The hot tub was luke warm at best. Normally i can only handle being in one for 10 mins tops. But i was able to sot in theirs for 2 hours. The pool water was about the same temp.
Bed was rock hard. Will not stay there again.

Our room had ladybugs flying around the room. Which was gross and annoying. Our room was directly across from the stairs and the door is heavy and slams. The hotel was filled with kids for different sport events. Which was fine, however the noise from the door slamming was continual all thru the night. This is clearly not the hotel's fault at all, but made our stay rather rough.

Our check in was fine. The room size seemed fine; but the toilet was broken when we got there, and we told the front desk about it and they did not fix it. The bathroom sink would not drain. The breakfast food was nasty and cold. The biscuits were not edible. I asked for a ground floor room and was not accommodated. I am disabled and can not walk well. I had to walk two flights of stairs to get to our room. The beds, though comfortable did not appear to be queen size. The toilet was very low and not comfortable at all.

For the most part, it was fine. There were some annoyances though. The hot tub barely had any power in its jets. The internet was wonky - when I first went to sign in, it asked for my last name and room number, but when I went to fill it in, the screen changed and asked for a passcode. I couldn't find anything that told me what the passcode was. I called downstairs three times and no one answered. I finally called tech help. Then, once I was online, it kept shutting down.

You can tell that they have been updating the property over the last few years. There were a few cosmetic fit and finish issues with missing or broken trim pieces, but the room was clean, smelled nice and more importantly, the beds were comfortable. The staff was super nice and very welcoming!

When we checked in the guy at the front desk gave us a 12pm check out time. The next day we were woken up twice by someone who just walking into a room to clean it b4 noon. Didnt even knock. Lock the security latch for sure. After they left the front desk called the room and it wasnt even noon yet.

The hotel and staff were great amd very accomidating. The 40 families with kids from Iowa soccer not so much. Very bad parenting and noisy late i to the night. Front desk tried and were very apologetic. Playing soccer in hallways and wrestling after 10 at night was craziness.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was weird and small details overlooked. Shower did not have soap holders and joined room did not have door stops or transition. The smaller room's bathroom was claustrophobic and would recommend a smaller sink for more room. Light switches were not working and one room was hot and the other freezing. No hot water in the shower and no water pressure. There was obvious maintenance issues and would not have paid the efor what we got. Breakfast was good and the best part of the stay

It was a great place to stay while we had state trap in Nekoosa. It was not to far away only 40ish minutes. The room set up was perfect for my family with 2 adults and 5 kids. The pool was warm as was the hot tub and well taken care of (minus the tile repair at the time). My children loved the included breakfast and the \"warm\" option changed throughout our three mornings we were there which was nice. The only thing I would have liked differently was a room clean during our stay as with 4 kids and 2 adults it could have used a good sweep/vacuum half way through (and when the pull out sofa was opened it had not been cleaned under in a while as it was pretty gross under there) and towels as there were only two bath towels that we began with. All in all, we will definitely be back next year. Thank you

We had to change rooms twice cause the first room had a strong pee odor on one of the beds and in the second room the AC unit wasn't working. The third room we were in still had all the food that the previous occupants left in the fridge plus the only trash bin was in the bathroom when the two previous rooms had wo trash bin, one in the bathroom and one under neath the desk, but we decided to stay in that room cause there was no pee smell and the AC unit worked. The receptionist was nice and apologized for any inconvenience.

A cold night in central Wisconsin

You have to take this into the context that it was eight degrees below zero outside. the manager had the room set at 60 when we arrived. The heating system is a heat pump and they don't work well below zero anyway, so it took a long time to even get the room to 70. The one warm thing is the staff. They did what they could to make our stay comfortable. They extra blankets made for a good nights rest, and isn't that what we come for? The breakfast was inviting, tasty and made for a good family time. We were thankful for that. Overall our stay was a 9 out of 10, and we will return

They cancelled on us less than 24 hours before our arrival because they “forgot” to tell us they are under construction. We are a family of 6 and they left us completely starting from scratch without any resources or help. Because they cancelled their entire reservations the day before, we were only able to find one room at one hotel in the entire city that was literally twice the cost on a last minute reservation. The Rodeway in staff member was rude and sarcastic, they never returned my call when I asked to speak to a manager. This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a hotel, and I have travelled a lot.

Reserved 3 months prior to stay date. Hotel called us on the reserved date while we were driving to that area to tell us there was no room as they were renovating and forgot to call us. We had to scramble for a room, paid twice the price for another place. Unable to reach hotel to discuss; manager never called us. No access to owners.

