There are various levels of luxury and expense for hotels. This place was very affordable, and understanding that, I got what I paid for. It was comfortable, clean enough. Most importantly, the staff was very helpful and patient adjusting my reservation on the fly since Expedia had for some reason not updated it or communicated the change to the motel.

This was by far the worst hotel experience. The customer service was horrible, the room had a few roaches where I had to kill and clean up. The floors were dirty and my room card kept getting deactivated. It was a horrible experience and will never stay here again.

Details are important, so lets deal with that first. I didn't see any garden oasis. But I did see some kind of vegetative growth, behind a picket fence, but I don't know what it was. No Continental breakfast was offered, but I saw an empty space where it was offered in the past, and I didn't see any onsite fitness center, but there may have been one in the past. Yes, there is free WiFi, but the coverage was very spotty with constant buffering and latency. The room I chose said there was a mountain view. I assumed it was something more picturesque. It is actually some miles away. It basically means your room is in the back of the motel, away from the road. Which is a good thing. The motel is right off the highway, away from things, so there's not much around. There is a nice flea market right behind, and about 2 miles down the same road, the Red Rooster Pizzeria, which has awesome cheesesteaks. When I first pulled up, there were no cars in front and I thought it was no longer in business, but it is, and cars showed up later. It is an old motel, needs some TLC, but my room was pretty clean and smelled just fine. A major complaint- the 9 watt LCD bulb prevented me from being able to read and write, so I couldn't work. The TV is small, and for some reason the picture is much smaller. Make no mistake, This is a no-frills, bare-bones place to stay, and at least in October it was a quiet place. But, I was satisfied, and I would come back. I actually ended up staying an extra night.

Good for a night or two.

This place is great if you need just a night or two in town, while not the prettiest of places I’ve never had an issue with bugs or anything like that. And it’s the cheapest place around. You get what you pay for. I find the staff friendly and have never had any types of problems with them.

When I checked in I asked that no maid service
They would smile at you and say O.K.
In the room the bed covers were stained and felt gressey.
There was no smoke detector in the room.
I found mine in a drawer with no battery.
When I took a shower it felt as if there was no support under the tub and there was black mold on the shower curtain.
The toilet was sooo small.
Every day I asked for no maid service and every day they came into my room
The last day they my dirty towels and never replaced them.
The directions they gave me to this music event was so far out of my way.

We were only there for one night, just to sleep. The person at the front desk was very nice and friendly, but they need a new cleaning person. The walls and carpet were filthy. There were very few outlets and only half of those works. No tissues in the tissue holder. We requested non-smoking, but could smell smoke in the room. But we were in and out. Just won't stay there again.

First of sll there was nobidy in the office
When they finally came back check in toik forever.
Our non smoking room smells of cigarettes and nicotine was running down the walls. The toilet was leaking on the floor and non stop running and bathroom fan wouldnt stop banging in ceiling.
Dirty bedding and dirty napkins left on counter. Broken outlets
The list goes on..I even took pictures how disappointing we rented this place after reading good reviews
I wound not recommend this hotel.

The room is what can be expected in a low budget hotel built to service interstate traffic only looking for a bed to sleep in. The hotel staff was bothered by our presence when we checked in, and barely acknowledge us as we let them know we were checking out. As other reviewers mentioned, you get what you pay for.

The room was destroyed. Door and walls were colored on. Floor had blood stain.
My boyfriend went for coffee you told him no, its only for mornings.

Hotel was easily accessible from the highway and just a short ride down the road to a variety of eateries and other amenities. However, the room was heavily smoke laden, furniture was broken and the bathroom was filthy. \"Breakfast\" in the morning was less than minimal and very low quality. I have stayed in hotels in the greater Harrisburg area at the same price point with similar convenience that meet much higher quality standards

Horrible hotel LOTS of bugs on the bed and walls!

This has been the worst hotel ever. The staff are rude, the rooms are dirty and had blood on the walls, I counted 30 bugs in our room. I requested a refund or another room the staff refused saying Expedia got money for my stay they did not. The staff would not give me another room after showing the manager all the bugs that were all over the walls and bed he said \"I'll just come and kill the bugs and then you will be okay\"horrible hotel!! Very rude

Our room was dirty. It had a mildew smell, cracks and holes in the wall, the shower hadn't been scrubbed, the couch was stained and falling apart. It was terrible. The only good thing I can say is that it was close to everything. The Walmart, laundry facilities, the interstate, and the University. It needs a lot of work. Plus the girl at the front desk, she didn't speak hardly any English. I understand it was kinda cheap to stay there, but at least keep the place clean and free of odors.

I'd give the hotel a zero rating if I could. Ecolli in the water no drinking water provided by hotel. Only notice was taped to the counter not verbal notice. almost gave that water to my pet! When asked about Ice she said she had a machine. told her is that the same water, her response was to take the sign down! OMG!!!! Never stay there again! OH and the clean sheets and towells are kept outside in rusty storage containers! with hole big enough for rats to get in.

Hated it. Im not a complainer, but....

The carpet was disgusting. So beat down and worn out. Bedspreads were old and disgusting, curtains disgusting, If you really don't care where you stay, its fine, but believe me, I hated it! Very uncomfortable staying in that room. Bed covers came off and I slept in pajamas all night long, which I never do. Disgusting.

We got our room and it stank like car urine. The fridge wouldn't close and had mold everywhere. There was a 1\" gap under the door with no seal. We turned on the heater and it blew. Thankfully we got another room and practically begging. The second room was cleaner. The fridge seal was bad and moldy as well. The heater blew in there as well but a guy came and was able to reset it. Two towels and no wash cloths. The next day we went out and room service came. Clean towels left but nothing was actually cleaned dirty towel left on bathroom floor. Makes me wonder how often the bathroom actually gets cleaned. Sheets not changed and everything itchy. Free breakfast? Same as others, toast and English muffins. Orange juice was a cross between tang and sunny d, had to throw it out. I should've taken pictures so you don't think I'm exaggerating. Woman at counter was polite but rushed you out. Would not recommend ever.

I wouldnt stay there again. Have been to other rodeway inns that were much cleaner. Wouldnt take my socks off. Ill tell u that. And im not fussy. I have stayed at lots of 60-80 dollar hotels.

Hotel is easy to get to but was vert dirty. Bed sheets and pillows were covered with black hair. When addressed to the front office the gentleman tried to get me new sheets but they didnt have any right size for the bed. Pillows are flat. Carpet and walls were dirty and have holes.

great deal on a room, quiet, & staff is friendly

The front desk guy was very helpful and informative. Very fast check in. We ended up booking a hotel because our car brokedown a few miles down the road. The front desk guy actually was looking for a cab company that would take my hisband to the airport to get a eental. The room was clean only downfall was there were quite a few stink bugs in the room. It seemed like everytime we caught one and got rid of it two more woukd appear. The beds were comfortable amd we actually coild relax after our stressful day. Very quiet and there is a truck stop 2 mins away. I woukd stay here again.
