Staff was ok but they were hard to understand due to her strong accent. Room was above average. The bathroom could use alittle attention as there was mold in the grout of the shower bath tub area. The sink also leaks and water trickled from the base of the pedestal sink. Free breakfast was plus and well appreciated. Ample parking and plenty of places to dine in the surrounding area.

Bathroom drywall ceiling joints were coming apart significantly, 5 dead wasps were in the bathroom light fixture. Walls were thin making it very easy to hear other guests. Room was not cleaned very well. Breakfast food was low quality. Had to pick big and small pieces of paper microwave bag out of my scrambled eggs. Microwaved eggs were not very good. Sausage was very greasy. No elevator for 3rd or 2nd floor rooms. Pricing online was 30% lower than calling the hotel directly. Staff was fine. A older Woman was in the lobby all the time watching everyone come and go. Not sure if she was family of staff or someone just loitering. Either way, it was an uncomfortable feeling. Bed was too squishy.

Generally, you get what you pay for, so I don't have an issue with the general state of the room/furniture.
My issue is that I was charged a security deposit, that was charged and pending, but was posted the next day and a week later is still present on my card. The security deposit was done on site during check-in. I tried contacting Wyndham to resolve the matter, but because I made the booking through Expedia, the Wyndham automated contact support system just kicked me off the line and hung up.

There as a cockroach found and killed in the room, the available breakfast was un-stocked and many parts were not edible (example: orange juice was completely brown). The floor in the breakfast area was so dirty it crunched when walked on. The hotel room was very dim due to lights being removed. It was very surprising since the past reviews were pretty good. Would not recommend and we will look for other accommodations next time.

Check in was provided by someone remotely via a kiosk who gave me a key card for a room that was already occupied. The front doormat was a towel taped to the floor. There was mildew on the shower curtain, we had a broken coffee machine and the battery in the smoke detector in the gym needed replacing so it beeped the entire time I was working out. Even after I notified the front desk, no one bothered to change it. You definitely do not want to stay here.

Booked a room for a cheerleading competition and the room we stayed in was less than expected!!
The bathroom was gross, black mold on the shower curtain and faucet... Dirty & dusty everywhere
The sheets and pillow cases has yellow stains in them and candy wrappers under the bed skirt like the room was extremely poorly cleaned.
Our heat was not working and the air conditioning was on, when it came to the breakfast it was cereal mini muffins and toast was not allowed to eat in our room and while we had to eat downstairs the weird creepy guy that works there sat close enough to watch everyone and constantly stared at people while they ate... No washer and drier... Nobody was ever at the desk for help with questions and concerns... They also take 100$ from you even after you pay for the room for a security deposit instead of a card on file.

My family booked a total of 4 rooms. A suite. Queen and two double beds. Check in was easy and fast. But.

Staff walking around bare foot . All through halls and behind desk. Hole in ceiling with exposed wiring. As well as exposed wiring on the door card scanner, mold in shower. I took pics. Stayed here 3 times before. Idk if its new management? But not booking again.

Room need to cleaned/replace items and fill hole in ceiling. Shower curtain looks like there is small spots od blood on it, sheets and pillow cases are more of a yellowish color not white. Bedding had some other coloring issues as well like brown spots. Round hole in ceiling with wires like they took down a light or something and never replaced/filled the hole.

Sixth time staying here, close to UWSP. Usually no problems. Used kiosk for check in, machine not working half way through and had to finish at front desk. Very poor communication and customer service. First time in first floor room. Not as nice as second floor. By early morning finally had to sleep with pillow over head because heat/ac unit so noisy, definitely needs a tune up. May need to dig a little deeper in my wallet for nicer hotel next time. Sad because of the convenience of location.

Check in is virtual through a computer at front desk, which is cool but also concerning. Woods out back are cool - littered but nice for our pet. Due to the cheap accommodations and Days inn next door, I didn’t feel as safe as I normally do with my 2 kids. (Some instances thHappy to be in and out there. No true complaints but next time I’ll spend $30 more and stay somewhere else.

Check in is weird, there’s a guy on a kiosk…he’s friendly and helpful but it’s just weird. There was a gentleman there who needed to help us with the heater in our room, he was very nice! The hotel, overall, is dated and smells a bit like a dirty ashtray. The room was clean upon first glance, but not when you really look at the details, like in the corners and it just had a general feeling of being dirty and it’s pretty beat up. I used my one key rewards for this booking, so essentially, it was free, but if it had been paid with my own money, I would have left and found a different hotel. It was fine for one night but I wouldn’t stay here again.

I was told that I was charged $50 that I did not authorize because I paid cash for the room and my deposit was waived by the supervisor after I checked out although I had my room cleaned 24 hours before I checked out I was told that I damaged a room which I did not I even actually cleaned up the room on the way checking out so everything sucks those Indians are racist and their thieves I did not damage that room I've been renting hotels with 20 years I've never damaged a room and I don't appreciate these crooks having my card information on file and I would like to complain because I've never damaged the room nothing was wrong only thing we did was went to sleep and left for 3 days I would like a correction status on my name I had a gallon of water I only removed a shelf off the refrigerator I forgot to put it back in there so I can fit my beverages in there small little refrigerator other than that I was charged $50 for nonsense and I think you people are all full of s*** respectfully

When you walk in you need to talk to a person on a kiosk who doesn't speak fluent English, and the monitor doesn't help! The staff was unfriendly, the AC did not work and the room smelled musty. I had to go to the office twice because my card would not open my door! It was a frustrating stay. Next time I'll stay next door where your greeted by smiling humans!

