Very clean and safe hotel. Spacious room.
Excellent shower.

Booked as a solo traveller and for some reason received a (small/narrow) single person duvet on a double bed. Made sleeping very uncomfortable and cold.

Hotel a la carte restaurant was closed, only a buffet available.... Was very poor quality food and also not cheap.

Comfortable stop for the night

A bit in the middle of nowhere, but a pleasant place for the night. Clean and good quiet location, with good breakfast for the price paid for the room. Staff could use someone who spoke English. However, perhaps it would be difficult to recruit a younger person as staff in this area. It made travel more interesting.

The hotel is ok. The only problem was - when we came it looked nobody at the reception was waiting for us. The keys were not prepared and it took hotel workers 45 minutes to give us our keys. It looked like we caused them big trouble coming to a hotel. No excuse, no explanations.

Great Hotel that tries harder

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, even providing Google Maps printouts to the local castle that can be seen just across the motorway,

Room was a bit dated and tired but quite comfortable. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast quite good with lots of voice including sausages, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, and lots of different corals.

Not much do in the vicinity and decided to drive to a nearby town for dinner. Hard to find. Place that's open. Hotel does have. Restaurant but it was buffet so not something we wanted....

Friends in Apfelstädt

This is an excellent hotel of great value for money. As we were visiting friends locally we did not have dinner either evening of our 2 night stay but lunch on the second day was of highest standard and on a par with that of first class hotels. Great choice for breakfast.

We only used the Hotel as an overnight stopover, but found it to be as expected.
The evening meal in the restaurant was first class and the service matched this.
My only criticism would be that we were put into a room used previously by smokers, as we are both non-smokers, this caused some discomfort. We were unaware that we could have requested a non-smoking room on booking, since smoking is generally not allowed in rooms in hotels in the UK.

Good location for access to Erfurt Germany

If you are traveling by car this is a good alterative to city dwelling. Very friendly staff, excellent food at reasonable prices, east access to major route to Erfurt and surrounding locations. Room comfortable, only downside is charge for hotel internet access.

Sehr enttäuscht...

Wenn man an der Rezeption ankommen, steht dort ein Rezeptionistin, die schwer erkältet ist und Ihre Bakterien verbreitet.
Wir haben zweimal im Restaurant gegessen und beide Male wollten wir unser Fleisch medium gebraten. Aber anscheinend hat der Koch keine Ahnung was „medium“ bedeutet, beide Male kommt ein halbes rohes Stück Fleisch heraus - Aber am letzten Tag gab es eine kostenlose Tasse Kaffee.. Großartig!
Und es ist wichtig, das Schild an die Tür zu hängen, wenn Sie möchten, dass Ihr Zimmer gereinigt wird. Leider steht dort nicht, dass Sie das Schild bitte an die Tür hängen sollen, wenn Sie KEINE Reinigung Ihres Zimmers wünschen.. Warum voll nicht?!!. Und Sie müssen Deutsch lesen können, da das Hotel sich entschieden hat, den Text nicht auf Englisch zu verfassen!
Das gleiche Szenario wiederholte sich beim Auschecken. Nun gab es noch eine andere Rezeptionistin mit einer schweren Erkältung, die, um zu sehen, ob sie die Gäste möglicherweise anstecken könnte, bevor sie weiterzogen sind.

Hunde im Hotel - ja, nicht im Restaurant - ist OK, Begrüßungssnak für den Hund - Prima Idee, zumal mit Kotbeutel ujnd örtliche Hinweise!.
Comfortzimmer gebucht - mit Fahrstuhl im 2. Stock, aber ohne Balkon oder Terasse, wie zugesagt. Der Hund war traurig. Gut ausgelastetes Hotel.
Im Restaurant waren abends die Speisen im Verhältnis zur Portion etwas teuer, aber man macht ja Urlaub ---- Frühstücksbuffet sogar mit Räucherlachs .....

Das Hotel kann ich sehr gut weiterempfehlen. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Es gab Duschgel und Shampoo im Bad. Frühstücken konnte man ab 6 Uhr. Das Büffet war sehr reichlich. Sehr gute Anbindung zur Autobahn. Bis Erfurt oder zum Flughafen sind es keine 20 Minuten. Die Lage des Hotels ist in ruhiger ländlicher Lage.

Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Gebühr 5 Euro.

Einziges Manko: es gibt keinen Kühlschrank/Minibar auf den Zimmern ;-(((

Fijn ontvangst, vriendelijk personeel. Ruime keuze bij het ontbijtbuffet. Horeca personeel erg vriendelijk!

Bij uitchecken gastdame wat minder vriendelijk,dat vonden we wat minder plezierig.
De accomodatie had onze gegevens niet in het systeem staan, geeft Expedia deze informatie niet door?

Al met al prima hotel, schone ruime kamers, goede bedden, prima ontbijt.

En dårlig oplevelse i baren , skygger over ophold.

