The hotel was overall good—great location, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff. However, the condition of the room was a bit disappointing. There was noticeable dust on the lamps and in the corners, the drainage in both the sink and shower was poor, and the lighting was quite dim, making the room feel darker than expected.

Arrived early, the staff accommodated our luggage till check-in. Room was very spacious and the bathroom was elegant. Room was spotless and fresh. Subway and bus stations are less 2min walk away. We’d return in a heartbeat for our next visit.

My stay was okay since this wasn’t my first time here, but the experience felt sharper than expected, almost to the point where I wasn’t sure I’d want to return. I received a call shortly after 11:00 reminding me of checkout, and while I understand the policy, the tone felt rushed and a bit impolite. Being told there would be extra charges if I stayed past 11:20 came across as unnecessarily strict.

I believe it’s important for customers to have a consistent experience from check-in to check-out. Checking in was great, but the checkout experience left me questioning things.

Again, they don't let their guest use their gym between 6am and 8am, and between 12pm to 1pm and between 5pm to 10pm. This is absurd. If these times are blocked, when can I work out? They do this because they are running other paid PT classes during these times of the day. Then they should let this know in advance. I would not have booked this place if I had known.

Spotless clean facilities; our room was comfortable and quiet on the 14th floor, despite facing the street.
The staff is polite and professional, always ready to help.
The breakfast options are absolutely worth it - from Asian to European style, there is a wide selection of food of your liking.
Located at the Yeouido district and right by a metro stop, it is ideal because it feels like close to everything. If you use public transportation, the Airport Limousine Bus #6007 stops right across the street from and to the Incheon Airport.

Terrible. Gym blocked for extensive (and the most popular) hours for personal training which for sure woukd generate more rev for the hotel but definitely drives away business travelers like me. No steam iron (there is the basic non steam iron provided with a water spray bottle). How much are the steam irons these days? 20 bucks? They even cheaper it out for that.. No glad ever for me.

This hotel was perfectly fine, but not outstanding. The national assembly subway stop is literally across the street from the hotel front door. About 50 m away. The room seem to be a little noisy from other activities in the hotel or from outside. The soundproofing didn’t seem to be very good. I booked a corner room thinking I would have lots of windows, but really had just one small standard window on one wall and the other wall was blank, so no extra windows in a corner room

During my stay, the presidential election was taking place, which made things even worse. Every morning starting at 7 a.m., loudspeakers blasted repetitive announcements that I couldn’t understand—but I believe they were related to the election. It was incredibly noisy and disruptive. On the last night of my trip, there was a massive political rally right outside the hotel, with thousands of people gathered and loud music or speeches going nonstop from 5 p.m. all the way until 4 a.m. I couldn’t sleep at all.

Combined with the poor conditions and lack of basic service, I absolutely would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel, but 30 min from Seoul Station & Myeongdong area. We found ourselves going back and forth from this area during our 3 day stay in Seoul. On our 4th day we stayed at a hotel nearer to Seoul Station to get back to the airport in a timely manner.

The area around the hotel is very quiet. There’s some nice restaurants within walking distance but some close early if there’s no one there, so make sure it’s open if you plan on going. Overall, the property is beautiful, modern & classy but to be so far from the “busy” part of Seoul was a bummer. If you want a suburban feel & things to be quiet then this is probably for you.

Check in was a hassle. Very strict with 3pm check in, we arrived 2.20pm and said we are not allowed to check in yet even if room is ready. I asked for reconsideration, front desk agreed to 2.30pm and asked me to wait. So i literally stood in front of the check-in counter for 10 mins just to wait for 2.30pm to hit, then they allowed us to be check in.

That is poor customer service for me, it is unnecessary to be that strict if you're in the hospitality business.

Hotel is clean and new.

It has a speakeasy bar on the ground floor.

Hotel was great and the room was very nice. Tons of dining options that are all nearby. There’s a subway station basically across the street. Cabs as always around too if you prefer that mode of transport. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The only issue with the property is the carpets in the area leading to the rooms on my floor should probably be replaced. It’s coming up in areas. Minor detail.

I stayed for 2 week at this property and it was great! The service was very nice and they were very helpful when it came to any questions I had about the area or transportations. The place was always clean and very close to multiple forms of transportations. My only bone to pick was that I couldn't control the air conditioning. I was HOT at night but opening the window fixed that issue so no ruined trip there. Other than that very nice hotel

Staff are friendly, fast/efficient and helpful. Subway station is right outside the front door for line 9. No wash cloths for American tourist so bring your own; they do provide bath sponges. The heat and air are controlled by the hotel so the room was warm but we requested a fan and the windows open so that helped. Water bottles are provided daily for free and cleaning staff were great! We enjoyed our trip and would stay again!

The Glad hotel is a great place to stay if you don’t want to be in downtown Seoul. You can catch the metro nearby but otherwise there aren’t too many attractions within walking distance. The deluxe king is a great size!

Meh. Check-in and out processes seemed very rigid... Paid for 'early' check-in even though a room was available, lol... Missing a lot of the finer touches of higher end accommodations (though to be fair, they do not charge or position themselves as five-star). Soundproofing sorely lacking. Basic room footprint seemed a bit cramped. Buffet was nothing special. Everything seemed a bit DIY. Useful as a base for 'Han River' activities but would not recommend staying more than a day or two.

Comfy hotel, with a metro station right out the front. Near a big park on the Han river, and also one of the major high-end malls too. Close to the national assembly, so there is the constant megaphone protesters and other trappings of democracy going on too, which I just find interesting, but can impinge on sleep-ins!

Great location! Quiet comfortable room. We had no view, just the building beside but we spent our time walking along the river and sitting by the river.
We really enjoyed the breakfast. Would be great if breakfast went just a wee bit later but it was ok.

The room was extremely dark overlooking an office meeting room, and we were charged 22,000 won extra for a blanket request, which turned out to be additional duvet. Although the hotel is clean and warm, I doubt I will be returning to this hotel
