breakfast only to discover there were not hot options available. We had to push once again to have the additional expense refunded.

Ripped Off!

Our pre-paid week's accommodation at this place, booked through and guaranteed by Venere, was cancelled a few hours before our arrival. As compensation, we were dumped in a budget hotel in an industrial zone 40 km away. Our Amiens holiday was ruined and we were considerably out of pocket. There is much else I could say, but we have learned our lesson: never book accommodation through on-line merchants like Venere.

Great location.

It was a great location in heart of Amiens near beautiful Somme river. Walking distance from Train Station. It was very close to bars and restaurants along the river. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would stay there again if I came back to Amiens.