The first room they gave us was foul! We could smell the mildew from the hallway. They wanted to up charge us because the second room they gave us was a 2 bed rather than 1 bed room. Seriously!!?? The first room was a biohazard. The second room was better but the door had a huge gap & we could see into the hallway. The hallway & entry doors were a bit on the rundown side. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The remotes were not programmed. The clerk who came to assist was so stoned he could hardly walk. I think I could have gotten a contact high from the smell of his clothes. I don’t know what happened at check-in. The clerk had issues. I’ve received 7 check in emails - I better not receive 7 charges!

Very old and outdated. The property is ran but a kiosk! My entire name was broadcasted through the lobby of the hotel, while a guest was playing the slot machines. I was asked to sign something on the kiosk screen it didn't work. The host, said, \"oh okay, well never mind.\" Breakfast was not as advertised. The room was gross, the bathroom was not clean, there was 1 decent towel, the door didn't shut tight, every door that opened or closed ours would rattle. The fridge was frosted over, hasn't been defrosted in a very long time. TV had 3-5 working channels. There was an odd oder to the place. Upon leaving, we were monitored by 3 people, as if we had stolen something. It was very uncomfortable, will not be staying here again, would not recommend to anyone. Stevens Point must do better for a college down!

The grounds look nothing like the pictures. Very unkept outside. No jungle gym for kids, fire pit unkept, outdoor seating rusty and dirty. Lobby was newly remolded looking. Walls, doors, and hallways not very clean. Room was not too bad, other than the drywall dust under the sink that was left after repair of sorts. Beds and pillows comfortable. Lightbulbs burned out. Overall, probably wouldn't stay if there were other choices.

the kiosk check-in experience was unusual and uncomfortable. it lacked privacy for the person checking in.. I wondered where the person checking us in was located..India??? It seemed that every person prior to our check in had a new person (remotely) that was checking them in . It felt uncomfortable.

The room itself was in need of repairs. The ceiling fan was missing a blade and could not operate safely. Window shear was torn. Tub drained very slowly. Basic amenities were provided and were adequate. Breakfast was up to the standard that is expected of lodging establishments.

The property felt shabby- kind of clean (if that's a thing). One room had stains on the wall with a missing chair. The bathrooms were super tiny. This property would be OK as a quick pass thru for a night, however I'd still probably stay somewhere else.

The hotel itself was horribly dirty and disgusting. I was there for six days and they never cleaned my room once or gave me clean towels. In fact the whole time I was there, I never saw anybody clean ever. You can never find anybody that worked there except for the guy sleeping in the janitor closet. On our first day there our toilet was clogged so my husband went to find a plunger. He opened up the janitor closet, and a man was sleeping on the floor in the janitors closet. The hot breakfast is disgusting. The only thing I tried to eat from there was a waffle, but it tasted like sourdough bread.

Total dump. Weird check-in kiosk where a guy scans your ID remotely and another worker hovers over you. AC stopped working. Filthy common areas. Lousy breakfast. The refrigerator in the breakfast room shows it is set to 42 degrees, above safe range, and the milk and yogurt stored there are lukewarm. Coffee was awful. Room alarm was set to go off at 5:30am. On the plus side, it was otherwise quiet because nobody else was staying here. Would not visit again.

For the price, it wasn’t a terrible option. The rooms were small, dark, and needed a good refresh. The front desk staff, while helpful at check in, was not very welcoming otherwise. There is no common place to gather, so it’s not a good option for groups. The lobby has several slot machines instead of the couches shown in the picture (one couch is still there) so that leaves a counter height table and one chair if you’d like to do anything outside of the room. There are chairs by all the machines in the lobby, but I was told by the front desk staff that if I used them, they needed to be returned immediately if someone needed them for the slot machine. The breakfast left a lot to be desired - expired milk, sour waffle mix, bad coffee and zero options for fresh fruit. There was seating for breakfast. Overall would not return.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! My twin 10-year olds and I arrived late - well past their bed time. This place had no desk clerk but a kiosk where you see, talk, and work with some guy in India. Your key is programmed by the kiosk. We went to our room and the key did t work. I went back and (painfully) got a replacement. It didn’t work either. Neither did the third key. Finally a real person made me a key that worked. This got us in the room 45 minutes after our arrival. The facility is clean enough but ‘tired’ in many ways. For example, when I lifted the toilet cover in our room it simply fell off. There are other options within a block of this place. Use one of them. Do not stay at this hotel.

When walking down the hallway, we could hear every conversation clear as day happening in the rooms. Area around back of property run down and dirty. Front desk clerk that checked us in was remote, I didn't like that. It seemed very unprofessional and poor customer service!

It was poorly maintained, visible insect infestation,there was evidence the floors had not been cleaned,mold and mildew in the tub. No help from the night attendant who would sleep on the couch in the lobby EVERY NIGHT or would play gambling games and talk on the phone. I reserved a king-size room on the ground floor due to mobility issues from a broken back. They tried to insist I stay on the third floor with no elevator,down graded me to a queen size but didn't reduce my fees. I was terribly disappointed. This is definitely not Baymont Quality.

This place seems like it’s not really open. The rooms are completely bare of any adornment, not even cheesy pictures on the walls. Our toilet paper holder was broken, the main light was broken off leaving a bare bulb, there was only one waste basket and none by the bathroom sink.
We got in late and realized there were no cups in the room to take our medicine with so had to get dressed and run to the front desk. The whole place is very suspect. It might say Baymont but it’s apparently independently owned and just licensed by Baymont. Terrible experience.

My suite was unfinished. It was missing the jacuzzi and one of the sinks. My brother was in a completed version of the room directly across the hall. My room was 111, but there was no sign on the door telling me what room it was. Both mornings, i walked into the lobby to find the worker asleep on the couch with his shoes off.
