Breakfast was fine. Our bathtub had a big area of dried soggy soap residue on the ledge. So I imagine the tub wasn’t cleaned. Never saw the pool. The stairs to the second level in our room was VERY steep. The bed setup was great otherwise to sleep 6. Check out was 10am and our child had a competition until 11am so that was very inconvenient. $75 per hour for late check out. No thanks. I don’t know why they have such an early checkout. We were going to have lunch at their restaurant before heading home but we had to leave at 10am and the restaurant didn’t open until 11am. Oh well. Overall the place was fine but I don’t know if I’d stay there again.

Clean room, friendly staff, I didn’t go to breakfast as I am gluten free and bring all my own food on trips, my family said it was fine, they were able to find something to eat.

Our first room clearly wasn't cleaned before we arrived. The mini fridge still had spilled corn inside when we checked in, and there were multiple items/ trash left behind from the previous guests. During our second night at the hotel, the roof leaked on me to the point where my bed and the surrounding floor were soaked. Luckily, the hotel staff moved us to another room. However, TVs in both of the rooms we stayed in did not work properly. On a brighter note, the hotel is very close to the mountian and the staff seemed nice.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed. Rooms from the 80s. Food is terrible. Not just at the inn but in all of Waterville. Had to leave early because we ran out of places to try to eat.

Staff were friendly and helpful, provided an infant crib for our little one. The breakfast was simple and timing a bit tight, ending at 930. The lodge itself was spacious and comfortable, aging gracefully and featuring a rustic style. I personally liked the wood accents, they made the rooms warmer though the forced heat was noisy and made for very dry air.

My friend and I stayed here for a girls hiking weekend and loved it. Although a little dated the place is spotless and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Indian restaurant within was delicious! The freedom pass was a nice bonus giving us access to lots of activities in the area. Overall we loved our stay and will be back.

There were numerous long black hairs found in the bathroom and our clean sheets. The staff was able to get us what we needed, but it took a long time. However we stayed on the off-season. The baby crib was missing two wheels so we had to balance it ourselves which was less than ideal. Solid 2.5 stars as it was affordable for the size of the space and location

Evidently the property was constructed in 1975. It obviously has not been updated since. There was an overwhelming, unidentifiable odor throughout the common areas and the hallways which caused us to move our room. The staff was accommodating. The headboard had at least 6 months of dust on the top and the mattress pad had a disgusting amount of hair on it. The bathtub also had hair in it. We did not utilize the in-house restaurant due to the overpowering odor in the building.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a kids sports tournament in the area when I was there and many of the families stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn. I like kids, bit I felt like my room was attached to a kid's birthday party. Kids were constantly running up and down the hallways playing tag. Fun for them but not for me. I'd suggest if you intend to stay here, ask if there is a sporting event going on. The venue is quaint...older but generally comfortable. There usually was nobody at the front desk. The continental breakfast was good. The shuttle to the ski lifts took about 10 minutes and was very handy.

Location is great, convenient to rink and food options. Hotel is dated, like stepping into the 70s. Staff friendly and accommodating. Still uses keys on the door. Breakfast were mini bagels, small pastries and waffle maker, no real hot breakfast. Diner around the corner had better options. Beds comfortable, though heating system could be noisy if you are sleeping next to it. Pillows comfortable. Overall, you stay there for the location.

The staff was great! I had to ask for iron and ironing board, and the receptionist was on top of it!! They called to advise me about the shuttle offering to the wedding reception I was going to. Loved my room and the lounging areas. Will definitely go back!!!

This property is old. 1970’s with no renovations.
The roof needs replaced on the entire property as there are signs of leaks everywhere. Felt very dusty!

Workers/owners very nice and efficient.

Ótimo lugar, amamos!

O hotel fica ulemá uma vila com vários outros resorts, próxima a montanha para skiar que oferece ônibus gratuitos para a montanha.
Quarto tamanho muito bom. Estávamos em 4 adultos 1 criança e tinha cama para todos.
O quarto era de dois andares, no andar de cima tinha 2 camas de solteiro.
Em baixo uma de casal e uma de solteiro.
No quarto tinha uma geladeira pequena.
Em cada andar tinha uma sala com microondas, com sofás em mesa e jogos para se divertir.
O café da manhã era simples e muito bom.
O senhor da recepção era muito simpático.
Iríamos ficar 1 noite e mudamos nossa reserva para uma noite extra.
O lugar é lindo. Rodeado de montanhas, muitas atividades oferece, piscina, lago, pedalinho, e parquinhos.
Tem um complexo que vários restaurantes e música ao vivo aos sábados.
O hotel eh estilo rústico e muito aconchegante.
Adoramos a estadia e gostaríamos de voltar e aproveitar o inverno.

Very nice lodge with a lot of common areas. It has been around for a while and is aged a bit, but it certainly adds some charm to it. The owner is new and looks like he will keep it at its best. Also - very nice quite yet convenient location. I will return there in a few years.

Our stay was good. The staff at the desk was wonderful. The room was very minimal. We didn’t have enough blankets or pillows and there was no curtain on the window only simple blinds. The beds aren’t super comfortable but aren’t terrible.

An excellent place to connect with nature. However, it may not be very quiet due to a lot of kids running around. It could benefit from implementing more technology in the doors, but overall, it's a beautiful place to find peace.

I went with my older children and we had a great time. The dining in the resort was better than anything in the local shopping area that we had. The proximity to hiking trails was great. Also, the options that came with the freedom pass were a nice surprise. We were all quite happy with our stay there.
