The staff was extremely friendly and the room was huge!! I didn’t expect so much space which was lovely. My only complaint was that it could have been cleaned better. The were quite dirty and floor needs a proper cleaning not just a sweep.

Maybe a bit of a niche problem, but they did not provide enough pillows. We had 3 guests in the room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Both beds only had 1 set of pillows each, leaving us with 4 pillows for 3 people. When we asked the front desk for extra pillows they only gave 1, and actually said no when I asked for 2. I’m not sure why they were limiting the number of pillows, but considering there were 3 guests, why was the number of pillows uneven?

On the flip side, we wanted to discard a broken suitcase, and the concierge took care of everything. He just took the suitcase from us and arranged for disposal.

Room was great and the jacuzzi bath is a must to use and relaxing but takes a while to fill up. Very clean but seems to be the Korean way. Staff at reception was great and helpful. Metro station is 5 mins walk and quick to get to landmarks.
Only problem with my room really was the window as it shows a newly built block literally few feet away.
Other than that would book again

The room was bigger size than most hotel rooms and the staff was amazing. Helpful and very nice. Honestly will be my future stay each time I'm in Seoul! We stayed 15 nights and they include laundry and only cleaned our room when we wanted it cleaned.

Hotel Loft exceeded most of my expectations. The room itself was quite large, and the exposed brick gave it a unique flair. Service was great and my room was expertly cleaned every day. And the location was terrific — close to the subway and a ton of restaurants, convenience stores and other stuff. Would stay again if I were going back to Seoul.

This was one of the most unpleasant hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The room reeked of cigarette smoke the moment I walked in, and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting — it smelled strongly of both urine and cigarettes. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained, and it felt unhygienic to even use the facilities.

Since it was just one night, I reluctantly kept the room, but the experience was unacceptable. What made matters worse was that the hotel made no effort to address the issue, offer compensation, or even acknowledge the problem. The complete disregard for guest comfort and cleanliness is shocking.

I would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel. There are plenty of other options where basic cleanliness, respect for non-smoking rules, and customer care are actually taken seriously. This property clearly does not prioritize its guests.

Lofts hotel boutique is right in the center of many things , trains , subways, buses and 30mins away from Gympo international airport on line 5. Hotel is very well designed, modern, clean and high class location with many restaurants, coffee shops. So it is one of the best locations without high cost for stays. Hotel is very classy design, small petite but very unique and beautiful inside out. Just little small front desks , small waiting rooms and the front desks customers service not very comfortable to engage conversation with foreigners customers. Beside of that need to improve then the hotel is highly recommended.

This place is a gem. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to the premium suite and everything was so nicely placed - very appealing aesthetic. The staff was so helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was good and has self-serve tea and coffee. It's also close to subway stations. The surroundings seemed safe and pleasant.

Excellent location! We didn’t try any of the food at the hotel since we were so close to so many restaurants… but the hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are spacious. Sleeping was very comfortable and the tub is as well. The only downside was the hot tub jets didn’t work, only the bubbler did.
It’s really easy to get around from the hotel so if you want to explore Seoul, this is an excellent place to start.

You can tell the property was old, but the room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The bed was very comfortable so I slept well even with early morning construction noises just next to the hotel. The room was dark even during the day, but I was gone most of the time do it's fine. The bathroom lights shut off on it's own after 30 min or so. I had to turn it back on if I was getting ready in there. It was close to bus and train stations, markets, and restaurants. They do charge for ice. Overall, it was a decent stay in one if the better rooms I've stayed in.

The hotel probably was nice 20 years ago, it real is a dump. No assistance from staff with my luggage, staff English was terrible, very hard to communicate with them. My room had stains on the wall, the hotel really needs to be cleaned and updated.

It was great to stay at Hotel Loft. The location was excellent since I could easily access subway lines 9 and 2. The room was very clean, and overall, everything was good. However, there was construction going on right behind the hotel. They started at 7:30 am every morning, and it was annoying. But other than that, everything was great.

I had a good time with this hotel and it would be one I'd consider using again.

The staff I interacted with were helpful and friendly and able to help with an issue I had with my room.

The first room I had there was an issue with the bathroom. After speaking with staff they were able to change my room.

The room was maintained well by the cleaning staff who were very friendly.

The staff are lovely, I can’t stress enough that the following review doesn’t reflect in the staff but the owners! The rooms a good size and it’s close to public transport.

But there is building work on 3 sides, construction sounds start at 7am and this is long term work that will go on for years.

Whilst the rooms are relatively clean, the duvet covers had holes in and are clearly needing to be replaced. The free load of washing came back with some of my items discoloured so whoever the company they use are, they have never heard of a cool wash for mixed colours.

The jacuzzis have the large jets turned off for safety reasons. Also when I booked it said I would have an outside patio or balcony. There was an inside patio style area in my room but definitely not outdoor patio or balcony. In fact there is no area like that on 3 sides of the building so this was false advertising.

The outside area out the front of the hotel would be so much nicer if they put a mosquito repellent out there. I got 40 bites sitting out there with friends in one night. My legs were a mess.

As others have said the rooms are very dark. I used one of the lamps angled towards a mirror to do my make up as it’s so dark, you can’t do it otherwise.

The bar and restaurant closes at 3pm and not late night as it says and the menu very limited.

