Amazing location!

The location of the hotel was perfect, right at the Kramerbrucke, the hotel is modern and tasteful and the rooms were perfect. There was limited and very tight parking at the hotel, but the sister hotel car park is only a short walk away. The friendly staff and great food also added to a fantastic stay in Erfurt.

We loved this hotel located right at the Merchants' Bridge. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the staff was helpful. The experience was enhanced by a gourmet breakfast. The lobby was comfortable and inviting where we could sit and hang out with friends.

the hotel was in an ideal location.

paid for a room with a balcony but was allocated a ground floor room with a balcony that was overlooked by a car park so that was disappointing and not what i expected.

room was nice though and although a little basic was very clean, comfy and practical

Erfurt is a delightful place! This hotel, we stayed in the old section above the Gera River, is a perfect location to see the history- great for Martin Luther walks.
The only thing I didn't realize was that the old section doesn't have an elevator and for older folks with luggage, its a challenge. However once we got up the flights to our room, everything was very nice.

A lovely town with everything you could want.

Well situated hotel right on the edge of the old town, plenty of places to eat nearby, fantastic town for sightseeing despite this just being a convenient stopping off point on our route. Also plenty of retail shopping if that’s what you like right next to the old town.

This was my last visit to this hotel

- airco was not effective, it just recircuited hot air
- only one key per room occupied by two people
- hotel only accessible till midnight
- control of lights was all lights on or all lights off
- big screen TV was not usable, the only sofa positioned in such a way that you look at the screen sideways (30 degrees (iso 90 degrees))

great location, however, they charged me a fortune for a very small room with a balcony, which I did not need, it was December, the room also smelled of cigarette smoke. Apparently they smoked underneath my window and the cigarette smoke came into my room.

Wunderbar gelegen direkt in der Altstadt, Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar. Super Frühstück, Rezeption rund um die Uhr besetzt. Im Moment wird gerade ein wenig an den Außenanlagen gearbeitet, muss halt auch mal sein, aber keine Lärmbelästigung. Wir konnten unser Doppelzimmer schon gegen 11 Uhr beziehen und hatten sogar eine Badewanne!

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach klasse: Gegenüber von einem schönen Biergarten, direkt neben der Krämerbrücke. Beim Frühstück sollte man den Empfehlungen des Hotels folgen und nicht zu den Stosszeiten gehen - dann ist das Buffet schon sehr eng.

In der Altstadt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Schönes Zimmer in gutem Zustand. Freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstück. Auch für Teetrinker ist an alles gedacht. In der Tiefgarage konnte ich mit dem Kompaktwagen gut einparken, mit einem großen SUV ist es ggf. schwieriger. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne mal wieder.

Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg positiv aufgefallen. Das Frühstücksbüffet fand ich sehr gut, reichlich Auswahl, gute Produkte.
Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es fehlt ein Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

dürftige Auswahl an Wurst es war nicht ausreichend nachgelegt wurden. Konservenobst wohl möglich gewesen nach dem Aussehen braunes Wasser.

Der Aufenthalt war allen in allem gut
Das Zimmer im Haus zum Roten Turm
war gemütlich aber ein bischen abgewohnt der Zugang zum Zimmer roch permanente wie der Abzug einer Küche und war ohne Aufzug was aber im Prospekt beschrieben war. Der Weg zum Hoteleingang und damit zum Frühstücksraum ging im Außenbereich durch eine Gasse was bei gutem Wetter reizvoll ist bei schlechten Wetter eben nicht.

Nur die Lage ist gut. Das Hotel an sich ist nichts besonders. Es gibt noch mechanische Schlüssel und keine Hotelkarten. 2 Schlüssel waren auch auf Nachfrage nicht verfügbar. Frühstück war nicht dem eines 4-Sterne-Hotels entsprechend. Bilder weichen vom Hotelzimmer ab und sehen zu gut aus. Ich würde das nächste mal ein anderes Hotel buchen.

