Just wanted to inform you if your booking the Kartrite resort. The water parks 2 main attractions are closed from 2PM-3PM daily. Take it into consideration when booking as if your kids are in those 2 attractions they will be asked to leave.

Helpful staff. They need more staff as all of the amenities are not open because they do not have staff to run it. My room was GREAT! They need better communication with events in the hotel. This is all staffing issues. Sunday morning all the garbage pails were still full need grounds crew overnight to clean up the outdoor areas and the hall ways of debrie. Otherwise pretty great experience. The waterpark was very clean and well maintained.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL. I won't call it a resort, it doesn't deserve.

All lights in the room were out of order in the morning. No compensation, no sorry from the front desk. The staff first asked \"have you called the tech?\" Dude, I just got up and found lights broken. I need to went outside to buy food hence let you know first. They said this twice even if I told them the reason when I stop by the front desk. I'd imagine the first thing they should say is \"sorry for the inconvenience\" instead of blaming the customer.

The room was not so clean and was musty.

Everything except water park admission costs, which doesn't include in a $350 nightly hotel price. The water park only opens from 11am to 7pm, which is a quite short period. The water park is not so bad although it's small.

Definitely not visiting again. I would rather go to Great Wolf Lodge or pay more to fly to Florida.

The waterpark personnel are very helpful, the kids enjoyed all the activities at the the park, specially the surfing class, all instructors were amazing with the children.
The room was nice and clean.
I wish there was more activities kid friendly when the waterpark is closed.
The restaurants are ok. For some reason there was not enough staff at dinner time and the staff available were overwhelmed.

My room was not clean when we arrived. Dirty towels in the floor, candy wrapper everywhere and crumbs. Even when we asked for someone to clean it and to bring dirty toweled they still left garbage.

I liked the welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff at check-in. The facility had three elevators, making it easy to get around, plus a large two-section arcade that the kids enjoyed and plenty of outdoor seating for guests to relax.

The hotel has an on-site restaurant, but it was closed, and I wasn't sure if it ever opened during our stay, so we ate outside the resort.

The water park was smaller than expected. There was no wave pool—just a small pool, a few tube slides, and attractions geared more toward younger children than teenagers. The water park staff were very nice. Guests receive a towel card to exchange for a towel and must return it to avoid a $25 replacement fee.They close attraction 1 hour.
Our biggest issue was the room. We initially checked into a Junior Suite with a king bed and sofa bed, but it had a strong odor and we found a roach. After I notified the front desk, the staff quickly moved us to another room. In the second room, we had to call the front desk because the sofa bed had dirty linens. They sent the housekeeping manager to inspect it, and she arranged for someone to clean and replace the linens. The room was cleaner afterward, though it still had a slight odor, and was acceptable for our overnight stay.

Would I return? No. The kids had fun, and it was a nice one-night getaway, but they felt it was just okay overall. While we enjoyed parts of the experience, the room issues and small water park would make me think twice about booking another stay.

Also many of the attractions (water and dry) were either not open or we were told it would open much later in the day. Little dining options.

The waterpark was much smaller than I expected, but good for younger kids. Rooms were nice, bigger and nicer than Kalahari. Arcade bigger than Kalahari. Not as crowded as Kalahari. Clean room. Helpful staff. Family friendly. This place is a hidden gem. The waterpark is enclosed. Which makes a great case of bad weather outside. They do have a cool feature of a pool that goes inside and outside. The lazy river is absolutely fabulous. The slides are great. At 8 PM the fire pits go on. It’s a fabulous time roasting marshmallows outside. Great hiking trails too. I highly recommend this place. My family and I had a great time here. I will take them again.

It’s a good family resort but I think the stay is very expensive and on top of that you have to pay for everything, food, activities and arcade. Also I think they should have more entertainment included. They only had a movie night for children. It’s like the only fun and free part is the waterpark. After that if you don’t have money to spent on food and entertainment you have to stay in your room. The food is a pricey we had to order Uber Eats and go to closer town to look for cheaper food and options. I think the resort charge you a lot for er night to not include not even at least breakfast.

I would never book here again my dad passed away I wasn’t able to stay I canceled which they are saying they don’t see a cancellation in the system! Now I’m being charged for the full stay, customers service is rude and highly unprofessional! I feel dismissed and unheard I wouldn’t recommend this park to no one!

While my children thoroughly enjoyed their time and the front desk staff provided excellent service, I was disappointed with the condition of our junior suite upon arrival.

Unfortunately, the bathroom was not cleaned properly; there was garbage left behind the toilet, and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were empty. Furthermore, our garbage was not emptied at any point during our three-day stay. While I typically travel with my own toiletries, I believe that ensuring rooms are thoroughly cleaned and fully stocked should be a fundamental expectation for guest check-in. I hope this feedback helps you improve your housekeeping standards for future guests.

