I just have to express how utterly dissatisfied/disgusted with my stay (or rather not stay) since we left because the room was so disgusting that we could not stay. First when we arrived we couldn’t check in. There was a note saying be back in 15 minutes so we had to wait around for someone before we could check in. This was after the 3:00pm check in time. Next I reserved a king room and was told there was only a double room available. We get to the room and there was not a clean surface in the entire room. Floors were sticky. The one bed was propped up by a cinder block. The chairs were stained with god knows what. The freezer was caked with ice that was stained with what looked like blood, like someone had frozen meat in there that leaked all over. The pillows and pillowcases were disgusting. It smelled of smoke even with it being a non smoking room. I wasn’t expecting a five star resort but did expect conditions good enough that I that could sleep there. Instead, we choose to drive home 4 hours (getting home at 3:00am) vs staying there. I have never, in all my years of traveling, left an hotel/motel because I was unable to stay due the conditions. Deplorable.

WORST HOTEL. Dont stay here!!! We had to leave and book another local hotel. Stains on everything. Very strong cigarette scent. Dirty, outdated, smelly, sketchy, DISGUSTING, bugs in the bathroom. We stay in a lot of hotels and we have NEVER seen anything like this. Its cheap for a reason!!! Save yourself the discomfort and stay at the Day's inn up the street!!

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but I’d feel terrible not warning people.

This place is a HARD NO.

The parking lot felt unsafe.

The first room they tried to put me in, you had to fight the door to get it to open and close and couldn’t tell if it was locked.
The attendant changed my room without any issues and he did seem interested in doing his job well, but this building is a disaster
Carpet in the room and in the hallways was beat up, torn and stained.
Windows were filthy.
Lots of weird stains and hooks and holes in the walls
Only 1 light near the bed had a light bulb.
The refrigerator had condensation all on the inside and smelled.
The toilet clogged easily.
The bathroom sink had stains and residue built up
Every mirror was dirty with spittle marks
The shower towels were stained.
The bed was on wood that extended out about 6-8” on each side so everytime you’d get off the bed your leg would hit the wood.
There was no way I was sleeping in that bed. I put my own personal blanket down over the comforter and used my own beach towel and my sheet. I just couldn’t wait to wake up so I could leave.
They wanted $190 on a Friday night but thankfully the cancelled my reservation bc of a burst pipe. Sunday night was $90 which was still tough to digest.
In conclusion, this was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t want to touch anything in the room! And I took my valuables with me when I left for a few hours. I’m embarrassed that I stayed here.

Woke up in the morning to a cockroach on the ceiling in the bathroom and you could see babies on the counter in the bathroom. The bathroom sink took forever to drain after washing hands. It was just a place to lay our heads before getting back on the road, but cockroaches were not in our plans.

For the rate that i paid it was well below any sort of standards i thought a hotel would have. The facility as a whole was filthy, and deteriorating. The grounds and parking lots were littered with trash, among other things, and there were several instances where i just felt unsafe. I've paid a third of this price for a room in other places and never had quite this level of a bad property.

I’d rather sleep in my car.

I came to NY to move my mom back to PA and this was the only option I had that allowed her dog to stay. That was the only reason I chose this place to stay, even reading the negative reviews. It says it’s a smoke free facility but as soon as you walk in the smell of weed and cigarettes is present. The bed comforters had lots of cigarette burns on them 🤔. The bathroom had dead bugs everywhere. There was a hole above the bed my kids slept on that has wires hanging out of it. The Heater didn’t work. My husband, my kids and myself didn’t even sleep under the covers we slept on top of them and the pillows it’s like having nothing to sleep on. They are so thin it’s like sleeping flat on a mattress. People taking loud all night and even loud music was playing late at night. If you have a few extra bucks and don’t need to have a place for a dog stay at the place right down from it. We stayed there back in March and it’s much better. I would rather of slept in my car.

This Knight's Inn was a former Howard Johnson that closed in the 1980s and has never been updated. While the staff was pleasant, the hotel seems to be Section 8 housing, as there is a sign at check-in telling all that you must check out after 28 days no exceptions. There were padlocks on many Staff Only doors. No water pressure in the shower. We could not turn off the bathroom light. The furniture and rugs were stained and smelly. All vending had Out of Order signs and were unplugged. Breakfast was fruity cereal, white bread and frozen waffles with an open tub of margarine. A picture is available on request. We stayed because there sere no other choices in the area. It is the pit of despair. It should not accept travelers as guests.

