Check in was efficient. Room had Lovely view of Barfusskirche and weather that allowed for open windows. Easy walking distance from Bahnhof (even with heavy suitcase), and the delightful Kraemerbrueke. Somewhat loud on the street at night but not too bad. Room was very clean. Breakfast room was sunny and well staffed with bread, eggs (boiled or scrambled), all kinds of cheese and meats, jams, honey, and several types of tea. Standard coffee machine that produces standard coffee.

The parking out front is not for guests, but for people who live in the area. Guests park below the hotel is a VERY tight parking garage. Having said that, the hotel is very well-located in the old town and all major historical sites are within an easy walk.

This was a businesses trip but i still had time to looks around. Erfurt is very beautiful and clean city, everyone is very polite. The hotel is on excellent location, calm street, walking distance to most of best pubs :)

Great place in exceptional old-city/pedestrian zone location, with humble room comfort and not too spacious either, but totally fine when just using to put one's head down at night. Friendly service and nice atmosphere overall. Very good bang-for-the-buck.... would go again anytime.

Hotel close to the Altstadt..

Great location just a very short walk to the center of Old Town with all its history and conveniences. Also walkable to the Bahnhof and shopping.
Hotel is comfortable and clean with a decent breakfast and a small bar. I believe Ibis
is a great value for your money.

This hotel has good central location, it isn't too far to walk from the station or to the other attractions in the city centre. Rooms are a bit on the small side. There is a city tax to pay on top of the cost of the accommodation

One of Ibis's best hotels, great location

Perfect location, new large purpose built hotel, but reflecting the historic architecture of the local are, which you don't often see in new builds. Good ammenities, very nice staff, easy parking at a competitive price. One of the best Ibis hotels I have ever stayed at, so would thoroughly recommend.

Not the best Ibis I've stayed at

Quite a large town somewhat off the tourist trail but we'll worth visiting. Hotel not the best Ibis I've been in. Beds hard, room smaller than expected. Hotel halfway between rail station and town centre, some 7.minutes walk. Pre booked and paid beforehand only to be asked for tax on departure. Beware since on pre payment never met this before

Easy to find on the SatNav just keep an eye out for trams!
Very easy check in with parking under the hotel. Clean and serviceable rooms. Right in the heart of the Altstadt next to the Fischmarkt with all the sights and restaurants close by.

location was fantastic, close to the altstadt and easy to get to. The rooms were quite small but clean, the a/c was rather bad and I had to ask twice for an iron. Would stay here again but not for a romantic weekend.

NIce location, but difficult to find and park

The hotel was nice, modern and clean, and the staff was helpful. The location was great, because it was within walking distance of all the sites we wanted to visit. The biggest problem was driving to the hotel and parking our car. It took us about 2 hours once we reached the city to find the hotel and find a parking place for our car. Once we did find the hotel, the hotel parking lot was full, which led to a long, unpleasant effort to find \"nearby\" parking. Besides the parking issues though, I would recommend this hotel.

I was slightly surprised to be allocated a Room which was for disabled guests, I will be returning to the Hotel in October 8th and 9th for the IKA Culinary Olympics so would appreciate if I coukld be allocated a standard room.

Basic hotel, but very comfortable

This hotel is fairly centrally located in the city of Erfurt, just a few minutes from the main thoroughfare and just off a busy shopping street. There was no noise or disturbance despite this. The decor and size of the room was nothing spectacular but for a two star hotel it was more than acceptable. I would stay there again, as it's only a short walk from the railway station, the staff were pleasant and it was the perfect base for exploring the city.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der unteren Etage. Dies war angenehm temperiert. In den oberen Etagen sind die Zimmer sehr warm. Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Ausstattung typisch Stadthotel. Sehr sauber.
Frühstück war sehr gut. Schön auch mit Außenbereich.
Entfernung zum Bahnhof 15 Gehminuten und zur ltstadt 5min.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Leider ist es in die Jahre gekommen, die Betten sind nicht mal einer Jugendherberge würdig. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, aber mehr auch nicht. Ein Hotel das in der Landeshauptstadt liegt und für seine Wurst Spezialitäten bekannt ist, da hätte ich mir mehr typische Waren auf dem Buffet gewünscht.

Alles war eigentlich super... Zustand war nicht 5 Sterne, aber alles gut und ordentlich und sauber.
Leider gab es in meinem Raum 137 nur Verdunklungsvorhänge und keine Gardinen o.ä. also Sichtschutz trotz
Tageslicht. Da umliegende Gebäude nicht so weit weg waren, musste man allerlei Dinge im Dunkeln (mit Lampenlicht) machen, trotz hellichten Tages. Schade.

