We had such a lovely family break. It was so nice to have a rooftop and wonderful pool facilities and to be walking distance from the beach and restaurants. The accommodation was comfortable for a family. Really

I liked the size of the unit. I didn’t like that I was unaware there was no lift and my travelling friend had to walk up 4 flights of stairs and had recently had surgery. I will ensure next time I always enquire at places if the have lifts.

I loved that the property was close to everything & all we needed was at our apartment..even an umbrella & fishing rods! The shops were a short walk & the water is a “stone throw” away.
The property felt private & quiet. We enjoyed falling asleep & waking to the sound of the tide.
Loved how easy It was to check in & out.

We had a fabulous stay at this property. We walked to the shops daily for morning coffee. The rooms were very spacious and would comfortably accommodate a family - also the views from our apartment were beautiful. We had a rooftop apartment so enjoyed watching the sunset over the glasshouse mountains - the 4 short flights of stairs were not a problem for us at all. Thank you for a great holiday - we will definitely consider coming back here.

manager didn't seem interested and you hardly saw him; WiFi didn't work most of the time and nothing was done, despite asking several times- heard another guest ask as well; stayed 12 nights and no clean sheets were available in that time, and no one came and did any cleaning, hence when we left the rooms looked dirty as the shower and toilet and hand basin hadn't been cleaned at all ; office was hardly ever open - if you wanted to see the manager you generally had to phone him; people arrived 1/2 hour later than expected and we were the only ones around to help them- the manager was offsite despite them being expected. He was very helpful when we got a flat tyre on the last day despite all this.

Perfect location!

Very good value for a two bedroom apartment. We had a beautiful view of the pier from our balcony, and the place is only a short walking distance to the main street with bars, cafes etc. The apartment was clean and had all basic home comforts - tv, washing machine, dryer, oven, fridge etc.
Definitely would stay here again. No complaints!

Was a little disappointed that our room wasn't serviced at all during a 10 night stay. And that the vertical blinds were old & broken - could really do with being replaced especially in bedrooms where you want the light to be blocked.

Spacious, full kitchen, laundry in room.

Chose this listing as it was listed as a \"hotel on the water\". Turns out it's more of a short term extended stay type of unit where people might stay from a week to a month or so. As such there is nothing in the kitchen, no napkins, dish soap, sponge etc. and you are expected to supply your own toilet paper after the roll you arrive to is used. I cleaned the kitchen counters and refrigerator door when we arrived (with face wipes because that's all I had with me) because they were sticky and unclean. I also cleaned the mirror and sink faucet in the bathroom because they were not clean. There is no elevator and lugging bags up 4 flights may not be appropriate for all visitors. The pool was not useable when we arrived ( heater broken) . When I asked for toilet paper the 2nd day we were there, I got a little lecture from the owner about how her long term guests expect everything. I told her as a 2 night guest, we could not be expected to carry toilet paper, dish detergent, etc. She gave us the toilet paper and dish detergent but as I guest I did not need the explanation. As far as the unit itself, lots of holes in the screens so leaving windows open isn't practical , beds are in need of new bedding and mattresses, there is what appears to be mold on the ceiling in the living room. Also the location is good, walkable to shops and restaurants but there is no actual beach right next to the building, it's s boat launch. It's large but not a hotel.

Great place except the lights need fixing!

Good spot, short car ride or a long walk to the beach. Upstairs room nice & cool & breezy. Felt let down that the managers hadn't bothered to replace any of the lights in the stair wells, which must have been obvious and it was actually a hazard as those were dark areas. We shouldn't have to use cellphone lights to find our rooms and navigate 6 flights of stairs! Also the bulb in the kitchen was blown, plus more I suspect as 2 light switches seemed to do nothing. really nice facility with rooftop BBQ area, quality building, quiet too.

This is the second time we have stayed here, but the 1st with the new owners. All I can say is this lovely couple did everything in their power to ensure all of my family had a great time. We arrived 4 days after the cyclone had made land further north, so the weather wasn't the best. Nothing was too much, good advice on where we could go and what we could do. The property is lovely and well maintained, close to everything. If you book here you won't be disappointed, we will be back again thank you and see you soon

Tripcony Quays is walking distances to shops, cinemas, markets and beaches in Caloundra. Just a few hundred meters from the boardwalk which takes you all the way to Kings Beach and beyond. Walking distance to shops either in Bullock Street or two major shopping centres for supermarkets and retail shops. Extremely quiet area with lots of restraurants in walking distance nearby. Comfortable, clean apartment with a balcony. All facilities you would need for a holiday or short break.

We were met by our amazing host, she showed us to a second room once she knew we were travelling with 3 children under 3 instead of the room that we were located. It was clean tidy and great linnen, handy to everything an she even came up severL times to make sure we had everything and we were happy. Love this place and we will certainly visit here again.

Due to reading previous reviews, we were expecting it to be 'outdated', so this wasn't an issue at all.
We had an apartment with our own rooftop BBQ area and the room itself was very big and spacious.
The beds were also very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Joanne and joe are the best hotel staff anyone could ask for. They were helpful and warm, ensuring we felt welcomed and we were happy with our accommodation.

We had a beautiful 2 bed apartment. The furniture and room may have been a little dated but were clean and well maintained. If your looking for a 5 star immaculate apartment, you may be disappointment. If your looking for a friendly, clean, in a great location, with great staff you won't be disappointed. We felt right at home and didn't want to leave.

Stayed again and had same room. Fantastic view, could keep an eye on the kids fishing on the jetty right in front of our room. Location is in very close walking to all shops and food etc. Quiet with little no road noise. Great staff that welcome you on arrival and show you to your room. Phone call prior to arrival from staff telling us we could come in earlier. Thanks again Joanne for your hospitality. See you again soon.