Godt ophold dog med en skygge , da et besøg i barområdet med børnene hvor vi skulle hygge med kortspil blev ødelagt af en sur og irriteret bartender som var synligt irriteret over at skulle betjene os og det samme skete for den næste gæst.

Schöne Überraschung nach 5Jahren

Wir sind nach 5Jahren wieder gekommen.
Das Zimmer war sehr schön renoviert und sauber.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das leckere Frühstück wurde „corona konform“ serviert.
Wir erholten uns in bereitgestellten Liegestühlen im Garten von der langen Autofahrt.

Gutes Business Hotel

Zimmer war okay, kleiner Badezimmer mit gute Dusche und sogar ein Spiegel der nicht beschlägt.
Bett war auch gut. Kaffee, Tee und Wasser aufs Zimmer.
Das Internet ist sehr langsam, streamen von Video oder TV nicht möglich.
Und man hört leider sehr viel von außen im Zimmer. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Mitte des Hotels (121)
Was ich, im Corona Lockdown, einerseits toll aber anderseits komisch fand: das Restaurant war geöffnet und man konnte mit 2 Personen am Tisch normal essen.

Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt ganz schön. Was ich schade fand war, das auf meine Kritik nicht wirklich reagiert wurde. Wir hatten Business Zimmer gebucht und zwar die renovierten, auf Nachfrage wurde mir erklärt das die Zimmer erst nächstes Jahr renoviert werden. Hotelseiten wie Ihre sollten sich da besser informieren, ehe sie mit diesen Fotos werben.

Hotel, Zimmer und Bad war sehr sauber. Der Hoteleingang war ansprechend mit Blumen dekoriert. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten ein Buisinesszimmer gebucht und hatten eines der kürzlich neu renoviertes Zimmer erwartet. Wir waren in einem sehr sauberen und ansprechenden Zimmer und haben uns dort Wohlgefühlt. Wir können das Hotel weiter empfehlen und würden selbst auch wiederkommen .

Das Hotel ist in seiner Gesamtheit nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Hier wurde die Cashcow zu lange gemolken ohne zu investieren. Das Haus muss vollständig renoviert werden. Hier regiert der Charme der 90er. Die Zimmer sind zwar weitestgehend sauber, aber an allen Ecken sind Flecken an den Wänden. Immerhin haben die Zimmer einen Flachbildfernseher, dieser ist aber so auf Ecomodus getrimmt das man verzweifelt die Helligkeitseinstellung sucht. Das Frühstück ist lieblos, es fehlt z.B. an einem Kaffeevollautomaten. Dann bitte vom Namen Erfurt im Hotelnamen nicht irritieren lassen. Das Hotel liegt 22 km von der Erfurter Innenstadt entfernt, parallel zur A4

Dieses Best Western Hotel wird gerade modernisiert (Stand. 11./12.04.2019). Das Zimmer war neu, hervorragend ausgestattet und einfach top!
Das Restaurant ist gepflegt, jedoch im nicht modernisierten Zustand. Qualität war im Restaurant dennoch vorhanden, sodass ich das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.

In jeder Hinsicht ein empfehlenswertes Hotel

Tolles Hotel in dieser Preislage. Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer sauber und einladend. Ruhige Umgebung. Trotz \"einsamer\" Lage mitten in einem kleinen Dorf, sind es nur 20 Minuten Autofahrt bis Erfurt Zentrum. Gutes klassisches Frühstück. Dieses Hotel bietet alles was man benötigt inkl. netter Atmosphäre. !!! z.Zt. scheint das Hotel kleine Renovierungsarbeiten unter der Woche durchzuführen. Direkte Nachfrage beim Hotel über dessen Umfang wäre vielleicht sinnvoll!!!

Schönes Businesshotel in der Nähe zur Autobahn gelegen. Nach Erfurt Innenstadt ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Zimmer gut eingerichtet. Badezimmer sauber aber etwas kühl gestaltet. TV in guter Qualität. Internet gibt es kostenlos die Grundversorgung, wer mehr will muß bezahlen. Das finde ich heutzutage nicht mehr passend. Frühstück ok. Das der Parkplatz bei der Abrechnung 2€ kostet ist nirgends ausgeschildert und empfinde ich auch als frech !

wie jedes Jahr, stand der Erfurter Weihnachtsmarkt als 1.er auf unserer Weihnachtsmarkt Tour.
Leider ist das Hotel nur schlecht mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.
Der Glühwein musste ausfallen....
Frühstückt ok.... da habe ich bei vielen Aufenthalten in Best Western Hotels schon wesentlich besseres gehabt...
Preis Leistung war in Ordnung.

Fließend warm Wasser leider Fehlanzeige. Entschuldigung vom Personal leider Fehlanzeige. Eines der unpersönlichsten Hotels in denen ich bis jetzt Übernachten durfte. Fehlendes Personal am Frühstücksbuffet das einem einen sauberen Tisch zuweist. Leider war die Abgrenzung hier nicht ganz klar.Auch ein freundliches \"Guten Morgen\" wäre toll gewesen.