This is property that seen better days. The bath tube was dirty and chipped and had some sort of caulking that was cleaned up after use and had dried. It was also moldy and dirty. The easy chair was so dirty and dusty it should be tossed. The door would no close unless it was slammed. Breakfast was stale honey Cheerios mixed with rice krispies and some other flake cearal. The sheets were clean which was a saving grace. My bath mat was worn and had holes in it. The outside was dirty and the area between the fist and second floor had unpainted plywood strips which were weathered and the plus starting to separate. Enough for one sitting. It is being used for longer term EBT which is but it should also not be for paying guests.

Truthfully the staff was very pleasant, the tenants were even pleasant nd respectful;yet, by 7pm i had extra , extra company in my room nd beds . So bad that i literally couldn't sleep. Yes im talking about the whole village of cochroaches took over . And the property manager literally came to my room to tell me that , since i checked at noon and was still there by 3:30 am that he refused Expedia to refund my money Well i checked in at 4pm not noonand i was on phone with expedia at 2:30 am got done with Carlos there , he even told me that he couldn't get a hold of the property manager. What more can I say that the owners of this establishment doesn’t know. The place is old, filthy, smells poorly, and is unsafe. I don’t know how the department of health allow this place to continue operating. It is clear they take no pride in the place. It was not worth the money they charged. This place sends a clear message that says, they don’t care about their guests. This place should be condemned, no amount of repairs can redeem it. It was a poor, poor experience and I would not recommend anyone stay at this establishment even if it was free. It is unsafe on so many levels.

In my experience Knight's Inn is a solid choice but unfortunately not here in Liberty, NY. The desk clerk is absolutely above and beyond with his helpfulness, knowledge and willingness, and I hope this doesn't affect him, but the atmosphere and accommodations are sub-par. It seemed like a drug den with shady clientele who were in and out all night, loud noises and fighting, shower has black mold and a bug (pretty sure a cockroach) running on the nightstand in the morning. Sorry, would have loved to give a different review. After checking in around midnight we attempted to sleep and were checked out before 7am. Waste of money and ill-kept.

I am in shock that this place can be rented out to anyone, the room provided to me could have been condemned. Peeling wallpaper, water damaged floors, cigarette smell, burn holes in the sheets,an air conditioning unit that looked like someone tried to fight it. The was a plentiful roach population as well. When I asked for a refund, I was told he would \"spray again\" for me, and that there are no refunds. Instead of arguing I left, and I ended up staying at the days inn around the corner, that was sold out on Expedia, but I rented directly at the property. This was a nightmare of a motel, and should not be rented on this site anymore. It sucks losing $90 this way, don't let it happen to you! Sleeping in your vehicle is the better option in this situation!

My recent stay at the Knight's Inn Liberty in Liberty, NY was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was not the hotel we had anticipated. The exterior looked like something out of a horror movie, raising concerns among my friends and me.

Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by a strong, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. It permeated the entire lobby, making it difficult to breathe. The presence of mold was impossible to ignore; it seemed to be growing in every nook and cranny. This lack of cleanliness and maintenance was deeply unsettling.

One of the most distressing aspects of our stay was the condition of the rooms. The beds appeared to be infested with bedbugs, leaving us scared and uncomfortable. The shower and towels were dirty, which further added to our dismay. It was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were not a priority at this establishment.

To make matters worse, the hotel seemed to attract a crowd of drug-addicted individuals. Their presence was not only concerning but also made us feel unsafe during our stay. It was an unfortunate and distressing atmosphere that added to the overall negative experience.

Amidst this nightmarish ordeal, the only silver lining was our visit to 17 West Brewery. The food was exceptional, and the service was truly outstanding. It provided us with a brief respite from the dreadful conditions at the Knight's Inn.

The lock to my door was broken and they had to use a crowbar to open it (twice). The light switch in the bathroom was broken, with wires exposed to possible water incursion. The rug was filthy and puckered. The bed frame was made from old plywood. The desk top was broken. A conduit for electrical lines had fallen from the wall and most of the wiring in the room was put together with extensions cords. The toilet had not been cleaned. The handle on the sink fell off. This is not really a motel; it seems like a crash pad for people down on their luck. The managers were nice, but clueless about maintaining a safe and clean motel room. I left after one night, even though I paid for two nights (no refunds). It was intolerable.

