Our only complaint about the hotel (and it might not have been their fault) is that the air conditioning was turned off (late September) so the room was stuffy and we had to open windows.
Otherwise, the hotel and staff were excellent and certainly more than we expected from Mongolia.
A word of caution for travelers, due to the extreme traffic, travel to or from the airport can take 2-3 hours.

Great location, hotel staffs were approachable. The only issue I found is they talk softly that I can barely hear them. The premier restaurant however needs staffs improvement. I went for lunch sat down no one came until I ask the menu. As I observed maybe that’s the way they do business because they never approached a customers while I was there. No one came to me “how’s your meal?” Or anything just to “break the ice”. Food is great but needs to improve on staff-customers relationships. I won’t recommend the restaurant.

Great hotel at great location with great service and breakfast 6 am to 10 am. I would stay at this hotel again if I’m ever back in Ulaanbaatar. Only issue was that person or company the hotel assigned to pick me up at the airport did not show up. I had to get a taxi (which cost me half of what the hotel had quoted but the hotel needs a more responsible transportation contractor). It was frustrating after a very long flight not to be picked up as expected and having to find someone to contact hotel.

We didn’t have WiFi in room for over 36 hours. We were moved to another room but WiFi also didn’t work due to an increasing problem around the hotel. They did try to recompense us by offering 15% off at restaurant but that wasn’t what we wanted. Annoyingly TV came on and wouldn’t switch off and hotel didn’t fix. But was quiet, clean and otherwise ok.

Location is what sells this hotel. However the rooms are not maintained to what they should be given the price point. Service is okay but no one is really helping you. At breakfast all the servers and staff were busy on their phone or talking to each other. Didn't interact with a single staff! Again you stay at this hotel for location...all major attractions are in walking distance.

One of the better hotels, i was on the 23rd floor which was great except when the night there was a party on the 25th floor until 10:30PM (noisy). Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a good standard and everything youd expect. Breakfast was heavy on the meat (i am vegetarian) but overall nice.

Being in the center of Ulaanbaatar, it is both convenient and inconvenient. Anyone who has travelled to UB understands that the worst thing about the city is the traffic, and the closer you get to the center of the city the worse the traffic is. However, there are many things that you can do within walking distance so as long as you do not need to travel far, this is a nice choice. The free breakfast buffet that is included with the room is very nice.

Beautifully landscaped, beautiful modern and
Inviting rooms, bed is like heaven, sleep facing a gorgeous view, full and upmarket kitchen area. An absolute joy to stay here. Only downside is taxi rides to the city is costly and time consuming due to hotel location. Incredible breakfast buffet and ambience. Would return just to enjoy the time in this hotel. ❤️

Nice hotel. Premier lounge is terrific! Morning breakfast can be a frenzy, so pay attention to hotel advice regarding peak and non-peak times. Elevators are not synched, so they’re a very real mess, especially when tours are checking in and out.

Location was good. More xan be done with their service. We booked for triple occupancy, butcthey provided only for two. We have to constantly ask for additional provisions for the 3rd person.
It would be better if they cleaned their entrance at night, when there are less people arriving. When we arrived in the middle of the afternoon, they were watering/cleaning the driveway. Our van was not allowed to drive up to the entrance, so we had to get down along the main road.

For sure not 5 star hotel

I would not class it as a 5 start hotel. There were issues with elevators, so it always took ages to get one. Breakfast - super basic and pastries not always fresh. Two nights I had sudden weird sounds come very loud - one was the internet related, other not even sure what. It would wake you up, that’s how loud it was.

Lovely hotel, pleasant staff. Ground floor eatery 5 stars for chicken Caesar salad! And Ice! need more ice in drinks! ATM in lobby! Win! Breakfast was kinda \"meh\" but plenty of \"meh\" to choose from. The big downer is the bathtub. Giant high walled tub that is treacherous to get in and out of for showering. A walk-in shower is more suited to a 5 star hotel.

