The staff and location were amazing. I think from the recent floods in Nov. Lots of area hotels and businesses are still dealing with the aftermath. The gym was a little moldy so I used a local drop in gym, to resolve any concerns.

Great hotel just steps away from the old quarter of Hoi An! We were welcomed in a friendly and professional way. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and it had a great view of the swimming pool and adjacent rooms. The staff was efficient and helpful. The bed was so big and comfortable and we were able to get plenty of deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was modest and limited, but sufficient for a good nutrition. They had bicycles to use which was a nice way for exploring the town.

Overall, our stay here was ok. The location is great and only a short walk to the old town. I booked a balcony room but didn’t really get that - it was more of a door that opened up but not really outside. I could have asked to change rooms but felt it wasn’t worth it. The room was spacious but bedding could definitely be improved. The cleaning of our room only happened once during our 4 night stay. We would go out each morning and return about 2pm to the room which hadn’t been serviced. They seemed to come later in the day which wasn’t great for us. Breakfast was average. On our first day we arrived at about 8am (breakfast ends at 9:30am) and many items were empty and didn’t look like they were being restocked. Other hotels in Vietnam had a lot more variety including fresh squeezed juices (not bottled). Also very busy at times with lots of tour groups. The service of the hotel was good. We had an issue with a very loud frog who kept us awake with its croaking. They got onto it, sorted it out and then the next day asked us if we wanted to change rooms. We only had one more night left so didn’t bother. Alice on reception was excellent - very friendly and helpful.

I really did like this property! They were constantly on top of the cleaning, the rooms were very cozy and spacious, noise was minimal, location was fantastic. Breakfast was also top notch.
The one bit of feedback i would provide (and did) to the property was that the odor of mildew/mold in the 2 rooms we had and the presence of black mold around the bathroom fan were problematic. I know Vietnam is so very humid and the buildings aren’t great for circulation but breathing in mold and mildew can be harmful, and the odor is really unpleasant. We tried to air it out but we couldn’t get a handle on it.

The property is situated in a fantastic location. The rooms were very nice for the price. They did feel very humid and muggy and smelt like mildew at times. But no fault of hotel as Hoi Ann is rainy season now and it did not stop raining the entire 4 days we were there. The buffet breakfast provided daily as part of the room rate was fantastic. It has basically everything, even pho soup. Coffee was good too. The staff were amazing and always ready to assist. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel in the heart of Hoi An. It is so pretty and a short walk from the centre. We got a free upgrade to a villa when we arrived and it was beautiful, immaculate and spacious. There is a shuttle bus to the beach, free bike hire and a convenient tour booking desk. There are 2 large pools at the hotel with sun beds. The staff can’t do enough for you and go above and beyond. I accidentally left a bag and my AirPods in the room after leaving for HCM and the hotel posted them to me for free which was a lifesaver! I would recommend this hotel and stay here again if I visited Hoi An again. Stay at this hotel!

Pros: A staff, very clean and sanitary, excellent air conditioning, close to everything, superior tv channels offered from around the globe, decent breakfast options, but catered slightly towards other Asian tastes (let’s get some eggs added), and did I mention the staff?

Cons: a little less sound insulation from the hallway. This is pretty common for all hotels in Southeast Asia under a hundred bucks a night. This place cost me around 40 per night, so it’s something I expected.

I recently got back from an eight week vacation/holiday, and I stayed at roughly ten different locations. This was by far the best hotel involved. I had a checkout for noon, and my flight was at midnight. The front desk took great care of my luggage, securing it so that I could enjoy Hoi An for my last day. They even offered to let me shower in an open room, and mind you this was after I checked out. Needless to say the staff went above and beyond from my perspective as an ardent traveler. Will be coming back.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was beautiful. It is very close to the Hoi An ancient town and a great place to stay if you like to walk and explore the area. Breakfast buffet has limited options but the quality of the Asian dishes were great. Definitely recommend eating the Vietnamese dishes. The only thing we didn’t like was that the tours booked through the hotel were a lot more expensive than if you just book them through Klook. We made the mistake of booking several of our day tours through the hotel for convenience sake. However, do check with the staff, on the last day, they offer to price match whatever we found online but you need to pull up the quotes on the phone for confirmation.

Wonderful stay at Silkotel in Hoi An

The Silkotel was a fantastic place to stay. Close enough to everything but quiet and peaceful. There are bikes onsite to take out riding and 2 beautiful pool areas. The breakfast were sumptuous and a great variety for the many travellers. We had 2 interconnecting rooms, which was great. Overall I highly recommend staying at the Silkotel. The staff also are very friendly and helpful.

Not recommended if you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxed stay. We asked for a quiet room and got the room next to the elevators. The staff obviously didnt care. Once you arrive they try to sell you slightly overpriced tours. Breakfast was in regards to the price good. The Hotel was very loud, there a lot of groups that keep you up at night. One minimum requirement is to have a nightstand, power and light switch next to the bed one both sides that wasnt given. Unfortunately we couldnt enjoy our stay.

Our room faced north and about 7am the speakers and the neighbouring temple started.
Manager quickly offered me a room change to which I declined mainly because I couldn’t be bothered packing up my stuff. As such I can’t deem this to be a negative about the hotel. It is just one of those things. The next morning the speakers didn’t make any noise.

