We liked the elevated deck with comfortable chairs. It was nice sitting up there in the evening. The pool looked unkept so we didn't go in. The bed in our studio was not comfortable, it would be better to just put in a queen bed. The grounds keepers were friendly and polite. When we arrived in our room, the handle on the refrigerator was so loose, it was ready to fall off. We had to borrow a screwdriver from the office to fix it. That is something the cleaning person should have taken care of. And the lint in the dryer vent had not been emptied in awhile.

The room was laid out as expected. We booked a 3 bedroom for our family of 6 adults and 1 small child. We received 2 parking passes. I was not told in advance that the apt. was up stairs which proved to be very difficult for my husband and myself as we are handicap. I asked about handicap parking and was told that it was on the property. However, the entire stay, 2 cars were parked in the handicap spaces with no stickers and no parking passes visible. In fact most of the parking lot was full of cars with no parking passes. When it was brought to the attendant's attention, she appeared unconcerned and said there was parking available on the street. If i had know about the stairs and parking, i would not have book this location.,

The location of The Beach Club at Anna Maria is perfect, except for not being right on the beach. However, it was very easy to cross the street to get to the beautiful beach. We did not use the pool as we were as far away from it as possible and just as the something we wanted to tackle. The room was adequate but really needs to be brightened up. All the browns are depressing. If they made it more beachy colors, it would make a world of difference.

The unit we stayed in was clean and good size for 2 couples. The bathrooms were also clean but the water pressure in the shower was very low. The beach is right across the street which was nice and the rooftop veranda was a great place to relax and had a nice view of the beach. The hot tub was scalding hot but the manager added some water to it and it was better and useable. You can walk on the beach to several restaurants, such as Wicked Cantina and the Beach Club. Great location.

We spent several days at this resort, which is conveniently right across from the beach. It’s a small motel that has been updated on the interiors of the rooms, which are large and have all the necessary amenities. There is only 1 parking spot per room because it’s a very small parking area. There’s a small pool, but that’s it as far as amenities. The real value of the motel is the location. Aside from the beach, you need a car to drive to town and the grocery store. Beautiful little town. Would stay again, definitely.

Great location!! Literal walk across the street to the beach. You can see the ocean from the rooftop patio. The room was spacious and clean. My only complaint is the neighbors talking loudly late at night outside their units but, for a 2 night stay, it wasn’t the end of the world. We would stay here again!

The Beach Club is a nice smaller condo type facility- with 14 units. It is pretty quite and the unit we were in (14) was very nice. The location is pretty centrally located, with a few restaurants within walking distance (under 1 mile).
Some small improvements to the bathroom would be nice-- hooks for towels near the sink, and a soap dish on the sink. The bathroom could also use an overall painting just to freshen it up -but otherwise it was well maintained, and lots of towels are provided.
TV's are mounted flat on the wall- pull out swivel brackets would be nice so the TV's can be viewed more easily. Netflix's is available which is a nice benefit. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here!

Loved the hot tub!( every night!), very convenient. Very comfortable rooms & bed. Just perfect for us!Michael(the owner) very gracious & accommodating: I asked for 1 more towel( for my hair)& he provided without commentary. Later on when I opened the bathroom vanity I found a stack of towels, enough to last all week , changing every day! He must ‘ve thought I was crazy, but never let on. When we could not get WiFi , he readily offered us another room. Iloved the location right across street from beach and the deck on 3rd floor with ocean view. I’d stay here again & I will tell others about it .

The place was perfect for our stay on the island. The room was cozy and clean and had all the starter things we needed. Across from the beach was perfect for the early morning walks and sunsets. Close to the bridge if you needed tonget tonthe mainland quickly. Service was outstanding. My son forgot his wallet after we left and they are mailing it to us! WE WILL BE BACK!

The location and condo was great. The wifi was very poor and the cell service was only available on the communal deck and the it was intermittent. The office staff with special mention of Micheal were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The sound proofing was very poor. We could hear our neighbors on the phone clearly and way way to buffer the sound unless you are a TV watcher. There were no radio channels on the TV and we couldn’t access wifi to to play music in our phones. All in all it was a very good experience.

Great location right across the beach. I felt safe in the unit and liked the full service kitchen and washing/drying clothes unit.
The two things I didn't like was the cleanliness: The sofa bed had a white stain on the back cushion, and the sofa bed mattress cover had some brownish/reddish stain on the bottom bit on the underside of the mattress cover that seeped into the lining of the mattress. The pool was nicely heated but it looked like the bottom of the pool had stains on it. as well as in the hot tub.