The check in and check out was not my favorite. Very hectic and I was not sure what I should be doing. Thankfully my mother is Japanese and was able to converse with the hotel staff. Extremely convenient and well located place. I wish they would have offered coffe though in our room. They only had tea even when we called and inquired.

The staff was very lovely and helpful. The view from my room was beautiful. The room was clean and fairly modern. I had no complaints about any of the facilities. The only thing, the breakfast was rather mediocre, especially for a 5 star hotel. Not having espressos (latte, etc) as well as any alternative milks (soy, oat, etc) was a pretty big thing for me.

Service Quality Needs Improvement

Have been staying at this hotel whenever I traveled to Ulaanbaatar for work. Its service has gone from bad to worst. Check-in service was slow, inefficient and wrongly deemed as early check-in when actually was a late check-in due to flight delay. At check-out, hotel wanted to charge me for \"no-show\" when actually I have paid in full including the night I missed because of flight delay for over 12 hours. This had happened before, this time again that housekeeping forgot to provide toiletries. What can I say about this hotel that I stayed there because it is located near my workplace in UB. I have provided feedback to hotel management before but obviously no improvement.

Location is fabulous, Chinggis Khaan Square is within sight. Right next to a small shopping center. The large 7 story government shopping store is within walking distance. Rooms are good but bring your own coffee packets - only tea available. Restaurant is good. Would stay here again

In the world’s most polluted capital, it’s unconscionable that a hotel wouldn’t have air purifiers and filters but that’s the case of the Tuushin hotel. The place smells bad and the pollution concentrations inside the bedrooms make it virtually impossible to sleep.

I stayed at this hotel twice on business. Location is good and that’s all there is. The service is so so for a 5* rated hotel. Staff are cold and are not 5* service worthy. Rooms are clean but decor are outdated and tired. No pool facilities. Food and breakfast served isn’t good either. Prices are quite steep the mediocre service and amenities provided. Take your money elsewhere.

Our only issue with the hotel was the confusion in booking our transfer to the airport on departure. First we got a call at 5:30am, the day before our booked transfer, to say our taxi was waiting. Despite checking twice the previous day and having a Mongolian speaker help us arrange it for the following day. Then the next morning when we went down - luckily quite early - the transfer seemed to be a complete surprise. To the hotel staff’s credit however a taxi was quickly arranged and we still got away on time.

WARNING!! Although I prepaid, this hotel charged my credit card over twice the amount of my booking (and in addition to the amount I had already prepaid). The charge was made three hours after I checked out. When confronted, they promised to refund the money but claimed they could not do so until the following Tuesday. The money was not refunded and now I must pursue this through my credit card. What a hassle! AVOID!!!

The hotel staff are very helpful and the rooms are of a generous size and very well maintained. The location is ideal -- it is within easy walking distance of the main square, museums, galleries, restaurants, and shopping areas. The breakfast array was healthy and varied.

Beautiful views over the city from the bar/restaurant on the top floor.

立地が観光に最適でした。部屋は清潔で、ゆったり過ごせました。
チェックインよりも早く着いたのですが、14時になるまで手続きはできませんでした。また、チェックインまでソファーで待っていたら、｢チェックインできるようになったら教えるから｣と言われたものの、その人はいなくなっていました。ただ、チェックインの手続き自体はスムーズで、とても良かったです。

Ormai sono anni che alloggio in questo hotel. La posizione è ottima per i ristoranti e negozi. Ultimamente l’hotel è invecchiato parecchio e necessiterebbe di un rinnovamento radicale.
C’è sempre difficoltà con gli ascensori che non sono sufficienti per il numero di ospiti, causando di conseguenza lunghe attese per salire nei piani. Anche la colazione ha la stessa trafila, ristorante vecchio con pochi posti e tanta coda. Peccato perché ci sono sempre andato, ma è ora che cambi per qualcosa di più efficiente ed attuale.