We were told that the rooms we booked in March were not available. They were remodeling some rooms and the person who was supposed to call us to cancel our rooms did not call any of the people affected.
When we drove in the police were there calming down other people that were told the same thing as us.
Your rooms have been cancelled.
“You’re out of luck”.
We ended up finding one room in Steven’s Point.
One room $650 for 2 nights.
We had to share the room with another couple who was supposed to be in the 2nd room.
Roadway Inn. Of Steven’s Point is not a place I would ever stay in the future.
I will share this story with everyone I can in the future.

The woman at the front desk was rude and uncaring.

Expedia worked for hours trying to help us.
I am very thankful and proud to be a member.

This was the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. The majority of the staff, particularly the woman who appeared in charge, were un organized and did not know what they were doing. Most of the time that we saw them they were loitering in the lobby or out smoking weed in their car which was parked in the drop off area for two days. Though they are under construction, the hallways, elevator, and rooms were not cleaned. We were initially put in a room that did have the beds made, the water to the toilet was shut off, and the door did not even latch led alone lock. We were moved to another room that was a little cleaner but again the lock did not work properly. Things such as continental breakfast, coffee, and the pool were absent or closed. If I had read the reviews on google I would have known that whomever is in charge does not and has not cared to fix any of these issues for some time.

Like easy check out in.. don't dislike.. one staff worker.. pool needed checked in as used towels were everywhere and no clean ones. Asked the frint desk as we checked in front r our bedding for the couch bed and was told bring them to us right away. Hour later I had the government back up and get it. Felt like the room had not been cleaned well or not used in a while.. dust was in the lamps and spots in the tables. Not sure if it had been vacuumed either.

Bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned. Soap dish and bathtub were dirty and someones hair all over. AC in part of the building did not work and impacted how cool the individual rooms got. Pool was also broken, again. When is breakfast coming back?
On the other hand, the gentleman at the front desk was very polite and made efforts to make our stay as comfortable as he could, and allowed us to switch our room to one with a jacuzzi tub to make up for the missed hot tub and pool. Thank you to him for doing what he could.

Found the hotel to be dated. The AC didn’t work. Luckily it wasn’t a warm summer night or else it would have been unbearable. The furniture in the room was dirty. On more than one occasion in the morning two staff members we’re taking a smoke break right in front of the entrance while the front desk was left unattended. We will not be returning.

Great large whirlpool tub for two in room

Very good large room comfortable king size bed a giant whirlpool tub for two microwave fridge. Met the new manager that taken over a couple of weeks ago and really was trying to get the place back up to speed and doing a good job.Very nice indoor hot tub and pool breakfast in the morning was your typical hotel breakfast eggs tasted like they were powdered.

The room was dark/bad lighting. Very noisy outside our window... leaf blowers etc starting early in the morning. Thin walls.. we could hear everything outside our door. Also, one of the beds was uncomfortable and every time I rolled over it made a popping noise

We did not end up staying at Comfort Suites because the pool and hot tub were closed for construction. The worker said it that the manager said that was listed on the website. It is not listed when I booked the hotel and not when we checked on Friday night. We planned to stay at the hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. We were having a weekend to relax with our college students. Yes they did have the option to go to the YMCA but that is not what we wanted to have to have lots of other people around and lots of little children. It was disappointing to have to try to find a hotel in the area that still had rooms. The worker did offer to see if they could give us a discount on the room but we decided to not stay. I hope that the information is on the website now so that more people do not have to be disappointed and have to find another place to stay.

Nice beds. Understaffed, but they pulled together to make customers happy. After I made the reservation, my Son had an accident and was using crutches. They attempted to get a handicap accessible room, but they were all booked with the busy weekend; They did change us from a room far down the hall to one next to the elevator. Need some work in the parking lot.Pool area looked inviting, but we ended up being too busy to use it. Breakfast good, nice variety and Banana nut flavored batter for waffles available.

Big Disappointment

We have stayed at this facility in the past but this time was a big disappointment.
1. Our TV didnt work (which they were aware of when they assigned the room)
2. Shower rail was broke so that neither side stayed closed while taking a shower. They changed our room for us.
3. The second room had slow water flow in the sink
4. Tub drained so slow it was like it didnt drain,
5. No bread for toast for breakfast, no orange juice or reduced fat milk on our third day there, pancake maker with no pancake mix
6. Sewer smell in the downstairs hallway
7. Staff talks openly in eating area about breakfast issues and other staff members
8. Desk staff not dressed professionally.
Room size was very good, beds were comfortable, pillows okay. No insulation in the ceiling so very easy to hear people walking around upstairs.

Nice place for the price!

We only stayed one night, but the beds were very comfortable and each bed had 4 pillows!!! the pool and hot tub were under maintenance so this was very disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked here. Also, where the free breakfast is great, the eggs were col and the OJ was watery. The rooms were clean, but somewhat scuffed up, but it was still nice. The staff was AWESOME! Very friendly and apologetic about the pool.