I would have liked to have seen a recycling bin and some newer beach chairs for guests to use. It would have been nice to add some bikes to use to get around the island.

We had zero communication with the property manager during our stay, we didn’t reach out to them, we received an email with check in instructions immediately after booking and the process was a beeeze. The Dryer in the room didn’t work very well and the shower isn’t made for tall people. Those are the only complaints I had about this property! Everything was clean upon arrival, the pool could have used some attention but the room was perfect and abundantly stocked with all cooking needs. The beach is literally right out the front door! I loved that it is all tile flooring, perfect for the beach. I would absolutely stay here again. We have been coming to Florida for 8 years and this is the best place I’ve ever stayed!

Stayed four nights for the Fourth of July weekend. Great place for my wife, daughter and myself. Bed was comfortable and my daughter didn't complain about the pull out couch. Kitchen had everything you need to cook meals and private laundry was very convenient. The only thing we were disappointed about was that there is no grill, but we had other friends staying on the island, so we grilled with them. Pool is also small and gets crowded. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely stay again!

No windows to see much of anything but a parking lot and while it is only a short walk across the street to the beach, I believe (after many trips and much research) over-priced for the location. Management is great, unit was updated and comfortable and well equipped, I expected more for the $$$. BTW - minimal wifi (had to go to the rooftop patio) so don't expect to make this a working vacation.

If we had to be picky the pool could have been cleaner and parking at night was limited because the hotel lot was not enforced “ for guests only”. We originally booked a studio that had a murphy bed. It was a cute room but the bed was dented on one side. Upon arrival around 12.30 pm the front desk was not available. The keys were left in a bag in the mailbox. After sleeping on it for a night my wife and I who are small people had to complain. Our backs were killing us. After a bit of a hassle from the home office who basically told me what do you want from me, they finally upgraded us to a one bedroom at no additional cost. That room was great. At first they wanted me to pay the difference calling this an upgrade however, after giving it some thought I couldn’t allow myself to be forced into an unfair price increase since the studio’s bed had a dented mattress. The front desk was not able to make a decision on their own and the original person from the management office told me that I was threatening her for simply stating that I would leave a bad review if she couldn’t fix this. A few hours later they decided to move me when it was clear they were not going to sell the room. They did credit me for the night, so in the end it worked out but it didn’t come without some frustration. Jane at the desk did what she could and was very professional. Thank you Jane for saving our vacation. We will return and know now to book the one bedroom. Great pool and location to the beach. Just walk up the block before crossing gulf drive since the blind spot could be dangerous. The property is right on the curve on 22nd street.

Tried to check in, at least let the front office know that we were in town at 1:30pm., although regular check in is at 4:00pm. No one was there. Went to lunch, came back and still no one in office at 4:00pm. Called the contact number twice and the manager finally called us with a code to enter our room. She was delayed due to a bridge opening, I would have thought we would at least get a call earlier, but did not. Didn’t get checking papers until he next morning, which did not include a parking pass (which we knew nothing about). SO, the next morning we had a parking violation notice on our car. Had to call to get a parking pass. Our air conditioning was not working prior to going to bed on the first night. Service as called the next day after notifying front office, We were not impressed with the Beach Club.

This hotel was located in a perfect location. Very easy access to the beach. The only issue was that the drop box instructions said we need to clean our towels and purchase supplies. Paper towels, toilet paper, etc. so we bought these items. But the staff asked everyday if we needed clean towels etc. the place was clean but very noisy. Baby cried all night. I felt bad for the parents. The room in the other side could here everything. Conversations. One night the occupants were so loud until the wee hours of the morning. I know the hotel has little control over this. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

The property is unique, essentially one room with bath, the room includes a full kitchen and table. The bed is a Murphy bed and is a bit of challenge when both partners are at or near 80. The TV is Roku, we needed help learning how to use it. There are no comfortable chairs.
Otherwise, a short walk maybe 50 yards to a beautiful Gulf beach, pleasant co-travelers, lots of sun, sand, and tropical breezes. A great break place which supplies beach chairs, towels and umbrellas.

