Absolutely fantastic hotel! I have stayed here four times now. The staff are amazing. There was a slight issue with one of our electrical sockets in the bathroom, and within a few hours while we were gone, it was completely fixed, like it never happened. The hotel location is perfect, especially for first timers in Korea. The hotel is safe, clean, spacious, and has amazing views. The GS25 store is super convenient, and the manager there is always so kind! The cleaning staff are also so helpful and sweet.

The only complaint I have is that the hotel room got super hot. I understand that hotels in Korea do not turn on AC during winter, and you can only open the window for cool air. Usually this works just fine during our winter stays, however, this time we stayed from March 20-April 6. The AC was only turned on during the second half of our stay. Our room was 86F/30C one day! While I still highly recommend this hotel, be sure to bring a small desk fan, especially if you are staying during late winter/early spring. Other than the temperature, this hotel has always been a favorite of mine!

This hotel is close to Myeongdong Cathedral and seems to have a relatively good location. Being slightly in on a busy street seems to be an advantage. There is a large surrounding map inside the hotel, providing good guidance not only for foreigners but also for locals. And there's a self-locker, which is very convenient for temporarily storing luggage, and even better is that it's free. However, the flaw that the soundproofing doesn't seem to be very good and the amenties provided are a bit disappointing.

Location is good and convenient..many nice restaurants and cafes around the vicity... Clean hotel and able to select from 9 different types of pillows which was a nice experience! Staff is friendly too!

However suggest can be more flexible by allowing late check out like 1pm instead of charging.

Overall is highly recommended hotel!

Ok so I think pros/con list would be the easiest approach
Cons
- the room is in a desperate need of an update. It is very outdated.
-There were cracked tiles in the bathroom. Walls were visibly discolored. Bedroom sheets with cuts/rips
- Staff was friendly enough. It would have been nice to offer to help bring the luggage to the room but not necessary.
- no room service ( I usually don’t utilize this service but it was a long tiring travel day, the option would have been nice)

Pros
- it’s a place to shower and rest while you explore the beautiful city
- location is ideal for anyone who likes walking. It is also very close to the train station as well. The location was practically perfect. I was no longer than a 20 min drive from most major touristy things

All in all it’s a bed and shower. I’m usually not picky BUT it’s a pretty pricey room (~250 USD/night) for what I received. I also believe I was a little biased when got there. I just came from Thailand where the hotels are much cheaper, much nicer and hospitality that can’t be touched.
Overall it was meh.
Didn’t take away from my trip but definitely did not add to it
I will likely try another hotel when I go back to Seoul

This hotel is pretty new. Room is spacious that you don't have any difficulty to open 2-3 30 inches baggage. Coin laundry service is available which is convenience. However, there is no coffee machine inside the room and it takes about 10 mins walking to the Myeongdong shopping street.

Stayed at 9 Tree by Parnas Myeongdong 2 for two weeks and overall had a very good experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. Staff were professional and helpful throughout my stay.

However, there was a serious concern on my last day (April 10th). A fire alarm occurred and on the top floor (16th), and there was no clear or visible emergency exit guidance. Guests were confused, frantic and searching for stairways, as there were no clearly marked exit doors. It took a little over 5 minutes to find that the stair access was hidden behind a “staff only” door, and even then required going through another door to reach the staircase. There was no clear, immediate indication of where to go in an emergency.

Additionally, the phone in my room was not working when I attempted to contact the front desk during the situation.

While the overall stay was excellent, the lack of clearly marked emergency exits and communication during a fire situation is a serious safety concern that should be addressed.

I always love staying here as the location is excellent - easy to get to subway and buses, as well as walkable to many shopping areas including the Myeongdong night market and Lotte Department Store. There are also many restaurants and cafes around plus a GS25 convenience store in the lobby. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean, with a kettle and a mini fridge provided. You can also make use of the microwave in the pantry on every floor.

Upon arrival, I found the staff to be less than welcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. On the first night, I was surprised to learn that the air conditioning had been auto turned to heat fan due to the outside cold weather, which left the room so uncomfortably warm and making it difficult to relax. It feels like around 80°F in the room and had to sleep with no sheet on.
On the next day, we reported back to hotel stuffs and found out they can't be manual control because it is a central air conditioning system. They came up with a solution, brought us a solid real fan in room. 😊

Breakfast is Korean food mostly. Very little fresh fruit? Oranges and pineapple only. No pastries, cheese, bacon, oatmeal. If you like fish and soup for breakfast you’ll be ok. No a/c. It is turned off January thru may. Hot as the dickens in the room. Window opens about 4 inches. Just awful. Breakfast is way overpriced $15 per person.

Th hotel is a little away from the main myeongdong area which is good as it’s not too loud and noisy. Very close to different subway stations. All in all quite convenient. There’s a Starbucks, Paris baguette, and 7-11 quite near and the concenience store in the lobby is quite convenient to purchase T-money or climate cards. There is also a wow machine pass dispenser in the lobby.