Gutes Hotel in Top-Innenstadtlage

Lage des Hotels ist top, direkt bei der Krämerbrücke, wo im Sommer abends auch was los ist. Auch Restaurants gibt es in der Umgebung reichlich. Nicht beurteilen kann ich, ob die nächtlichen Versammlungen auf dem Platz vor dem Hotel in lauen Sommernächten die Nachtruhe stören könnten, da ich das Zimmer hinten raus hatte.
Hotel ist gepflegt und sauber. Die Matratze war mir persönlich etwas zu weich. Leider hatte die Klimaanlage etwas Mühe in den warmen Nächten. Nach Auskunft des Hotels soll es in naher Zukunft eine neue Anlage geben.
Frühstücksbuffet war gut.
Grundsätzlich war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Klimaanlage ist nutzlos, bei Hitze keine gute Wahl

Das Hotel ist an sich ok und liegt toll. Ich habe es gewählt, da es laut Website klimatisiert ist und aktuell Temperaturen von über 30 Grad herrschen. Die Klimaanlage war jedoch de facto wirkungslos. Das Hotelpersonal hat sie mehrfach neu eingestellt und angeblich funktioniere sie. Sie hat jedoch nur ziemlich laut warme Luft in das Zimmer befördert. Es war die gesamte Nacht stickig und heiß. Bei warmen Sommertagen ist das Hotel eine schlechte Wahl.

Das Hotel lebt einzig und allein von seiner guten Lage. Das Personal ist bemüht . Zur Ausstattung des Hotels kann man nichts sagen da es keine hat . : (
Die Vergabe der 4 Sterne ist absolut ungerecht gegenüber den anderen Hotels die es verdient haben .

Wir waren direkt auf der Krämerbrücke. Der Gastrogestank im Treppenhaus aus der Gaststätte im Erdgeschoss, ist in einem 4* Hotel nicht akzeptabel.

Die Unterkunft, Personal und Frühstück war spitze. Schlecht war der Service an der Bar (wenn man davon überhaupt sprechen kann ). Die Bar wurde vom Restaurant mit betreut. Personal war sehr unmotiviert und schlecht geschult. Ich hatte ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss ( laut Hotel Basic). Dort befand sich die Anlieferung. Ab 6:30 Uhr war die Nacht zu Ende. Das schlimmste aber war, dass vor meinem Zimmer Mitarbeiter/ Handwerker rauchten. Echt ein absolutes Unding. Meine Beschwerde wurde höflich und verständnisvoll von der Rezeption angenommen.

Keinerlei Anfahrtsbeschreibung auf der Website. Wenn man nicht genau die Straße in das Navi eingibt, steht man mitten in der Fußgängerzone!
Schönes Hotel sehr toll und zentral an der Krämerbrücke gelegen. Man ist sofort zu Fuß in der schönen Altstadt Erfurts. Direkt gegenüber des Hotels ein Biergarten. Wer ein Zimmer zu dieser Seite hat und gern bei offenem Fenster schläft, muss mit Lärm rechnen. Sauberkeit gut, die Teppichböden in den Zimmern miefen schon etwas.
Hotelpersonal weitestgehend freundlich, ausgenommen abends an der Bar. Eine Dame, die durchweg nur pampige Antworten erteilte, vor allen Dingen bei Gästen mit anderem Dialekt.
Teilweise war das Barpersonal überfordert oder man musste es suchen.

Wir hatten gleich bei der Buchung viele Wochen zuvor um ein Zimmer mit etwas Blick gebeten und bekamen eines direkt auf den Parkplatz mit einem Schutthügel. Der Umzug in ein schöneres kostete uns 20Euro für eine Nacht? Um 9.20 zum Frühstück, das bis zehn Uhr geht. Ein total leer ausgedünntes Büffet, das nicht mehr aufgefüllt wurde. Gekochte Eier kalt. Rühreier ungenießbar kalt. Schneidebrett für Vollkornbrot blieb leer.Kaffeeautomat defekt, man könne sich einen Stock höher etwas holen, so nur Kannen. Birchermüsli Schale leer. Nirgends Bio, kein Bezug zu regionalen Erzeugern, kann man so heute ein Vier Sterne Hotel sein.Der Ort ist genial, ein Geschenk, doch diese Gastlichkeit drückt das nicht aus.

Erstes Zimmer hatte Speckkäferbefall (Schädlinge für Kleidung, zerfressen natürliche Materialien), zweites Zimmer war nicht gereinigt. Es lagen auf dem Stuhl diverse Krümel. Auch das dritte Zimmer war in den Ecken nicht gesaugt, das Mobiliar abgewetzt und diverse Spinnenweben. Diese auch im Frühstücksraum.