No key card for my room, so I had to use a key with a big padlock when coming and going. The door wouldn’t shut behind me when exiting, so the front desk called maintenance who improvised the door latch, which caused it to be in a permanent open position. Then the only way I could lock the door while in my room is with the interior slide bolt and small chain guard. This place is in pretty poor condition - you get what you pay for. The employees were friendly, but the place was scary! Ha!

This place is a dump. Everything from the carpet to the upholstery was stained. The bathroom was falling apart. When sitting on the toilet, it was unsteady. The grout in the bathroom was missing or filthy. There was rust on every fixture. I was afraid to take a shower.
The free breakfast was unpalatable coffee and old cereal.
All that said, the bed was comfortable and the TV worked.

In credible dirty. The worst thing was that the bedsheets weren't washed. Bathroom was dirty too. The toilette flush wasn't working. I decided not to take a shower. I used an extra shirt to cover the pillow. It was distgusting, unpleasant night! I hardly slept!

Good for short stay

The staff was great. They were very friendly and very helpful. The place was just understaffed.
If you are looking for a place to stay after an event or overnight while passing through they are a very reasonably priced option. You have what you need to sleep and clean up in the morning. For an extended stay you might want to pay more at a fancier place as the accommodations are basic as you would expect when choosing a low priced location.
We stayed after a concert instead of a long drive home. Then we left in the morning. The beds were clean and comfortable and that’s all we needed. They provided what we wanted and served that purpose well. Once they knew we would be there late they even told us the best place to park for good camera and security coverage. They tried to be the best they could.

This hotel is in terrible shape... broken furnishings, reeking of cigarettes and disinfectant, stained and worn carpeting and walls. The door to our room wouldn't close unless we shifted it in the frame. The TV worked, but the picture on some stations was discolored. A drawer was duct-taped shut, the shower curtain and walls were stained with rust and mildew. I didn't dare open the mini-fridge. The breakfast consisted of cereal and a jug of milk, bread or waffles and a toaster. Nobody was cleaning the tables and we could hear a loud discussion from the prep area behind the shutters. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, although I brushed some debris and hair from between the sheets. Our room had 2 full-size beds. There was insulation showing above the window and there was an unusable balcony with our broken screen laying on it. An old swimming pool was covered up behind the hotel. If I had checked reviews beforehand, I would not have stayed here, even though it was relatively close to Bethel Woods where we were attending a concert. We've stayed at a handful of dives in the past (pre-internet, before reviews were readily available), but this hotel was about the worst of them, Live and learn!

This hotel is a drug flop house. It is not open and the building should be condemned.
I only found out how bad and scary this was upon my arrival.

Just say no

If I didn’t need sleep before my drive back home, I would not have stayed. No idea how this place is open. Must be in code violations. Room was dirty in general and in disrepair, and had roaches and assorted other bugs. Not a good experience. Next time I would rather sleep in my car in a campground. This place should be shut down. Honestly too many descriptive issues to possibly name. Although the lobby you step in has nice clean tile floor. It’s sucks you in to believe the best. Nope.

This Inn was the worst experience ever!!! They need to be shut down. Roaches, mold, dirty sheets & the rooms smell like cigarettes. We switched to 3 different rooms and had the same issue in each room. We could not stay here for the night. We ended up leaving. Customer service was horrible!!! Very ghetto, dirty place to stay.

My girlfriend and I went up to a concert at Bethel Woods and planned to spend the night at The Knights Inn. Before we even went inside, we realized we made a mistake booking this hotel. There were a bunch of people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and smoking. People sleeping in cars. As we walked inside, there were two guys complaining to the guy at the front desk about someone pulling a knife on them. From there we went into the room. It reeked of cigarette smoke, the comforter on the bed looked dirty, the chairs next to the table were completely covered in dark stains, there was a stain on one of the pillows, your feet stuck to the floor in the bathroom, and there was dirt in all of the corners of the bathroom. When we left the room to go to the concert, I felt extremely uncomfortable. There we people wandering around and yelling. I’m pretty sure most of them lived there. I felt like I was in a crack house. Pr maybe I was. Needless to say we didn’t stay there that night. Totally disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Just One Night

Booked a room for one night for my friend and I for a concert at Bethel Woods. By far the worst place I have ever stayed. The Inn was sketchy from the start when a gentleman was leaving with his unleased dog and checking in another patron locked his friend in the laundry room.