We loved staying at Kartrite. It was perfect for our 8 years olds to practice their independence. Very family friendly. Movie night at 8pm and other activities in the lobby. Restaurant food was pretty good as well. You could stay for 1 night and use water park from 11-7 on both days. Fun rides!

Our room was really nice, extremely clean. However, hotel was at 100% capacity, and there was an extremely small amount of staff in the water park. Not enough food staff, bartenders, or lifeguards. Rides were shot down for 30-45 minute breaks for the lifeguards to rest. And for memorial day weekend, when tons of people are there, that was really unfortunate to see. Garbage cans were overflowing, and there was literally no where to find a seat; way too many people in the water park, most definitely over capacity. I felt bad for staff that were there; they were clearly completely overwhelmed and had no support.

We went to eat, eat, eat restaurant for Saturdays breakfast. Other than the price being high for the low quality of food. The food itself was not good. French toast was frozen in the middle. Bagels were not fresh one was as hard as a rock. The wait time in the restaurant in the water park was crazy. Hundreds of people waiting for food and only 4 people cooking and prepping was crazy for a resort that was at 100% capacity. I called to make sure if a wave pool was on property and some representative said yes. My kids were very disappointed so with all of that we will not be returning. Especially at the same price Greatwolf and Kalahari charges.

Pros: Staff at front desk helpful. Waterpark-decent options for those less and more adventurous. Love the indoor/outdoor hottub. Some food options. Paid lockers available. Seemed Safe to let kids /teens go around without parents. Decently priced.

Cons: very strange for a waterpark hotel to not have enough room to hang up swimsuits n towels in rooms/bathroom (only 1 string in shower fit 1-2 persons stuff. Food overpriced and only a few options when there over feb break (thought more would be open- was high season?). . Lists various activities to do other than Waterpark but not enough (and pricey) to keep you busy more than 1-2 nights after Waterpark closes.

Would return for something warm to do in the dead of upstate NY winter.

Helpful staff, quick response to anything I needed, I had a last minute request due when I got there and it was granted and that I appreciate so much. It was my son’s birthday weekend and he enjoyed it so much. The waterpark was clean and amazing, I even enjoyed myself as well. They had a bar upstairs where no children could get too and that I appreciated. All in all I’m definitely booking another stay.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel’s customer service. I had an issue with my account, and the front desk kept avoiding responsibility, saying they couldn’t adjust the charge until another department reviewed the ticket. There is no direct customer service phone number — everything is handled through SMS and email, which made resolving the issue incredibly frustrating. Communication was slow and unhelpful. Honestly, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

The place has potential to be a freest resort site. Granted we went during What We assumed was off season. There was less people so it made navigating the place easier. A few of the amenities were closed during the day. A few of the water park rides closed during 2-3 pm each day for maintenance. The places needed more activities to keep the kids busy and entertained. Otherwise it's a nice weekend getaway for people with kids who love water parks and outdoor hikes.

We had a great stay at The Kartrite! It’s a very family-friendly place and perfect for a getaway with kids. The atmosphere was fun, the water park was enjoyable, and overall the customer service was good—staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved our room; it was comfortable and made our stay even better.

My only minor concerns were that on a couple of occasions, some areas or services seemed to close a bit earlier than the posted closing times, which was a little disappointing. Also, although I understand it’s not the administration’s fault, the hallways were quite noisy during rest hours, with guests running around, and the sound carried a lot, which did wake us up at times.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back, especially for a family trip.

My kids had fun but overall we expected better. The staffing and service was poor and slow. A HUGE long waiting lin t check in with one person at front desk. Same for everything else. Water slide lines went slow and it was clear this was due to understaffing at the slides. All the eateries and cafe's seemed understaffed with huge waiting lines on what everyone knew was to be a busy week/weekend. Activities (high ropes course and arcade) and various eateries lacked signage so it was impossible to know when things opened. Signage was terrible at water park so you'd have no way to know what tube to take up what staircase to go on which slide. Our last day there, virtually all of the \"pools\" areas to play other than the big slides, were closed indefinitely so we did not get to enjoy 50% or more of the water park the last day, and no talk of partial refunds!

I wasn't pleased at all the property has late check in and the park close too early at 7pm we couldn't access the park till after 5pm. Late check in to get room took too long and then park closes early. I drove too far 4 hours and kids where bored after park closes nothing to do around the resort. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR everything there and not too many options to choose from ...Dont think ill go back for the time we spent driving down there and not enough time to actually enjoy park