There are signs celebrating NYE for 2yes ago on the building.

I feel like the owners have stopped caring and it’s just the staff doing the best they can.

I did enjoy my stay at the hotel the staff are very helpful, even the cleaning staff despite English not being their first language we were able to communicate with the little Korean language I could speak. The receptionist and concierge are also very helpful and courteous. I know we foreigner are used for hotel staff smiling we have to be mindful that southKorea is different when it come to this they don’t smile that’s much but them mean well and will great you when ever they see you. I also want to thank the staff that helped printed my homework he was extremely helpful.

The only down side is that they was a construction beside the hotel I got to be aware of it after booking the hotel but I decided not to cancel as I feel they noise won’t be too much since the rooms were sound proof, the minibar is not the same as you expect it to be and also the lounge closed down.

Will I lodge again yes I love the location and hotel.

I stayed one night in a Jacuzzi room and my only regret is I didn’t stay longer. HUGE room and the jacuzzi could have fit four people! The staff was pleasant and the amenities were so that you wouldn’t have to bring any toiletries.

The property is just a few blocks from a subway line (be sure to download Naver to get around, as Google doesn’t work in Korea).

I’d absolutely stay here again without batting an eye. Definitely a great break from the “party districts” like Iteawon or Hongdae but still close enough to get anywhere rather quickly.

- Solo traveler in my early 40s (but a couple would be VERY happy here).

I really liked that the rooms has dedicated space for spa. Spa room is very spacious. Bedroom and bath area was also nice. Several minus things are: it’s quite dark overall. It’s hard to read something; No cutlery. Didn’t expect it to have full knives and forks, but at least something. Even no tea spoon; and doors of toilet and showroom is almost transparent. Very satisfied with the overall experience.

It was a fancy and clean hotel. The building itself is not big, but the room is very spacious. Ten story building and there were only about 4 to 5 rooms per floor. It had privacy, and was located near dangsan subway station. I could hear some people talking on the streets a night but other than that I am very satisfied with this hotel’s all amenities.

Everything were amazing, except that, the water was not flow smoothly into the drain in the bathroom as it had a blockage in the drain. Hope the manager can fix that, as it is supposed to be a basic thing in every hotel. And also the wifi sometimes, did not function properly and in korea it supposed not to happen actually.

We book the hotel in Seoul in the very last minute for a Hari Raya getaway, so there weren't many options available in the main Seoul spots, the hotel has been a great surprise , Beautifully designed hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms , in a nice area to stay in Seoul, even though is a bit far from what it is consider the city centre, the hotel is located around 500 meters from line 9 and line 2 so it is very well connected by public transport, there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the area,

Rooms look great but very uncomfortable stay

I chose the suite room mainly because I wanted to enjoy the jacuzzi and it was a couples trip. The design of the room was definitely 5 star, with very hip style and beautiful decor. But very sad to say, it was VERY uncomfortable staying in that hotel for 4 nights. First, they have a sensor light near the door, that was broken or too sensitive, it was close to the bed. Which meant throughout the night, the slightest movement during our sleep would suddenly turn the lights on in the dark making it impossible to sleep. Second, the shower drain did not work/almost completely plugged throughout our stay. The water will not drain after a shower, had to wait close to half an hour before the water from a 5 minute shower would drain. Lastly, the air-conditioning seemed to be broken as well as it was freezing in the room at all times. Despite there being a controller and us setting the temperature to anywhere from 26 - 33 degrees to try and warm the room up, the room was still constantly iced. Staff also spoke nearly no english at all. All these factors made it so hard to have a comfortable stay, despite the nice jacuzzi and the lovely decor. When I first saw this hotel and the pictures, I was so excited as the amenities and rooms aesthetic looked beautiful. I wondered why it is rated a 3.5 star hotel. All I can say is after this stay, I can fully understand why. I would really not recommend this hotel.

This was our 3rd stay at Hotel Loft and it was exactly what we hoped for :)
Friendly staff, close to 2 main subway lines and many busses, clean and comfortable rooms (with complete amenities - don’t worry if you forgot your toothbrush, they have you covered!). We were pleasantly surprised to discover they renovated to add a mini-kitchenette in the room we stayed in. They seem to put a lot of thought into their guests comfort - we really appreciated everything and cannot wait to come back again!

Hotel Loft has a cosy feel once you step into it; the warm decor of its reception area, the polite staff and comfortable room. Checking-in and checking-out were hassle free.
Our refrigerator was replenished daily with complimentary drinks; 3 bottles of water (as there were 3 of us), a bottle of sparkling water and a can of beer.
Staff were responsive; they put in a standing lamp as we wanted more light in our room and ensured our TV was fixed when it didn’t worked one evening.
Hotel is conveniently close to eating places, coffee outlets, bakeries and convenience stores, and about 5-min walk to Dangsan Subway (Lines 2 & 9).
The stay ended nicely with a complimentary taxi ride from the hotel to the airport as we stayed for 7 nights. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Will definitely stay here again! Staff speak English and are extremely nice and helpful. The rooms have air conditioning and the beds are very comfortable (both huge pluses in Korea). 5 minute walk to subway line 9 and 2, bus stops all nearby as well (including the airport bus). Coffee shops, shopping, tons of restaurants all in walking distance. 5 stars!!!
