The bars next to the property have off some loud noise and traffic noise but overall all things were good. The problem was that our bathroom door knob was stuck which resulted in elongated waiting in the morning and the on-call maintenance person couldn’t show up nor did he have his boss his notice of not being in town. The manager did her best and provided alleviation. Overall, the facility was nice and clean, good breakfast as well.

We chose to stay at this hotel as it was near Wisconsin Rapids, where our children were participating in a baseball tournament. Melissa greeted us and got us promptly checked into our rooms. After settling in, we asked about on-site laundry services so that we could wash the very dirty white baseball pants. Although there were no guest laundry services, Melissa offered to throw our white baseball pants in the industrial washer as she was needing to wash towels and didn't have a full load. We were thrilled and proceeded to the pool, where she brought the VERY clean pants to us a short while later.

I've been here twice now and this is a super nice hotel for the price. With the last stay, I could not hear anything or anyone and was really impressed, as that is usually a big issue with hotels. This time, people were a bit louder or I was able to hear them more, but it still wasn't too bad. I've stayed at hotels all over and this is one of the nicest. I also like that they provide high quality products in the bathroom - zero parabens, zero bad ingredients, etc. But, unfortunately that skincare product is unbelievably highly fragranced (the lotion) and if you are sensitive, avoid it at all costs. I immediately washed it off, to avoid a migraine from the strong scent. And, on top of it, I had an allergic reaction on my arms where I used the lotion, though I washed it off right away and it's been a couple days. So, I hope they will look into getting that stuff unscented. I've never had a reaction to any lotions before. With that aside - I love this hotel.

I usually stay at this hotel when coming to the Stevens point area. However, this weekend the hotel was very noisy with kids running around with baseball, bats and balls in the main lobby area. Also running up and down the hallway in the upper floors. I believe there were families from a sports group staying at the hotel this weekend. Unfortunately, the adults weren’t watching the kids too well.

This property is worn out. The furniture has a lot of wear. Many spots the varnish is no longer on the desk and night stand. The carpet had old gum spots. The corners in the bathroom had dust buildup. There was also a dirty washcloth left in the shower. The pool was not available because it was broken and drained. You could still use the hot tub but watch out you might fall in the open pool. Hardly had room in the pool area. By far the smallest pool area I’ve ever seen at a Hampton Inn. The breakfast area was clean and nicely stocked. The staff in charge of the breakfast area was incredibly kind and kept the area nice. The staff at the front desk were just ok. Some staff looked like they just woke up with sweatpants and sweatshirts other staff had polos and spoke with friendly hellos. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Booked a double queen room for my husband, son and I. When we got to the room, we only had one bed. They were full, so had no other room for us. They kept blaming hotels.com, but when I commented that they had to accept the reservation from hotels.com, they agreed that they did. I asked for a discount and they declined. There were no roll aways available. They offered extra bedding so someone could sleep on the floor. We were told there would be an extra pillow in the armoire, there wasn't. The room was pre-paid, so did not want to go somewhere else and not get money back.
Also, at breakfast my husband asked if they had brown sugar for the oatmeal and the breakfast attendant told him that people could just bring their own. Hmm, not sure I would ever think to pack my own brown sugar.

Acceptable but not great for the price.

The room was quiet, clean, beds comfortable and overall a pleasing stay. The only negative instance was that of the sink stop not set correctly which resulted in the sink not being able to hold any water.
It is acknowledged that in these covid precautionary times, full hot breakfasts are restricted; but I feel that hotels (especially this one) have cut back on breakfast content whilst still charging full cost.
For my wife and I, this was a pleasant enough stay without any one outstanding feature to commend it.

Nice place to stay!

Very nice hotel. Clean and modern. Convenient location close to the interstate. Our only complaint is that the mattresses are pretty basic and not very comfortable.

Clean hotel and good service. Staff was polite. Rooms were above average. Easy parking. Wifi was disappointing. The walls were paper thin so much so that we could hear the conversation in the room next door. Above average free breakfast. Nice pool area with a hit tub. Felt the hotel did a great job with their covid protocols. Would recommend but with the wifi had been better.
