YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Booked this place as part of our trip through Queensland, it looked ideal as we don't enjoy the beach so much & with what looked like a nice pool & BBQ area our decision was straight forward.
As we arrived there was a notice advising pool & BBQ area closure due to required upgrades (see image) however we was delighted to find this had not started yet. We shopped for BBQ food ready for the following evening but sadly never got the chance to enjoy. The next morning 7.30am we was awakened to drilling & hammering noises along with pool/bbq area closure which was disappointing to say the least.
At this point I wouldn't have left a bad review even though we wouldn't have booked the property knowing there was even a chance of closure, what really got me angry was the property manager LIED!!!
The images attached show the facts & you can decide this for yourself.
Hotels.com apologised for the property not caring a dam about us, all we wanted was the property to apologise although Hotels.com requested a refund, this was never our request.
THE POOL & BBQ COULD REMAIN CLOSED FOR SOME TIME & YOU WILL ONLY KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE!!!.

The a/c didn’t work so the rooms were stuffy and hot and I wasn’t given any discount or money back even though having ac was apart of my booking. Not the cleanest , balcony had a massive spider web over the table with a big spider. Not enough blankets in room

Our room was assigned to another guest. We arrive at 5:30pm, the office was supposed to close at 6pm. No one was there. They ran out of rooms and so gave us a smaller room. We had our children with us and would not fit. So we had to scramble at the last minute and find another room. It was 12/31 so I can understand it was booked but then we had to scramble on a very busy night.

the view was of the house next door, no curtains in the main room , sun came in at 5.30, no soap in shower , was 24 hours after check in we received soap. Could see straight into main room from balcony as only one sheer bit of fabric. Dog barking from reception. House keeping was still cleaning room on arrival which was half hour after check in time.

Complaint. When I rang up our booking I confirmed if it was a two bedroom apartment and the lady said it was week prior Or I would've have booked it. The receptionist was meant to be open rang five times no answer. Until my son could just reach behind the counter and rang he bell. When we spoke to her i she seemed quite confused as someone booked a two bedroom under a similar name. She gave us a roll out bed anyway but wasn't happy as I did ring up and confirm it or I would've cancelled it. The doona had no cover they were disgusting and so were the pillows I reckon they were ten years old. The air conditioner wasnt really working No toilet paper in the room the bathroom wall had a hole in it clog up with toilet paper. The lounge had a piece of the frame poking out and my son and I both poke our self's on it. Had to put a towel on it to seat in it. The Whole place was terrible run down wasn't worth the money. And I would have cancelled it if it wasn't two bedroom but the lady on the phone week prior said it was

Lovely welcome on arrival. Room and facilities spotless. Great to have undercover parking. The apartment we had came with a balcony / table - ideal for reading, cuppa or something stronger and nibbles.
Maybe 15 minutes walk to beach to take in the sunrise.

The 2-bedroom family room was clean and tidy. It could do with some maintenance, however.
Pool was clean but would be better if it was heated. Children didn't enjoy swimming as it was freezing; even on a hot day.
Overall we had a nice stay.

Cosy little unit good for a couples stay

The unit itself was cosy for a couple stay but the couch was a little too small when you have a big broad husband to share it with. Unfortunately there was no broom or mop provided that we could use given we were there for 8 nights. Other than that, enjoyable stay.

We booked this property. Got a confirmation number. Had friends drive us to the property within the hour. Desk was closed. Phoned number provided. Male answered saying there was no reservation for us. Female came down soon after and stated there was no way we could have booked a room as they have no vacant rooms.

She had no interest in seeing our confirmation information. There was no effort to empathize or Offer an apology! Very disappointed in her response and attitude.

At the same time time period. Another couple arrived. They had booked a room. Confirmed it. They were treated same way and no room was reserved for them. We were visiting from Canada and had little resources to deal with the fraudulent booking situation!

The receptionist was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. The fridge was not working, so when we reported that it’s not working and that our food was spoiled overnight the receptionist told that that we didn’t have much food in there and that he couldn’t help us except bring a smaller fridge and put it in the middle of the kitchen. We asked to be transferred to another room and were told that they’re fully booked and he cannot do that. In fact there was plenty of rooms available, he just couldn’t be bothered to do the paperwork. So we asked for a refund for the rest of the time we paid for and were told that they don’t do refund. When I told him that the balcony was not cleaned for a very pong time and he’d bird droppings all over it he just looked at me and ignored my concerns completely. So very unhelpful receptionist. Bed is in desperate need of replacement, it’s falling apart.
This is not a 4 star stay whatsoever. Will never go back to this place.