Im Stil einer Jugendherberge der 70er Jahre

Der äußere Schein trügt leider: innen eher wie eine Jugendherberge, auch die Zimmer! Stil der 70er! Im Vergleich zu gleichteuren Kettenhotels wie Motel One zwei Sterne weniger und eindeutig zu teuer! Falsches Zimmer bekommen, dann keine funktionierende Klospülung, dadurch der 2. Zimmerwechsel um 23h. Mit Flüssigkeiten beschmutzter Fahrstuhl wird stundenlang nicht registriert und gereinigt. In Erfurt fehlt eindeutig Konkurrenz im Bereich 65-100€-Hotels, dann würde dieses Ibis wohl leer stehen!

Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert.

Innerhalb des gesamten Aufenthaltes (3 Tage) nicht einmal das Zimmer geputzt. Frühstücksraum ist eine Katastrophe und auch viel zu klein. Frühstück für 12 € im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis viel zu teuer.

Die Lage des Hotels ist zur Erkundung der Stadt zu Fuß ideal. Personal ist stets sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.
Besonders positiv ist uns die Doppeltür zum Flur aufgefallen, dadurch Flurlärm nicht zu höhren. Außerdem hatten die Fenster unseres Zimmers Aussenjalousien. Top!
Frühstücksservice haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Het hotel is gewoon een super goed hotel en het inchecken ging nog sneller dan de dat de lift beneden was ;-) Hilarisch was de dochecabine in mn kamer. Deur draaide naar binnen, als je er dan instapt kan deze bijna niet meer dicht bij gemiddeld postuur, laat staan dat....

Ik kan boeken vol schrijven over bijzondere hotelkamers en wat binnenhuisarchitecten verzinnen om alles zo efficient mogelijk in te richten voor een goede prijs/kwaliteit

Ik maak altijd fotos van grappige situaties en plaats deze op mn social channels ter illustratie van mijn vele reizen.

We (hotel personeel en ik) hebben er met zn allen om gelachen, want verder is er niks mis met dit hotel.

Sehr einladend

Der Aufenthalt in Ihrem Hotel war sehr schön. Es wirkt sehr einladend. Auch das Personal ist supi. Was ich einfach in fast jedem Hotel bemisse, ist eine bessere Schallisolierung (Nachbarn). Ansonsten hat mir alles gut gefallen. Ein Wasserkocher auf d. Zimmer wäre noch wünschenswert.

Es war viel zu heiß.

Das Hotel liegt super stadtnah, so dass man zu Fuss oder Rad Erfurt ansehen kann.Wir hatten extra wegen der Klimaanlage gebucht und genau diese ging nicht. So war bei fast 40 Grad Schwitzen angesagt. Schade.

Das Hotel würde bewusst wegen der klimatisierten Zimmer ausgesucht. Obwohl schon vorher bekannt, würden wir erst beim Check in darauf hingewiesen, dass die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert. Auf die Frage, warum dies denn nicht auf der Homepage vermerkt wird, würde uns gesagt, dass wir es doch jetzt erfahren und die Zimmer ja nicht nehmen müssten. Und dies nach 5 Stunden Anreise. Eine Reduzierung des Preises war ebenfalls nicht möglich. Wir sollen uns an Expedia wenden(???). Ein Schlafen in den Zimmern war kaum möglich, da es bei geöffneten Fenstern zu laut war. Unterhalb des Fensters befand sich ein Aufenthaltsbereich (laute Gesoräche bis tief in die Nacht) in dem auch geraucht wurde.

Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück und zentrale Lage in der Altstadt .Guter Ausgangspunkt für Stadtbummel und mit der Straßenbahn kommt man schnell und bequem überall hin👍👍👍Ein Minuspunkt ist die schlechte Erreichbarkeit des Hotels mit dem Auto ( Anreise ) für Ortunkundige ein schier unmöglich zu lösendes Problem, 20 m vor dem Hotel versperren Poller den Zugang . Die Einfahrt von der anderen Straßenseite ca. 3-5 km Umweg , den ein Ortsunkundiger unmöglich finden kann . Hier sollte dem Hotel seitens der Stadtverwaltung die Möglichkeit gegeben werden dem Hotelgast die ungehinderte Zufahrt zu ermöglichen !!!!
