Kensington Hotel Yeouido Seoul is very convenient to get to from Incheon Airport as there is a 6007 airport limousine bus stop right in front of the hotel.
It's also a 5-minute walk from National Assembly Station on Line 9, and there are several city bus stops around the hotel, making public transportation very convenient.
There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores around the hotel, and Yeouido Park is nearby, making it great for walks.
IFC Mall and The Hyundai Seoul are also close by, making it convenient for shopping.
In anticipation of the upcoming Christmas season, the lobby is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The staff are friendly, and the room cleaning is done thoroughly every day, which is great.
I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room for 6 days, and the room size was quite spacious.
The view from the window was honestly disappointing.
The most inconvenient thing was the bathroom. There was no shower curtain or shower door in the bathtub, which made showering very inconvenient, and since the bathroom had a wet-room design with tiled floors, it was uncomfortable to stand barefoot because my feet got cold.
Compared to the impressive exterior of the hotel, the room was honestly not very good.

Even though I only stayed for one night, this hotel left a truly lovely impression on me. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff welcomed me with such kindness and care, and their thoughtful explanations made me feel instantly at ease.

The room was cozy and peaceful, with a wonderfully comfortable bed that allowed me to fully relax after a long day. Thanks to the excellent soundproofing, the night was calm and quiet — just what I needed.

I leave with a grateful heart and a sense of comfort, and I already look forward to the day I can return here again. Thank you for such a pleasant and restful stay.

The hotel’s location is excellent and the Airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel which is very convenient for the airport users. The staffs were very kind and helpful. Overall I really enjoyed staying there. I will consider to use it again next time visit to Seoul.

Internet environment needs improvement

Overall it was a decent property.
Gym was very small and unusable. I don’t think anyone actually uses them. Better to just have few dumbbells than have non functioning cycles.
Bathrooms have horrible smell. Hotel was kind enough to switch me over to different rooms but they all smell bad. One room had horrible smell coming from the AC vents.

Kim Bohyun at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She gave us a free room upgrade and answered all questions we had. Plus she had to deal with our super heavy luggage twice! She was a star.
Hotel room was nice, if small. It had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the Han river plus the airport limousine bus stop was right outside. Wish we could’ve had more time at this great hotel.

It’s old charm from inside. Clean and comfortable. Dint like the AC being centralised, not able to adjust in the room. Room was pretty warm in April. Had to ask for fan and it was given. Hotel being 4/5 star I don’t expect to use fan or ask for iron board.
Buffet brekky was excellent for the price. Friendly staff and service.

A Pleasing stay

I had a 2 night stay. The hotel was clean and rhe staff was very helpful. It was next to Hankang park so I was satisfied with all these restaurants at the back so it was all perfect. I just didn't like the black and brown paper of the walls. It gave the rooms a bit of a dark and gloomy look but a part from that everything about this place is pleasing.

Good hotel especially for sweet lovers

The hotel is in the business area but front facing rooms have nice view of the river, bridges and other part of the city.

The room and bathroom were pretty clean and spacious.

There are two American style restaurants on the ground floor. One of them is extensively decorated, and serves as the frequent place for shooting of the popular Korean drama serials.

The only issue is the quality of their service, and it's not about lack of smile. Let me give you a couple examples.

I came to breakfast area 30 min prior to their closing. There were not spare caps for tea/coffee. I asked the girl who seemed to administer the process. She checked first if my complaint had any merit, and after some absence came with ... plastic cups.

I've got permission from the reception to check out 2 hours later. The cleaning lady checked on me twice during that time, and got visibly puzzled by my presence in the room after check out time. Eventually, she brought another lady and I got a call from the reception. The person sounded surprised that I would check out at 1pm as agreed with his colleague but did accept that.

Last but not least. The block behind the hotel is occupied by numerous cafe. Besides US chains (Starbucks, Coffee Beans), there are locals. So, if you have a sweet tooth - this hotel is for you :)

The staffs are always very friendly and professional. Check in and out is always smooth.
However, I booked and paid for the executive floor where is more expensive than the standard room, and which the breakfast is only available at the executive lounge, the food choice were just very little, only 4 hot dishes, very bad. and I stayed in this hotel for many many times and the internet connect is getting worst and worst , the TV also , discounted in every few mins, it is very unacceptable.

This is a great hotel in a very nice location in Seoul. The building is beautiful, and its neighborhood has wonderful patks, riverside walking trails, and great restaurants. Excellent service too. Very friendly staff. We would definirely return here for our Seoul visits. We stayed for a total of 11 nights at this hotel in June

The staff were all very accommodating in every language. I can speak Korean, but for more complicated conversations, I do default to English and they were able to handle that no problem.

We did have a little bit of a hiccup during check-in: If your legal name is Korean, they may end up putting you into their system in Hangul using your Korean name. This is what happened to me and so when they were trying to find my reservation in English, they couldn't find it. But when they looked for my name in Hangul, there it was.

The room was spacious and clean and the location is very convenient, but the air conditioner was busted for our room so it got VERY warm at times and that was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. Since we had a very short trip and a very busy itinerary, we didn't check out any of the other hotel amenities, but we had a comfortable stay otherwise, so no complaints.

There's a very convenient airport bus that goes straight to and from the hotel to Incheon, so that was also a bonus.

Don't judge a book by it's cover

There was one little light for the entire room. My wife and I had to use the bathroom light and keep the bathroom door open to light the room. The fan system didn't work so we had to keep the window open. We were glad it wasn't summer or we would be really hot and sweaty. The sheets on the bed were dirty. The hotel offers to wash the sheets if you pay for it. We assumed that no-one before us paid to clean them, and that they don't wash the sheets between quests because no one pays. It was very nice looking but not comfortable at all. The beds were also very stiff.

Too hot in the room with no practical way to turn it down. They should have the heat off and let each room turn it on to their pleasing. Not comfortable and had to check out early and move to another hotel. Staff did all they could to help. Rooms are just so old, no frills and breakfast is just ok.

贅沢言うとシャワーヘッドが小さくてショボいのでもう少し範囲が広く浴びられる物だと良かった。

룸은 클래식한 유럽 호텔 느낌이 있고 청소나 방 관리 상태는 좋았습니다
헬스장 기구 종류는 많지 않은데 신형에 깔끔하게 관리되어 있고 전체적으로 가성비 훌륭했습니다