Front desk staff were polite and friendly but the facilities were dated , could have been cleaner. TV was shoved up in corner so only could see 3/4 screen from bed. Was a desk however the chair with it was so low that has to put three pillows and a blanket on it to be able to do any work . Wasn’t the worst but wouldn’t stay there again

Road noise was not great. Curtains were old and damaged, couldn't close them properly to keep the walkway light out. Pillows were terrible, bring your own. The shower was great though, good and hot. Staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. Just some updating with pillows and drapery and noisy road were issues, bought our own cups, microwave looked really old so didn't use it. Parking could be an issue in really busy times.

Our room wasn’t made up and there was a pile of used linen on the floor. The phone number provided had no international dialling code. We could only contact them by borrowing a local phone. Fortunately we received a refund. The accommodation looked run down and was near a very busy noisy road.

You had to drive for a meal or to go to the beach. Not really central, as the name tells you. Nice unit comfortable. the blinds in lounge did not go all the way leaving you exposed at night. Lots of work going on a bit noisey but the work has to be done. We would stay there again when the Restaurant re-opens.

Ignore the negative reviews! This place is great value for money and an easy 15 min walk through a nice neighbourhood to shops and a beautiful beach. There's road noise, but it's comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again

Terrible room classed as studio which was tiny, in a basement sort of setting facing the loud motorway and not a proper windows. Luckily only stayed one night but stayed in much nicer motels for less. The online pictures make it look much better and bigger than it is. The icing on the cake was that the management asked the guest to clean any used dishes and sort out the garbage !!!

Property was good however there were a couple of things that I noticed were damaged previous to me staying I.e bathroom soap dispenser cover fell off when I used the dispenser as if it was just sitting there, and patio deck chair leg was broken. I found the property to be nice and tidy and I was also pleasantly surprised by the two extra spare beds as I don't believe these were advertised. Lady at front counter was very quick and helpful upon check in also. Thank you

The reviews on this one scared me. I didn’t look before I booked so I was a little nervous after I read them. I can assure you the reception does not smell like smoke or wee. It was clean and no smell. The room was clean and basic. I would say 3 star. The hotel is aged but the pool and bbq area were tidy and maintained. I think if you expect 3 star you won’t be disappointed. I would stay again. It’s close to beach and shops and there is a car park designated to your room and I drive a ranger ute and found the car park easy to get in and out of so not sure about those parking reviews.

If I could leave a 0 rating I would DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
- Reception and the lift smelt like cigarettes and weed
- Disabled parking spots were always taken by residents who were too lazy to use their own parking
- Room was not as pictured, phots online are photoshopped
- Room smelt very strongly of bleach which caused me to have asthma and my husband and I both extreme headaches
- the blockout curtains were too small for the 1 window in the room
- The noise throughout the night and early morning felt like we had people in our room with us at 2am, 3:30am, 6am and again at 7am
- The extremely small outdoor area was dirty and as people walked past our room they stopped to look at us over the wall (it was a ground floor room with a walled outdoor area)
- The bathroom has no exhaust so the room was just always had a damp feeling after showers
- The restaurant was closed by the looks of it for good we weren’t informed
- the lights right outside out one and only window with blockout curtains that were too small were on 24hrs and shone into the room
- There is a sign telling you to wash your dishes but you had the choice of using the bathroom sink or a bucket they supplied and water as they didn’t give you dish washing liquid or anything to wash them with (we did not use anything)
- We were given one towel each and notice was given via email that they would not be giving us any extra towels during our stay.

Could use a coat of paint. Could small cigarette as you walked into reception. The unit itself was ok but really needs an update. The spa was cold! We got woken at 2:10am by a group of loud guests. The TV could use foxtel. There were two toilet rolls. The bath towels were tiny and the worst part was the internet photos looked nothing like the complex!!! Would not stay again!

Kym, the lady in the reception was very accommodating. She facilitated everything which included cancellation of my double booking and making our stay an enjoyable one. Coming from Perth to relocate to Sunshine Coast, we had a lot of baggage plus the long trip. Kym arranged an earlier checked-in and sent two equally kind ladies to assist us to our room. Thank you again Kym. I’ll definitely recommend this place.

Property was nice enough, but apparently it's a party hotel. We staid two nights. First night wasn't too bad, lots of yelling and screaming but it subsided around 8pm.

Second night was horrific, we had to endure a late night party that sounded like it was in our room.

Won't be staying here again, we paid for a good nights sleep and almost needed a day off work to recover from the lack of sleep.