All in all it’s a very nice place to stay. Kitchen is nicely equipped and there is a nice starter packet of staples . The location is across the street from the beach and beach chairs, towels and umbrellas are provided. That being said....I arrived during business hours to find the office closed. I was fortunate that my keys were left in an envelope in a box outside the office. Glad I looked in the box! The blower to the air conditioning ran non stop. I had to flip the breaker switch to turn it off. The toilet paper holder had been knocked off the cabinet and not repaired. I repaired . The remote for the bedroom tv didn’t work but luckily the remote for the living room tv operated either of the sets. The pillows were very flat so I purchased a nice one. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable but I purchased a thick foam topper and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen cabinets and door jams needed a good cleaning . I cleaned. Housekeeping did check everyday to see if I needed anything.

We liked the location of the property which was close to the beach you could hear the waves from the front door. However, the street to cross to get there is on a dangerous curve. The unit we stayed in was updated and everything was pretty new. The bed was not super comfortable and the pull out couch for our third guest was worse. She preferred just sleeping on the couch without pulling it out so she didn’t feel the bars in her back. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, but we stayed from Friday - Tuesday and the front office was closed the ENTIRE time. When we arrived late Friday, there was no welcome packet with our room key like we were told. We had to stand outside of our room for 20 minutes until we finally got a hold of someone to get a keypad number. Then we ran out of toilet paper by Monday. Still no staff anywhere to be found. We had to call the 800 number for the property group and they sent someone over with towels. We only saw one housekeeper and she only gave us towels, took our garbage out, and that was it. It was a nice stay, but there are absolutely improvements to be made, starting with more staff!!

Nice place, short walk to the beach.

Overall very pleased with the room. Offers free use of umbrellas, beach chairs and towels. Beach is literally steps away, although you need to be careful crossing as there is a blind turn directly adjacent to the property. Nice kitchenette and located within minutes of tons of restaurants and shopping. Priced attractively. They have a pool and hot tub (we didn’t use either) at the end of the property, and even have a rooftop deck so you can watch the sunset. Only drawback we discovered is that the rooms aren’t well soundproofed. So we heard conversations from adjacent rooms and every footstep above us. And the family above us was rowdy and heavy footed. Would recommend to property management to keep families with kids on the bottom floor, and avoid putting people directly under other parties when rooms are available. There were other rooms available that we could have used that weren’t below other guest (property was never sold out during our stay).

Clean, Great location!

Great location! Access to the beach is excellent. Rooms were clean and AC worked great! Loved the rooftop balcony. Only recommendation would be to replace the mattress. It wasn't the most comfortable. Overall, everything was Great and we would definitely stay again!

My wife and I aren't all too picky about accomodations. We want safe, clean and quiet, but everyone has their own definition. The Beach Club met our expectations easily. We stayed in a condo for a week and loved it! The room was clean, has a full kitchen with plates, utensils, wine opener, stove, etc. The A/C worked very well too. Many places in FL often allow a lot of humidity into the room so you sleep under sticky sheets. Not here, it was always comfortable. The staff were very friendly, sharing information on where to eat and attractions, and were also quick to give us extra towels, soap, toilet paper and anything else we needed. In our opinion, the entire area is very safe, touristy and family oriented. There's a publix and walgreens about 3/4 mile away. There we no issues with parking, day or night. Be aware that the walls are paper thin. During the day, I could easily hear the topic of conversation inside the adjacent condos just sitting at our kitchen while playing on my phone. My wife said there was only one night with noise issues, but I slept through it. We will definitely come back here. Overall, great experience!

I was surprised by this location. I had everything I could ask for during my weekend stay. The room was amazing, felt like an entire apartment. They offer free beach chairs and umbrellas. I didn't interact with the staff because there really was no need.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The accommodations were fantastic and the room was fully stocked, but we could not get cell service in our unit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Weather was perfect and Judy said she ordered it special for us. The whole island was amazing.

Loved the location, the staff and the cleanliness. Small and quaint. I liked the idea of a Murphy bed, however they are so uncomfortable. I can understand the reasoning behind it, because it does provide more storage and room.

Great location across from the beach. Chairs and towels provided for beach use. Super easy and friendly check in and out. Terrific value.

Convenience & Parking

Overall the Beach club was nice, clean & close to restaurants, shopping, etc. The only negative was it sits on an \"S\" curve & it made it a blind corner to get & out of with vehicle. It was also hard to cross walking to get to the beach. Staff was great & extremely helpful. Trolley stop was close by and beaches were beautiful.

Great location! The only negative we had was the parking lot being small and only allowing 1 vehicle per condo (we had 2). Their solution was to park miles down the road but I surveyed the street for no parking signs and found none, so we parked the 2nd car on the street and had no issues all week. Daily maid service was an unexpected bonus! Will stay here again!