Great location. Everything was walkable distance to some of the attraction, close access to public transportation including airport transfer. The staff was more than helpful And friendly.
Breakfast was good, and had a variety of western, and Korean
We did try the lounge restaurant on the 19th floor. The ambiance was nice but the food( pizza) was not. It tasted like something that came out of the frozen section, we expected something different considering for the amount that you pay for. That would be the only negative thing I could say about the hotel

The staff was outstanding at this hotel. Check-in was easy, and the front desk was always helpful in answering questions and ordering a taxi for us. The floor staff was just constantly cleaning. The WiFi is a little slow, and was only accessible on our phones through a QR code. I had to use my personal hotspot to access WiFi on my laptop. The twin beds are actually very large, though we had to ask for more pillows (which came VERY quickly, though were much smaller than the pillows on the beds). The bathroom amenities were great and the towels were quite large. The location of this hotel is terrific if you are interested in going to bustling Myeongdong, and it's very close to subway stations as well. We did not eat in the restaurant at all, but we did use the convenience store on the ground floor every day, sometimes several times a day, which was very handy. Overall, a terrific hotel and experience -- we would recommend this hotel and would stay there again!

Had a long stay, for about 2 weeks, the staff were great, the room was wonderful. We came during winter time but the room was very hot and the temperature was fixed at 27 degrees Celsius, but the staff kindly gave us fans. You couldn’t chronic cast to the tv and it was mostly Korean but it added to the ambiance. The hair and body products in the bathroom were beyond amazing and the idea that you can choose your pillows or have a convenient store downstairs were great too. The location is 10/10, in a lively area, close to the metro but not noisy or busy all the time. A great stay all together

Super good location and close to metro station and Myeongdong shopping area. Lots of dining options around, little bars and local eateries just a street away so good. The room is good size and have all and Ohio need. We stayed at 11/F which has a common Mir to wave water machine and ironing facility are handy. Will stay here again next time for sure.

A great hotel with a convenience store in the lobby. Easy check in, nice large and comfy rooms. Laundry available. Close to metro. Housekeeping was so diligent even though I didn’t want my room cleaned, they were very attentive to check in whenever they saw me come out of the room. They were very generous with offering new towels and water bottles which I personally didn’t think was necessary since there was a shared water fountain. The reception was so helpful in getting extra pillows and arranging another room on the same floor when I extended my stay. Would definitely stay again.

I agree with other reviews that states this isn't a 4 star hotel, I'd say it's a solid 2 stars instead. The rooms are outdated, I had spider nets on the walls and it was generally just dusty. However the location is excellent, I walked around quite a bit. I got the room on a good offer and stayed for one night after a business trip so I was satisfied with my stay. As tourists, I don't think anyone spends too much time at their accommodation so this can be a good option, just don't expect too much. I had breakfast too because I had to leave early in the morning so it was convenient but I found the choices to be poor. Also, checking in the room is at 3pm but lunch stops at 2.30pm and they don't offer any other food options apart from the convenience store inside the hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, checking in and out was easy.

The walls are quite thin sadly, I had a very noisy neighbour during my stay who was hooting and yelling at 3am, waking me up multiple times so that's something to consider.

Brilliant! Clean to the extent of walking barefoot on the room's carpet (yes, I would never do that elsewhere but this genuinely felt clean). Breakfast was nice with a lot of options, locations is great with Myongdong street market 10-15 minutes walk away and a close by metro station on the inner city green line so access to everything. The GS25 inside the hotel is super convenient and has a WOW pass machine if you went for that.

I booked this hotel 2 years in a row. This is very conveniently located with easy access to 3 subway lines. It is easy to find food whether tourist type for or even more local spots. Staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel also has laundry which is so great for multi night long visits. I will continue to book this hotel. The only challenge is that it faces the euljiro neighbourhood which for some may find noisy into the night. That said earplugs helped and it never bothered me.

I’ve stayed here twice already, and both times were excellent. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice, spacious, and clean — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is extremely convenient with a GS25 right in the lobby, and it’s close to three different train lines, making it very easy to get to all your destinations. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip!

This hotel is extremely convenient. Walkable to many cool shops, places to eat and sightseeing. The room is a great size. Views are obstructed by other hotels but not a dealbreaker. There is a store in the lobby that holds a wide selection of foods and emergency items. Staff is very friendly and patient with foreigners. Will store your luggage before check in or after checking out with no problem. Would stay here again.

A very nice hotel that's close to the subway station and a 8 min walk away from the bustle of Myeongdong shopping area.

The king bed was definitely just two mattresses pushed together, and I would've just preferred a Queen at that point, but otherwise the stay was great.

The room practically had no ac and that’s unbearable during the summer. The lobby is cold but my room was 84 degrees. When I complained, they brought fans up to the room. They said the central ac is set at that temp. Can’t get relief from the heat. Also, they only have 2 treadmills in the gym and one does not work properly. Hard to work out when competing for the only treadmill. The convenience store in the lobby is very convenient but the staff there were so rude. The front desk were very nice and helpful. They are the only good thing about this hotel. They called cabs for us and had good info about the neighborhood.