Place seemed to house transients and other long term residents. The key I received was used to open a padlock that I had to kneel down to unlock. Room was spacious but not in the greatest condition. We had probably the cleanest room. My friend wanted to book another place immediately, but it was just one night.

We left for the show and the man at the front desk, was kind enough to wish us a good time. There were definitely other concert goers at the inn, which made us feel a bit more comfortable. Decided to barracade the doors to feel safer for the night. We woke at 6 and gathered our belongings, left the key at the desk to left.

Thankful it was just one night, would not recommend, find better accommodations.

they need to close that property and remodeling, is horrible, dirty since you enter to the building, the room SUPER DIRTY, the bed they never change the sheet, shower curtain dirty. THE BEST THING THEY OWNER CAN DO IS TO CLOSE DOWN FOR A FEW WEEKS AND REMODEL

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever seen

There were bedbugs, black hair in the tub drain, dirty socks under the bed, stains on the comforter, trash under the other bed. It’s completely unsafe to take your child to.

Unpleasant Stay!

This place was a total dump. It was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. There was food left in refrigerator from the last guest. There was also cigarette burn stains on the bathtub. The carpets were not vacuumed. There was a big hole in the ceiling in the hallway which had water pouring through. It was a very seedy place with sketchy people hanging around the property. I would avoid staying here at all cost!

The place is falling to pieces. Pool is broken. Water leaks inside due to rain. Big hole in the ceiling. Stains on the wall. Dirty bathroom. Smells bad. No glass to have a drink of water in the room. Wifi didn't work. Essentially the most decrepit place I have EVER stayed in.

Lets start by saying I knew it had a 2.8 rating. However, I did not expect there to be fallen ceilings, unsafe conditions outside, an unpleasant smell to the room, hair and dirt in the bed, rippled carpet which you can trip over, and an overall smell that seems to be with us even though we have left. When we arrived there were other people who had checked in that said dont park outback its shady, the lobby smells like cigarettes, and the place is a dump. Accurate.

Pleasantly surprised!

We chose this place because it was pet friendly and 10 o’clock, just needed a place to sleep. It wasn’t anything fancy by a long shot ,but it met our needs for the night. The room was clean , the ac worked great and it was quiet. It wasn’t too bad . The bed was very comfortable surprisingly!Coffee was good in the morning . Italian Restaurant right next door and easy to the highway . Can’t complain . Good overnight stay .

Overall the place was fine. The rugs on the stairs were dirty. the room was clean but the carpet needs to be stretched. The shower was great, plenty of hot water and clean. The breakfast was good, a little bit of variety.

We have stayed in this hotel before. It is the cheepest in the area and it has always been good, considering what we pay for it. But in our last visit, the bed sheets were drtiy and had old blood stains. We had to ask for toilet tissue because someone forgot to replace it and there seemed to be people staying in the hotel that were not travelers.

Worst place I've ever stayed at. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Two out of the three hotel staff I talked to were nice and helpful, which was the only good part about my stay. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the room, just so weird and not something you want to come back to every day. My room didn't come with a fridge or a microwave which was promised on the website. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but it is when you are working there for the week. The first night I slept there I pulled back the blankets and the fitted sheet had burnt cigarette holes, other stains, and tears all over. I got them replaced and the next set I got was better but still had stains which weren't worth complaining about but still gross. The second and third nights I woke up to someone yelling down the hallway from my room at 2, 3, and 6 in the morning. The only clear thing I heard from the man was something about a gun... after that, I should've just left and requested my money back. I decided to stay to avoid the hassle of moving all my work stuff to another hotel for just a night or two. The hotel breakfast was also terrible with very few food options, a broken juice machine, and no lids for the coffee cups provided. The last thing I'll complain about is the crowd that hangs out around the hotel at all times of the day. Didn't make me feel safe unless I was in my room with the door locked. Overall, don't stay here and spend your money somewhere else.