The room was of a large size with a very comfy bed.
Curtains needed to be a bit darker but I didn’t mind getting up with the sun.

Air con in our room struggled a bit but in a friend’s room it was like a fridge so not sure what to make of that.

Breakfast was of high quality.

Everything was great about this hotel... good breakfast, good walking location to shopping, clean, up-to-date....the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the room was a bit hot and I could not turn the a/c down past 18c. If they would lower that limit to 16, it would have been 5 stars. I asked and they said they couldn’t lower it.

Great stay! The service was very hospitable, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and we had a great stay. Very comfortable pillows. The staff helped arrange serveral services and outings and they were all really helpful. Breakfast was good with a large selection of dishes, and about 25% of the options changed daily. The room was very clean. The only thing I would change is the check-in process. It took a very long time and the staff over-explained very basic things about staying in a hotel and described their tours in too much detail.

Our stay at Silk was a 10/10 experience. It was so great that we extended our time with them. The location was fantastic. Not quite in the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to everything you need in the old town. The hotel was exactly what the name suggests, luxury. The room was a great size with a giant comfy bed and the shower had great water pressure. They had two pools to choose from and each time we had the pool to ourselves which was the icing on the cake. The restaurant provided great food and service for both the breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. The staff were fantastic, really went above and beyond for you and weren’t too bad at speaking English which always makes your stay a little easier. The prices of the spa packages were ridiculously cheap compared to our home country and the 20% off deal made it even better. If you’re looking to add luxury to your trip whether it’s for one night or multiple nights I cannot recommend Silk enough.

Great stay at Silk Luxury Hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam. Staff was very friendly and supportive/responsive to requests. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Outstanding morning buffet breakfast, with many options for both local and western food. Location was very convenient to the river and Old Hoi An area. Bicycles provided on site made getting further away quite easy. Would definitely recommend, and if visiting Hoi An again, will stay at the Silk Luxury Hotel.

The hotel was situated just outside of the old town, allowing convenience without the congestion of the town centre.

While the room was big and spacious, I did feel the location of my room was a little strange. The door leading out to where a balcony would typically be is located next to a common corridor, so my room actually leads out to the common corridor. Not necessarily a big issue but I felt I couldn't open the curtains to let in some natural light because it would leave the room feeling very exposed

The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The café managers are very attentive and charming. The location is so strategic, close to old town, night market, market, etc. The breakfast has a good spread of varieties. The rooms are so pretty and well kept, and the price are so-so reasonable. This is my second time staying here with 9 other most satisfied girlfriends and will certainly come back to this hotel if I were to visit Hoi An again. I will strongly recommend to my relatives and friends.

Beautiful Hotel

Check-in was a breeze especially arriving on a late domestic flight. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable beds. Hotel staff are very helpful and always keen to assist with anything. Within walking distance of Hoi An ancient town and several other places. We tried their spa, excellent service and enjoyed the massages there. Happy hour is pretty awesome - cocktails were so good. A variety at buffet breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, we would definitely stay here again.

A lovely and comfortable space to say in Hoi An

We had a good time at Silk Luxury Hotel. Our check-in was very nice, and the welcome drink we had was the best one we had in our time in SE Asia.

The room itself was very clean upon arriving, however we did notice a few mosquitoes in our room (that's the only negative).

Breakfast is an average spread of food, but we did see multiple times during our stay that the dining area would fill up and it'd sometimes be difficult to find a table inside, away from the heat (go to breakfast early!).

Location is nice, outside of the louder areas of Hoi An but close enough to be absolutely accessible.

Stones throw from the old town

Very happy to discover the gate to the old town was a three minute walk away. Be sure to buy your ticket at the kiosk gate for US$6 to help preserve the old town - the reason for your travels there. Make sure you venture out at night to see the show of lanterns along the river. We did a countryside cycling tour through Grasshopper, which was a wonderful insight into the life outside the city. Have the Hoian pancakes while in town and leave looking sharp in a tailored suit or dress. Would head back to Hoian in a heartbeat and would stay at Silk Luxury again!

Aussie couple in Vietnam for the first time

This hotel goes above and beyond expectations.
The staff particularly Mai and Thau were so friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and clean as was the pool area when we enjoyed our happy hour drinks.
I enjoyed a massage, facial, manicure and pedicure at short notice and for a very reasonable price.
Everything you want to do is close by including a couple of laundries and you can use the hotel shuttle to get around too.
The only two small complaints were the noise from the pool after pool hours but once that was brought to the hotels attention they made sure it didn't happen again and the noise of some hotel renovations but it was only minor.
Would I go back to this hotel again? Absolutely!

Wonderful!

Wonderful trip! This was the second time my husband and I stayed here and it was just as lovely as th first! It was my husband’s birthday and the staff prepared a birthday cake and flowers for him! The staff, especially Suli, made us feel very welcomed and special!

Amazing!

Amazing hotel! Short walk to old town, free daily shuttles to beach, 2 pools, breakfast was amazing with lots of variety, bed was amazing. Couldn’t ask for more!
