I stayed here for 6 nights. These rooms are cheap and yet you won’t get what you paid for. “Daily housekeeping” is listed on their page. Not once was my bed made or sheets changed, there was also a large tear in the blanket . The air unit in the first room I checked into was incredibly loud so I asked for maintenance to fix it or for the front desk to provide me with another room. The air unit in the second room was quiet but couldn’t produce warm air. The air unit in the third room was incredibly loud. Then they asked me to downgrade to a lesser room. After politely explaining I preferred not to I was put in a 4th room that finally had a working air unit. No apologies from the front desk worker, not a thank you for my patience. The staff was actually quite rude anytime I talked to them. I’m not expecting the royal treatment, but I am expecting hospitality and a room with functional amenities.
The mini-fridge freezes everything you put in it no matter how low you set it.
There page also claims a “top rated breakfast”. This is a lie. Every morning is the same food. Powdered eggs, small sausages, biscuits, gravy. And they are not appetizing.
There were other things that sucked but it’s a cheap room, so it’s to be expected. If all you expect is the bare minimum you will be disappointed here. If you take what they say on their page at face value you will be disappointed here.

Checked in to find a DISGUSTING room. Multiple stains on chair. Crusty stains on the bedding. Stains on carpet. Bathtub dirty.

Contacted Expedia for help. Was told the Front Desk would change us to to a new room.

That room smelled so heavy of male cologne. Requested a different room. Daughter with horrible migraines to strong odors.

Front Desk (Shannon) was rude. Telling us she hoped it met our standards.

Third room again had a strong odor of coconut. We all had instant headaches.

Decided to check out and leave since clearly it was an inconvience for Shannon to help us find a clean odorless room. She gave said management would not be in until Monday to resolve the issues.

Expedia emails me Sunday night stating hotel will not refund me the cost.

Horrible hotel. Horrible staff.

The room was clean, it was good. Although I was very disappointed that the bar was closed. That was the main and only reason why I booked the stay at this hotel. There were cheaper places to stay, but again, they had a bar.
The staffs explanation why the bar was closed was that management or owner said that if 50% of the hotel wasn't full, they would keep the bar closed. And for that reason alone, I'm giving them a 1 star. Now too me, it doesn't matter how many customers you have. A customer is a customer. Regardless if it's 1 or 100. So the few should be punished due to the lack of customers. Don't agree with this and that's where I draw the line.
I will not be back. Apparently they show there gratitude and customer service to the few, versus having a full house. I'm old school. It's the principal of it.

When we first go to our room, there was a dog barking constantly from the neighboring room. Luckily we were able to switch rooms. The room was pretty gross. Furniture worn down. Tub made extremely loud noises from standing in it. Definitely not returning.

Some how we were in a handicap room. Which was fine. But there was something on the bathroom floor. I think it may have been to add a seat to the bathtub? It had metal hook like things on it. I think that was sort of a safety hazard.

Stayed for a family function, we had 4 rooms. 1 room showed wear and tear but the other 3 were all clean and comfortable. Front desk was friendly, breakfast was okay. Pool area was nice and we enjoyed that the bar was open in the evening so we could gather and catch up.

I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was fresh. It was, I'm ready. It was hot and if it ran out of anything management was going to refill it immediately. The pool was super clean That Jacuzzi was super clean. It was a really nice experience. There was some odds and ends that were a little odd. Bye, it's their hotel, their rules just pay a close attention to the rules

From the professional check-in to the tasty breakfast, all aspects of our stay were excellent. The accessible bathroom was the highlight of the room 114. Very large, well appointed and safe. Linens were good, towels were good and the room layout was excellent. The property location is near restaurants, shopping with several malls close by. Road construction is nearby, but manageable for our stay. I would stay again, if in the area.

Very happy with this last minute stay. A busy weekend, at check in desk mentioned only two rooms available. Despite this, staff was wonderful. Saturday AM in the breakfast area tables were cleaned quickly, even taking the time to sweep a mess left by a toddler before the next family sat down. Each individual I interacted with had pride in their work - plus - a 2-for-1 Happy Hour coupon at check-in!

I booked a room for an employee. Show up Saturday check out Sunday. Prepaid. Our employee showed up 2am because they travel for work. Clerk stated he already ran his audit and so we had to pay another day. We had already paid and they collected the payment so this is improper business practices.

We appreciated the first desk clerk not so much the afternoon one. Seem very stand offis. The food was luke war at best and had hard time getting out of the bed. Would stay again. Just because of the first desk clerk.
Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Give her employee of the month at least and a raise or promotion. She absolutely deserves it.

Some kind of \"matter\" in bathtub in 2nd room.
Ice room something was coming up from floor drain, very smelly.
3rd room was fine.
Will never stay again at this hotel.
Trying to get a refund.
Desk clerk was very sorry and apologized.

The staff will tell you you can do late check out at noon, but the morning you’re checking out, they’ll tell you you can’t and you have to check out by 11. The cleaning staff will be knocking on your room door 15 minutes prior to check out asking you to check out

The room was alright if there is no other place to stay. Breakfast wasn't good. The only warm items were egg, sausage and waffles. The waffle machine was terrible at least three people used it while I was there and no one got a good waffle since it stuck to the waffle maker. The coffee maker was inside the bathroom. The rooms smelled. The tv control didn't work. The alarm clock didnt work.

Comforter was wet, and had blood stains on it. Bath tub didn't drain and had dirt build up. Bed headboard needed repairs. Chair shredded and wobbly. Bathroom floor left feet dirty.

The actual hotel was nice. The breakfast was great. The room we stayed in needed attention.

Interracial family visiting UWSP and wasn’t sure where to stay being it’s middle America and some places feel less comfortable than others. The location of this hotel was in a nice spot. More populated than other parts of Plover with places to eat and shop for necessities. with our stay.

Nice facility, large room, comfy bed. The towels were thick and fluffy. Close to the freeway, but didn't notice any noise from the traffic. Close to many restaurants and gas stations. The desk clerks were friendly and had us checked in quickly. We'll happily stay here again.

We were on the second floor and there was a really bad odor, I am sure it was in the carpet. The stairwells looked as if it never was cleaned, there was even a worse odor there. The rooms were ok however again due to having old carpet it had an awful smell. My advice is to rip that carpet up and go with wood flooring, easier to clean. The staff was super friendly.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Hotel Felt and looked very clean and well kept. Never noticed the bar opened so I can't comment on this area. The breakfast was typical and the front desk woman seemed to have to be responsible for this area also. We felt safe when walking to neighborhood restaurants and nearby brewery.
Disappointed with Hotels.com as the hotel rate dropped considerably before check-in and we tried to have our refundable rate adjusted. They refused. Will consider other websites in the future.

The staff was wonderful, breakfast not so much. Limited selection and the bananas were overripe and ready for the trash.

Older hotel that is showing its age. Our tub was stained with dark spots that need to be bleached, but not sure that will remove them at this point. Rust on door casing in the bathroom and on the toilet paper holder.

The hotel was extremely clean and very inviting. The room was very spacious and very clean, the outlet didn't work in the bathroom so unfortunately couldn't use the hairdryer but that was minor. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Didn't use the pool area but it looked nice. The bar area was very nice and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. Hopefully the road construction on the main road isn't going on too much longer, made accessibility a slight issue
