Disappointing.
While the location was close to the canals restaurants and shops, the condition of the hotel was poor. They have a bar that is never open. You are only able to get cans of beer from the front desk. The pool is a glassed enclosure in the lobby so not really an ideal place to sit. The breakfast menu is adequate and there is often not enough room to sit.
The room- there was water damage peeling paint and black mould on one of the walls. Mould in the bathroom too. Almost no water pressure and the shower needed to run for at least 10 min before the water turned warm. It never got hot.
The bed was comfortable and clean. The layout of the room was also fine.
Staff were less that helpful when asking for directions, suggestiins of things to see.
Would not stay here again.

Our shower has zero water pressure so we could not shower. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. Location unbeatable but also is loud until 4 am . Not terribly loud in the room but you can hear it. If you are a light sleeper or not starting out late, stay somewhere else.

This property like many properties around VN we've stay at had mold. I believe this is due to the lack of air circulation and the humidity. The hotel looked clean from the front lobby but we were moved around to 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms had mold. If you can imgine the musty wet wood smell that's what the rooms smelled like. One of the room we booked didn’t have a working AC unit but the staff were nice and quickly moved us, The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their pool had algea and mold along the pool so the kids didn’t want to use it.

We really enjoyed the view and location of this hotel. The breakfast was tasty and convenient. The pool.is small but is perfect fir a cool dip after a fun day of sightseeing and shopping. The best part is to be abke to walk to the lantern festival and night market!

Our family of three from Vermont stayed at the River Suites Hoi An for 2 nights. The close proximity of the hotel to points of interest in Hoi An made it very easy for us to walk to these sites. The hotel staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet selection was large, and the open-air restaurant connected to the front porch (with plenty of seating) was great. The room was clean, and the hotel was well-maintained. We highly recommend the River Suites Hoi An Hotel.

this hotel is on the river bank.It is within walking distant to night market and old town.Room is clean. Bathroom does not have a separate shower.The shower is inside the bathtub.Hot water system does not work correctly. It is very difficult to mix,it is either too hot or too cold. Breakfast is below average, many dishes were cold.

Wonderful Low cost Central Hotel

What a gem of a hotel. Its situated right on the edge of the pedestrian area, so close to everything, but far enough away to be quiet.
We booked the Penthouse Suit at the top because its was so cheap, yet still a wonderful hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, quite with a great view out over the town and river.
Breakfast was small, but still with a good choice of buffet and cooked options.
There is a pool downstairs, although more like a giant bath.

Hotel us actually in a great location, fast access to both the old town and across the river. Great street food just outside in the evening.
Wonderful, polite and friendly staff.
Good buffet breakfast, with omelette bar and good range of food options.
Don't know why there is a TV though, there's nothing for foreigners to watch in the evening...even a movie channel.

Nice hotel very close to old town .when we arrived were shown a room with swimming pool view. We were very disappointed as the room was dark and to see the swimming pull you had to hang your head out of the window . We explained to the staff our dissatisfaction and they immediately changed our room for a river view which was amazing . The staff were lovely Breakfast was great would definitely recommend but not swimming pool view

Hotel is situated very near to old town. Explanation about the hotel and surrounding given by staff during check in was helpful. Bed and pillow are comfortable. Using the rain shower above the bathtub is prone to flooding the bathroom unless care is taken to adjust shower head to minimise splatter out of the tub. Breakfast was ok. There is s shuttle to An Bang beach.

Proximity to the old town is a plus but it's not too close that you get swarmed by the bus loads of tourists that come everyday. Staff are all very friendly and very prompt with resolving issues.
Aircon wasn't working properly but staff gave us another keycard to cool the room when we are not in it. Very much needed in for August weather.
I had an issue with the shower head and the hotel engineers resolved the issue very quickly. Room is very nice but if you do have mobility issues the bathtub is not ideal for showering as it is quite a climb to get in. Not enough hooks or towel rods to hang towels and clothes in the bathroom. Toilet separated by a glass door is a plus.

Comfortable and nice!

This hotel is really nice, the rooms are big and comfortable. The location is great as well, just few minutes walking from the night market and the main and colorful streets of Hoi An. The staff is really helpful and attentive, Than and Tai were amazing. The breakfast is generous. We booked rooms with river view and, although is nice, you don't get to see the colorful part of the river with all the canoes.

Fantastic location, beautiful room and great views. It was my girlfriends birthday and the staff did an amazing job with birthday flowers and decorations. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Just a few metres walk to market and old town. Very friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay. The only critisism is the breakfast was very average. The breakfast juice sat there for days, no one drank it, when I tried it on the first day it tasted like it had expired days earlier. Overall, I would recommend this place for the price paid and I would definately vome back again. Thank you to all the staff. Beautiful :)

The location is excellent, just at the border of the Old Town. Therefore you avoid the street noice from tourists at night. The Hotel has its own shuttle to the beach, for free, and the beach is never over crowded, you can eat lunch there. You can also book a number of tours right at the hotel desk, which is reasonably priced and convenient. The one day tour to Ban Na Hills was pretty amazing. Just the 5.8 Km cable car, worlds longest, was worth the trip. Hotel staff is always kind and helpful. We took a cooking class there which was fun. Air conditioner works great in all rooms. We stayed for 10 nights, maybe a little long, considering the heat at this time of year, and the amount of tourists crowding the streets at night. But the old town is adorable, and full of little restaurants where you can discover a fusion of Vietnamese and other cuisines. Will definitely go back there again.

