The room was BEAUTIFUL. It was 2 walls of windows overlooking the Catskills, it was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the pool was lovely.
The room could have been cleaned better - there were wrappers on the floor and a lot of dust/hair in the bathroom.
There also is not a continental breakfast and the cafe downstairs is very minimal on what they offer.

Upon arrival, our room appeared beautiful but the bathroom had a chair in the middle of the room with a garbage can on it and another garbage can beside the chair. The bathroom walls had several large places with unfinished drywall mud on the paint. There were no towels. The floor and the sink were dirty. We had to wear our shoes during our stay. I advised the front desk. They apologized. The front desk clerk was a pudgy, bearded, middle age man with a flamboyant manner. When I reported about the condition of our room, he stated “ oh, that’s a new one I’ve never heard of”that one” before “. Insinuating I was not being truthful. I asked him to advise housekeeping and the manger. He said he would but we were not contacted by anyone. We were in room 621 on May 15, 2026.

I stay at casinos when traveling because they usually have the best security and amenities. I was disappointed room service was not available. After ordering dinner to go, in the cafe, I went to order a drink to go at the bar. There were 3 staff members behind the bar. They were talking about personal matters for the length of a Bible. One had his back turned to several customers and didn’t acknowledge them at any time. Very disappointed in the presentation of the property and lack attentiveness of the staff.

There is was no housekeeping to clean the room. We had to call front desk to get clean towels and while staying we emptied our trash cans daily. Honestly I am not sure how the hotel can justify charging the resort fees when I was the housekeeper during my 5 days stay. We did have Wi-Fi but that was the only perk that we received during our stay. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Could only find one restaurant in town! .Only 2 restaurants open on Monday and Tuesday nights in casino. Room very spacious and comfortable. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, thanks in large part to Julissa, the housekeeping manager, who was incredibly professional, attentive, and kind in handling my wife’s needs. A special thank you as well to Martin Santos for keeping our room clean and so comfortable. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view, and it was so nice lounging by the pool and hot tub. Food was good too. Overall our stay at Resorts World Catskills was relaxing and enjoyable.

We really enjoy coming here. Mostly for the quiet and scenic views. We love the separate pool area for adults only that's perfect.
The downside is that too many people violate the rules with little to no enforcement. You have to complain in order to get someone from security to enforce the rules. During one of my stays there were people who were escorted over to the very nice family pool section only to have them return once security left. Even though there are security cameras in the pool area it's not a priority or worse there's no one looking at them.
The other negatives are the food options. There's only one real family restaurant that's reasonable. The others are a scattered mix of Chinese food & an extremely high priced Steakhouse which has never been open during any of my visits because they seem to only be open on weekends. It's just bazaar that there's no where to get a good healthy normal meal without having to go off property. This is by far the biggest negative. Since the rooms lack a good mini fridge that actually gets cold & no microwave. Your forced to go elsewhere just to survive. This place is definitely suffering due to really bad management at the upper levels.
As much as we like this place, all of the positives are offset by huge negatives that prevent you from enjoying them. Thereby killing the overall experience. It kind of made us feel like a modern day 'Overlook Hotel' with a casino. Strange yet we come back to relax in peace & quiet & hope.

The hotel was very nice. The bathroom was very spacious and the room was spacious as well. However, the rug in the room had some worn and stained spot. There was only two sets of bath, hand and wash towels another set would have been nice. The issue we had was there is no clear signage or directions at the hotel area to let you know where to park, where to check in how to get to other areas within the hotel, how to get from one hotel to the other, no indoor connection no instructions or literature (pamphlets) in the room as to where things are such as the pool and fitness center. If there are lockers or changing areas for the pool, are towels supplied at the pool and if so where etc. The restaurants are limited as well as the food choices. No room service. Clearly this hotel has resorted to being more for the over night stay gambler than for a person seeker a longer term stay. Which is a shame because the rooms are very spacious and for the most part well maintained. Family oriented it is NOT so would not recommend anyone with children to stay here especially since this is more for gambling adults and no activities for children.

The resort itself is beautiful and offers great amenities, but my experience was disgraceful. I had an encounter with staff members that was unprofessional and concerning. The situation was handled poorly, making me feel singled out and treated differently because of my race. Staff could have addressed the matter with clear communication and courtesy, but instead it felt accusatory and unnecessarily escalated.
I even reached out to management for a response, but the situation is still unresolved. I tried to enjoy the rest of my stay, but I ultimately checked out early because it didn’t feel right staying there after that type of treatment. I tried to enjoy the rest of my stay, but I ultimately checked out early because it didn’t feel right staying there after that type of treatment. The security wouldn’t let me go back to the room to see my daughter, rather they went to the door, demanded my ID, and said do not open it for anyone while making me wait in the lobby for over 25 minutes to be let back up. It was the most unbelievable and abusive experience I have ever had.

$500 a night, no hot water on floor 14, we left at 5am, out all day and no one cleaned the room, made the beds or switched out the towels. I’m a hotel owner and I was not just disappointed but appalled by the service, quality, prices and conditions. It used to be very nice. Sad to see.

The room was clean and spacious. Check in was easy except they charged us for early check in which was fine however we still had to wait. No one came to clean our room during our 4 night stay except for one night, they showed up at 10pm. We were already in bed so it was a little irritating..
