Very nice entry and commons space. Our room was also nice and clean. The headboard leather was ripped, which was unappealing. The pillows weren’t very comfortable. The bathroom was nice though! The employees were all kind and helpful also. breakfast was actually really great! Would stay again!

For a $200 a night hotel the room was lacking.Was missing light bulb in lamp. No disposable drinking glasses. Only 1 coffee cup. No paper and pens. The body products in bathroom had not been checked as the body wash was completely empty. Very disappointing stay.

The room needed a deep clean, mostly areas like the baseboards in the bathroom / tile grout ext.

The breakfast was not good, really limited options if you are at all health conscious.

There seemed to only be one person working in the hotel the entire time we were there. So we couldn't even have more towels brought to the room because we were told the front desk couldn't be left unattended.

Beds were average, glad to only be sleeping on them for two nights.

The mirror light in the bathroom was really great for getting ready.

The whole hotel smelled like spicy food that the staff had cooking in a break room all day. We could smell the food all the way on the fourth floor. The hotel needs a good cleaning as well. The shower had mold on the tub and the shower curtain. We didn’t have room service so we had to get extra towels for our second day. Probably wouldn’t stay there again due to the smell and cleanliness of the facility.

For the value, the hotel was good. Our room was dirty. Hotel staff were often not available and/or at the front desk. Intended to tell staff that our room was dirty, but no one was at the desk at checkout. We had a lamp that didn't work. The dresser was sticky, and the floors were in washed and I vacuumed. My son trip and got someone else's hair all over him 😝 At 2:00 AM, the people next to us were arguing. It was muffled but the sound was coming right under the doors. The place appeared to be under construction. The breakfast area behind the bar was unclean as well.

It started in the lobby. You’re first greeted by the scent of weed the moment you walk through the doors (smelled that way throughout the entire 3 day 2 night stay). The bed sheets in our room had urine stains, the bath tub had a brown ring around it, and I found a cigarette butt next to the bed. The fresh towels were also stained with dirt. Overall, not a great stay. Will definitely be looking elsewhere next time.

They did a good job. My room was completely out of towels - as they forgot to put them in after cleaning the night before. A seed shell was left in the drawer next to bed (how does a seed shell even get in there?). A pair of socks were left in the closet - they were teenage mutant ninja turtle socks - they were dirty and had hokes in the heel of boyh socks - so I threw them away.
I enjoyed my stay - bed was comfortable and hottub was hot!

There were people smoking marijuana in the hotel on the 3rd floor and it smelled horrible.
The mgmt team did attempt to address, but they indicated that they could not tell who did it.
Made us feel very unsafe and very disappointed that they would let this occur in their hotel.

For a newish building, it is quite run down. This may be a result of poor cleaning. We saw two rooms. Neither was properly cleaned and both showed extensive wear (ie padded foam headboard flaking vinyl everywhere), stained curtains and chairs along with dirty showers and sinks. Stains everywhere. Sticky bathroom floors and the toilet seat was worn, flaking and delaminating. Cleaning and maintenance staff seem to be failing.

Frustrating follow up

Staff refuses to get me an Invoice so I can get reimbursed. They claim only \"Expedia\" has the Invoice, I booked through hotels.com and chose to \"pay at property\" so my credit card was charged by the hotel but apparently getting an invoice is impossible. The room was nice the breakfast area was quite dirty and crammed, we were stuck immediately beside the garbage and had people climbing over us to throw their waste away.

The room was clean. Some in the building made noise 24/7. The breakfast was mediocre and the coffee at 6:15 in the morning was lukewarm at best and tasted burnt. I mentioned it to one of the staff and waited 20 minutes but no new coffee was made. I won't be staying here again.

I used the online app and \"pre-checked\" in the day before, upon arriving the staff at the desk I informed the staff of that, he didnt ask for an ID or my confirmation #, just my last name, gave me one key/card and told me the room #. When we went to that room, I used the key card, only to find it was already occupied (lights were on and belongings inside). We returned to the front desk and the staff then tried telling me that I had \"already checked in to my room hours earlier\", to which I argued that I had used the online check in the day before, but had not physically been on the premises until then. This \"debate\" went on, even after I made him finally look at my ID. He finally apologized and gave me 2 keys for a different room. I am very glad I did not encounter someone in the first room or this situation would have been even worse.

We had to ask for everything…we had 4 people registered…needed towels daily. Had to go and get out own. The staff were nice but they need more people who speak English. Hard to converse with them. They had breakfast but was the same thing every day. They didn’t clean our bathroom even though we asked. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Having stayed at this hotel many times previously we were rather disappointed on the condition of the hotel and the service. We stayed for 6 nights and had to ask for service 3 days in. Even then they did minimal service, only replacing the towels and emptying the garbage cans. Sheets did not get replaced, not even the beds got made up. The breakfast has gone downhill also. With the amount of hotels in Bismarck we will have other options to choose from since we will not return to the Wingate.

The lobby is great. Very welcoming. Elevators quick. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was good.
Our room was disappointing for our Wingate standards. No drain plug for the tub, phone didn't work (later replaced), curtains were torn, screen was ripped, windows were weathered with a film. The TV was also to small for the room.We made arrangements to stay 3 nights and our room keys didn't let us in the room after the first night. Had to get recarded. Smelled like smoke in the hallway. I even asked to have non-smoking cleaning staff do our rooms and was told all cleaning staff were non-smokers. I can appreciate that. Our experience was not the positive experience that we have had at other Wingate hotels. Staff was good.

Hotel is dated. Exercise room is terrible and should be closed given its current condition. Both Expedia and the hotel billed me for the room. Expedia’s charge is $149.95 and Wyndham has billed me $112.47. Their invoice is lacking detail where the charge is not itemized showing the room charge, taxes and any other fees. I will be very reluctant to use Expedia or book a Wyndham franchise in the future.

This hotel had decent reviews but I cannot think of a decent thing to say. Our room was flithy dirty! Garbage on the floor!! The rooms are very run down. Our lampshades we disgusting! The noise and crazy things going on in the hall were ridiculous. Looks like people live there and not just stay there. Was tempted to pack up and leave! The hallways were dirty and full of popcorn. No one was ever at the desk and the phone rang off the hook!

Was awful it smelt like raw sewage. They did not have wash clothes they were on back order furniture the only furniture a small love seat in a king suit was dirty only one lamp I was very disappointed the only thing that was good was the front desk person he was very polite and professional. Hotel was AWEFUL dirty and the smell was the worst. Had to go get spray from Walmart to try to cover the smell that did not work, not to mention the flag that was flying was in several ripped pieces. What a shame. Then my daughter left things behind so we called rite away asking someone to put these things away and we would be back to get them and we did and they're was nothing when we went back to collect the items left in the room. I brought my concerns to the front desk attendant and was not even offered any kind of compensation would not recommend staying here. It used to be a nice clean place.

Room spacious and clean, Beds Great. TV pretty small for quality of this Hotel but the thing that was not even close to acceptable was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't only poor, it was a trickle at best!!!!! How does one adequately clean up before a doctors appointment? Absolutely ruined the stay. I mentioned at the checkout desk politely and got a mediocre \"Sorry about that!\" NOT SORRY! DO SOMETHING about it! Goodness you would think a Hotel of this reputation and fairly substantial price would afford a decent shower> The handicap bathroom was perfectly set up for severe handicap people but how disappointing to not be able to shower !!!! Please spend a little income and get some water pressure. Showers are equally important to me as is a good bed. I sure hope they do something but I suppose it will get brushed away and continue as usual. I'm sorry to say I will not return to this Hotel unless I get a better answer than \"Sorry about that!\"
