We were supposed to get a continental breakfast with Expedia room reservation , and the hotel gave us a difficult time receiving this. Several employees on site gave my 85yr old companion a hard time, so much so, that we decided to just forget it. We were just turned off, after that.

I paid extra for the continental breakfast and there wasn't any. Sad! The hotel was very clean and the customer service at the front desk was amazing!

Love the outdoor sitting area

This was my 2nd time staying here. The service is excellent, both at the front desk and at the Bistro. It’s nice to get a cocktail in the evening, and sip it outside around the fire pit. The food is also very good, both for dinner and breakfast. Everything is clean and in good repair. There is an indoor pool and a gym, though I haven’t personally used either.

We stayed here for an event at Shippensburg University. It was convenient to be able to walk over to the event from the hotel. The hotel was in good condition. We only stayed one night and did not take advantage of the restaurant/buffet.

We stayed here for graduation because it was convenient. The lobby, outdoor area, limited dining area was beautiful. The room seemed to be cleaned, however, our pillow cases had yellow stains, some dirt in the sheets, very dusty nightstand with body hair-light above full of dust, but wait…coffee pot full of powdery dust and mold. Only other coffee option was to purchase in the bistro area. We complained to front desk at night and was given 2 complimentary passes for breakfast…there were 3 of us. We were able to get pillow cases from house keeping. In the am, we woke up smelling like sewage from the bedding! Complained to front desk when checking out and all we received was “oh I am so sorry”! Thank god there is no need to stay there again. Our other family rooms seemed ok, except for the same coffee pot issues. For a conference center next to a university, this was terrible.

The rugs definitely need to be cleaned or changed

Our day was very nice except there was a overpowering smell of dog feces throughout the whole second floor whenever we opened our door or had to go to the elevator for the entire stay you could smell it it was disgusting I don’t know if that’s normal or if they’re just maybe be in the middle of redoing the carpeting but it was awful

Great place, small inconveniences

Overall had a really great time. A little confusion about the breakfast, more expensive and less quality than going to Starbucks honestly. The only other thing was we had asked for a late check out, then our keys got shut off at least an hour before we were to check out. Luckily my wife was still in the room to let me in and we were packing out.

The property is very nice. It was the second time staying there. We ate dinner and breakfast in the Bistro. We were very disappointed. My sisters salad bowl was dirty as was her glass. The food was not good either. We ordered the pull pork sandwich as we did on our first time we were there. It was very good on our first visit, but no good this time. The breakfast was not good either.

i requested a refund or transfer 5days in advance due to a family emergency and was told no. i spent 300.00 for nothing. i also had purchased the trip insurance and was told that didnt count towards the non refundable amount. so why did i need the trip insurance if i couldnt use it. this is the 2nd time marriott refused me a refund. the last time i booked the wrong date and just wanted to swap dates.

Across from the university, so during homecoming the parking lot got taken over this weekend. Hard to find a space if you went out. Room was quiet, but rather small compared to other places we’ve stayed. Bistro on premises which was good option considering the parking. But very restrictive on outside food drinks in common areas was concerned to have my water with me. Ok stay.

The room had pubic hair on sink. The bathroom was black when we wiped it. The carpet was dirty and found food under the desk. The customer service on sat was awful at front desk and kitchen. Ladies were rude and told us kitchen had lunch but an hour found out lunch was not served. Will never stay at that hotel again.

My husband and I booked a room with 2 Queen beds, which we normally do. One bed to sleep, one to put our travel bags/suitcase on. We were amazed when we opened the door! The room not only had 2 Queen beds, but also a couch, chair, and desk. Very comfy after our 580 mile drive today.

We stay in a lot of hotels that are similar for travel sports, and this was by far the best experience of them all. The air-conditioning was quiet and working, the pillows and bed were comfortable. The bathroom was updated with ample counter space. The bed was comfortable. Oh- well, I'd have to say the bistro on Fri. A.M. was magical. First of all, a professional named Samaya serving us who was so expert that I don't think I'll find another breakfast spot as wonderful as this. Another server and the manager of the bistro was there, too. We talked about the huge blueberries in the steel cut oatmeal, the perfect amount of mocha in the coffee, the presentation of the strawberries, and french toast, and even the beauty of the view out all the windows; a view that was stunning. The check- in folks were lovely as well. This may have been my favorite hotel, oh - I jumped in the pool and then the hot tub, too. I may have just experienced therapy that I needed! Thank you, Samaya, and all of you beautiful people!

The hotel, for as short as a stay as it was, could not have been better. We were able to check in way in advance. Room was immaculate. Amenities were great. This is the first time staying in a hotel where the molding around the bathtub was falling off and moldy and the hot tub actually worked. It seems as if a major renovation or makeover just occurred but it was perfect. There was good eateries in downtown Shippensburg only a short couple minutes drive. The only thing I didn’t like was the time it took for the door to our room to close. I didn’t just want to walk away fearing seeing that someone may see the door still closing and take a chance a go inside when we’re not looking. I imagined it was probably new hydraulic hardware put on the door. Anyway, great stay. Wish it could’ve been longer.