A nice quaint hotel in Hoi An. I stayed in the penthouse suite, it was nice but not as spectacular as the web site pictures. There was a pool on the ground floor and it was tiny, not sure it if was for adults, but I did not try it. The location is excellent, within walking distance of dining options. The old town is about a 15 minute walk, but it is a pleasant walk. I dined in the restaurant once and it was good/excellent.

Overall, a nice hotel that is reasonably priced. I recommend this hotel.

Nice, but there are some downsides.

My room was pleasant, the view to the river was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice with a soaking tub and a spacious shower. Location was also great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. On the less positive side, breakfast was uninspired. I had difficulty finding anything that I really enjoyed eating, including the made to order breakfast (though I didn't try all of their offerings so maybe other things were better). Wifi was very weak, even in the common areas. The hotel itself has potentially attractive spaces, but the decor and paint could be updated. The pool is small and oddly situated by the front desk/lobby, which makes it feel way too public - like you're on display and not just to others in the pool area, but to anyone who happens to come into the lobby, use the elevator, etc.. As a result, I didn't use the pool, nor did I see anyone else use it the whole time I was there, though it should have been very enticing given how hot it was!

This is my second stay at this great hotel.
Conveniently located close to old town.
Great friendly staff that are always helpful and cheerful.
I had forgotten items in room at departure time and front office staff had it dropped to Da Nang for me.
Can't thank the staff enough for their efforts in getring it send to me.
This allowed me not to worry and to continue with my holidays.

We came with friends and one of them sits in a wheelchair. The entrance to the lobby was not convenient as there are many steep steps. However, the hotel staff brought the ramps and helped all out to push the wheelchair up and down the ramps throughout our 2 nights stay in the hotel. Thanks to Miss Tai and the few guys who helped out.

One the other hand, my luggage came in the next day from the airport. Thanks to Miss Ngoc who had called the airport and followed up for me on the delayed arrival of my luggage.

Overall, the service of the staff in this hotel is very good. Besides that, the hotel is just a few minutes walk to the Ancient Town. Highly recommended for a good stay in this hotel.

I had booked and fully paid for a deluxe double / twin room with river view. According to the photo attached to the booking confirmation, it was a room with a balcony and french window running across the full width of the front, giving the room a full and clear river view outside. Moreover, it was supposed to have a glass-partitioned bathroom. However, when I checked in at the hotel, I was given a room on the second floor without a balcony and no river view at all. In fact, that room was surrounded by a coach car-park outside. The staff tried by different ridiculous pretexts to convince me into accepting that inferior room. Finally, as I insisted on having the kind of room I had already booked and fully paid for, they had no alternative but gave me the room I was entitled for. May be they wanted to sell my room at much higher prices to walk-in customers. No matter what was the reason behind, I think their way of doing business unscrupulously dishonest.

A beautiful boutique hotel perfectly situated next to the Old City but quiet and peaceful. Excellent service. Our room was very spacious with comfortable bed and linens. Bathroom had both a large shower and soaker tub. Room 501 has the best view in town.

Unfortunately the hotel had problems with drainage during our stay and some in our party had to stay in a sister hotel. They compensated us with the offer of a free evening meal, which was badly served and not of a high standard. This hotel is in a great location and staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location, great place.

Great place to stay, with coffee making facilities & full set of toiletries unlike some hotels of this range. Great value for money, super friendly& helpful staff: Hahn & Phuong etc make us wanna go back again.
The only slight hitch was the inability of the mixer to mix cold & hot water in our room. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the old town Hoi An, everything is within walking distance.
The hotel itself ok and not bad value for money, breakfast again was ok, nice comfortable bed and nice spacious room.
All the staff are nice and friendly and always there to help.
Only problem I found with the hotel was that upon arrival we had ordered a room overlooking the River with a balcony, reception informed us that we had a free upgrade, arriving into our room we soon became aware that our \"upgrade\" was to the lowest floor in the hotel with no balcony and hardly any river view.
I would recommend requesting a higher level room as floor 2 isn't best views.

Staff are very nice, however we booked a junior suite and the room they gave us on the 2nd floor reaked of cigarette smoke. They claimed not to notice and said they didn't have another room the first night so we had to request a diffuser because I am allergic. We were moved to a smoke free room the next day and the staff apologized. Also, the neighborhood is very noisy due to a bar nearby playing thumping music. I love EDM but it was out of place and too loud for relaxing. The rooms that face away from the canal/front of hotel are less noisy, my friend was in one of those on the 5th floor.

This hotel is just by the river, awesome location Hoi An old town in less than 5mins walk across the road. The hotel is very beautiful with very cozy swimming pool. The breakfast is nice right by the lobby with a few choices to choose from. Hotel staff will bring you up to your room for check in and it's really an amazing place. Will stay here again if I'm back in Hoi An.

This hotel was in a fantastic location just minutes away from the Old Town and Night Market. Good breakfast each morning with many options including an egg station. The pool was very small so if you are looking for somewhere to sit at the pool all day this may not be the place. If you are in Hoi An to see the sights - this is a great spot. The staff are so friendly and helpful as well.

Great hotel

The hotel was located within a few minutes walk of the Old Town and night markets. Plenty of restaurants, bars and spas close by. An ATM was on the nearby corner. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. I will be back

Very convenient location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and Old Town.
The staff were really friendly and always remembered our names.
Buffet breakfasts were good with lots of variety.

Great location great service

1 min walking distance to old town. Very good service. Provided baby cot for us and even have a birthday surprise. Excellent service. Thanks to everyone there!
