The room was spotless and well organized, and the space was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The location is excellent, close to everything I needed. Ciel Suites was great, the room was very nice, well lit, comfortable and modern. The front desk was very welcoming and pointednthe sites tonus on a map and recommended food places and rooftop bars for us.
The Ciel Suites are ideally located about 20 min walk from the Acropolis site and right in the middle of the fun about a minute away from Monastiraki plaza, Metro and Hadrian's Library archeological site.

An average hotel in an excellent location
The location is excellent as many reviews mentioned. It is close to Monastiraki Square with plenty of restaurants/cafes and shops within 15-20 mins of walking distance. During our stay, we could hear an annoying beeping sound from outside the window at night. We believe it's from a shop alarm nearby. Another issue was that the AC struggled to keep the room cool if we left the room more than a few hours because the room power was turned off with the room keycard removed. As far as the services go, the staffs were nice and helpful, but the in-room tea bags/coffee pods were not refilled daily. Btw, the airport shuttle service was nothing more than a taxi arranged/booked by the staffs. IMO, it should not be considered a shuttle service. So it's a bit overstated as a \"main amenity\".

Easy access to the main attractions in Athens. Ciels is surrounded by restaurants, shopping & cafe. Staff are friendly & nice. Room can be a little small if you have big family. But overall its good nothing too concerning

The property was close to Monastiraki square, only 2 blocks! We were also surrounded by rooftop patios with the famous view of the Acropolis. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We also liked that the hop on/off bus stop was right int the square and we were only steps away from the hotel. The staff were so accomodating and helpful. We had trouble with our phones and required to book seajets to the islands, the staff offered to call for us. I highly recommend this hotel! Fabulous price too.

Overall experience was great! Perfect location for anyone travelling for the first time to Athens. The staff were helpful and kind from the moment we arrived, hotel and rooms were clean, spacious with standard amenities needed. The terrace a few steps up from our hotel room, was like having the luxury of an outer space in the suite to be outside but away from the busy streets. Big thank you to Galeda and her colleague (wears glasses), so lovely and hospitable from our first encounter and contributed to the wonderful stay we had!

We also got excellent food and site recommendations from two other staff members (didn’t catch names, sorry!). Even the cleaning staff checked in that the room was OK when we popped back briefly during the day, which really shows you the character of the team here.

We stayed this property during off season and it is located right in the main park of the city - walking to the parliament and steps from a view of the Acropolis. It was a quiet retreat from so much activity and entertainment going outside when you need a break. Steps away from the hop on hop off bus. staff were stupendous and so helpful and cheery

Quaint little eco-themed boutique hotel in the madness of Monastiraki. Sandwiched between Syntagma and Monastiraki stations so lots of transport options around the city and to the airport. Room is bigger than expected and sparsely yet smartly decorated. There's no closet but a neat little fixture to hang your clothes up on. In-room safe, modern climate unit and a fantastic bathroom with amazing lighting. No lobby area and the elevator is very timy but the staff is young and genuinely sweet, always saying hi and giving recommendations. This hotel added to my experience in Athens and I would stay here again.

Great boutique hotel near Monastiraki Square. Close to al the mass market shopping like H&M, Sephora etc. But also close to a local flea market featuring antiques. We used the hop on hop off bus that we were able to catch at the square or at the Parliament near by. Easy walk- about 15 minties to the Acropolis as well. Staff were great at suggesting things, arranging for taxi on our way to the airport. Room is clean and spacious. The only thing was the shower- using the main rainfall shower head spread water all over the floor. We found using the hand held shower handle was the only way we didn’t get the whole bathroom wet. Nevertheless, we would return because the location is perfect.

Bit loud at night, but what can you expect in the middle of a capital city! If you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Staff were great, gave lots of recommendations of places to eat and made sure we had plans of how to get to the airport for our ungodly early flight.

Ciel Suites Athens is a great choice if you're looking for a convenient, comfortable and quiet/private stay. There are only a handful of rooms and all are very well equipped. The staff are super friendly, helpful and very attentive to their guests. I would highly recommend a stay at this property. My only piece of feedback would be that the rooms could use additional storage. There wasn't a closet, dresser or other drawers in the room I book. Other than that, this is a standout property in the heart of Athens. You won't be disappointed with Ciel Suites.

Really enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel and would highly recommend. Property is centrally located to everything you are going to want to see and is just 1 block from the metro station at Monastiraki Square. I arrived prior to the scheduled check-in time and they happily stored my luggage for me and had it delivered to my room prior to my later return. FYI... Based on other reviews mentioning the entrance being hard to find, I tried to find it ahead of time on street view in Google Earth, but couldn't as the photos were older. The property was actually easy to find with adequate signage. The only issue (minor) is that the door is perpetually locked, so they had to buzz me in before I had my key.

Room are very clean and with spacious Bathroom. Has a handheld and rainfall shower heads. The only thing that is lacking is closet or drawers to keep our clothes away. Although the room has hanging ledges to hang our clothes. Has a mini fridge and coffee and tea pot. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Athens. They even called our taxis for us. The shower/bathroom that we had was a see-through and the sliding door made a lot of noise. Not the best option for sharing a room. The fridge didn't work either and made a lot of noise. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.

They were very nice and even offered to store our luggage after we checked out until we went to the airport.

We were about to head out to the airport around 3:00am. Then we realized that we left one of our carry-on bags in the room and the key card as a part of early check out instruction/process. We locked ourselves out and panicked because there was no staff on the property during the night as we were informed.
Anyway we managed to make a call and got help asap. I didn’t get the name of the staff who helped us over the phone. She was the best!!! Thanks 👍

Wow! This place is just amazing located at all historic sites & food places. The room is well kept, clean and quiet. For about 10mins walk you are at the entrance of the Parthenon, Temple of Zeus and other sites. It is only 2 mins walk from Monastiraki Square & 8 mins walk to Syntagma Square. Tylixto Traditional Pita is also close by and every food is amazingly delicious. Starbucks is 1 min walk. We will definitely come back!! And the staff are friendly and helpful as well. Great job ladies! :)

Lovely, excellent staff. Clean and comfortable suite, particularly with the private balcony. Easy proximity to all the major attractions, even for walking. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends
