The room was wonderful, clean, and private!! The kitchen has everything that you need to cook as far as pots, pans, and dishware. Having our own private hot tub was a huge plus, it was very clean! The hot tub was hot with working bubbles and colored lights. The only issue we had with the room was that the sofa needed to be reinforced. When sitting on the sofa it sags badly to the point you're almost on the floor. The room could use blackout curtains to block the morning light. Hey, if you like getting up with the sun this may be the perfect retreat for you! I would have given this place 5 stars even with the sad soda, but the continental breakfast was horrible. They had plain bagels with cream cheese, bite-sized poppy seed muffins, yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, and juice. We expected more for a continental breakfast.

A big surprise. We were hoping for a simple clean room for the night and was greeted with a SPACIOUS room with firm bed, clean everything, nice bath and wonderful Spa (which we didn’t have time to use), pool and bar restaurant. A nice treat. Only (minor) tick down was either poorly maintained or in-process renovation of outdoor walkways and pool shade trees (recently sawed down). We would stay again.

The from seat staff were friendly and helpful. There are games available in the lobby with tables for a fun family evening. The beds are very comfortable.
The on-site restaurant is an absolute gem! We went both nights of our stay, our server was absolutely lovely! Sit on the roof and enjoy the sun set while you eat. The chile relleno bites are fantastic!

Quite a few of us stayed here for a wedding. We loved it. The place is so cute with nice amenities (pool, spa, hot tub, rooftop bar, restaurant and free breakfast). The location is right across the street from a gorgeous park and pickleball court and just a few minutes walk to the adorable town of Ridgway. My room was super clean, I enjoyed the large jetted tub and the robe was a nice treat. I didn’t use the fireplace because it was summer, but I bet it’s cozy when the snow is falling!

I really loved the comfort, cleanliness, and decor at Chipeta. It was easy to access my room from my car parked on the street in the shade next to the short stairs to my room. I sat on my little patio last night in the cool evening air and this morning to eat my breakfast. The breakfast burrito was underwhelming, but the coffee, great. Thanks to all the pleasant and helpful staff, including in the restaurant which is beautiful, has really good fries, and reasonable prices. I would definitely go back on another trip just to relax, shop in Ridgeway, and get away from the city.

We were traveling on the San Juan Skyway loop and decided to spend the night in between
Ouray and Telluride. Ridgeway is a charming town in between. The lodge was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had drinks from the bar during Happiness Hour. Drinks were very well priced and we sat by the pool and listened to the live music playing on the rooftop deck. The scenery was spectacular. We highly recommend the lodge and would stay there again.

This was a great little resort. I rode into town as part of a bikepacking trip and the staff were very helpful and accommodating, loaning me a lock to secure my bike overnight. The staff and owners were friendly and ensured I had a nice stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The restaurant and bar were nice, with live music the night I was there. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and plan to go back for a long weekend with my wife.

The breakfast was very disappointing. There were no gluten-free and dairy free options.. The coffee was great but again only cream available. There was a fridge in my room so I had my own non-dairy milk but these days you’d think that there would be some options for people with dietary restrictions.

Pool opened May 9, which in Colorado is early for an outdoor pool. More than half of the rooms have been renovated, grounds are beautiful and everything is in walking distance.
A beautiful place to rejuvenate, regroup and relax.
We will be back and definitely get a room with our own hot tub.

The rooms were very small & uninsulated. The thermostat worked. The spare sink was unnecessary & the shower was strangely angled. The pool wasn’t open. It was incredibly loud at night & the tv was limited. The staff was nice & the spa was lovely.

The breakfast area was nice, clean and had nutritious food. The room was clean but later out in a weird way. There was no night stand or electrical outlet on one side of the bed and there was a sliding glass door that led to a breezeway type area so you couldn’t open the room curtains to allow natural light in the room or open a window to get fresh air. This wouldn’t be so bad if the room lighting was good (but it wasn’t) or there was a ceiling fan in the room.
Also, the workout room didn’t open until 8:00 am. Not really sure why is wasn’t a 24 hour key access thing because it was small and you wouldn’t make a ton of noise in there. I believe it stayed closed until 8 because the manager slept nearby and didn’t want to hear any noises from people exercising.

Room was great, both a comfortable bed and the kitchenette/coffee/fridge was nice. Enjoyed the hot tub, the breakfast burritos and the location/view. Wish I could have adjusted the temperate in the room, it was 76 degrees upon arrival and got as warm as 78 degrees even with the fan on. With also no window to outside it did feel too warm. All in all, a wonderful place to stay!

Everytime we go here there are new enhancements to the hotel. The new rooms have been tastefully updated with comfy beds. We got the room with our own spa and we felt like we went on an upscale retreat! Ridgeway is also such a wonderful town, surrounded by mountains with its own vibe and amazing food spots.

The interior design of the room is very unique similar to log cabin. Very clean and quite location. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only minor issue is the shower area does not have the wall extending all the way to ceiling due to the design. I would stay here again next time traveling to the area.

The property is very pet friendly, and there is a huge park right next door for walks. The park also has tennis courts, if you’re into tennis or pickle ball. We very much enjoyed the hot tubs near the pool that have amazing views of the mountains, and also the private hot tub on our patio. The swimming pool was closed during our stay. Breakfast was nice, especially the breakfast burritos and bagels. I also enjoy that the staff had a fire going each morning in the fireplace near the breakfast area. Also, I appreciated being able to use the bathrobes in our room for going to/from the hot tubs.

We j had a king spa room so it was wonderful having our own private hot tub. The blue tooth in the bathroom mirror was a nice touch. So you could listen to your music while putting makeup on. Very nice hidden gem.

This hotel has gone through a recent renovation. The old was a nostalgic old Western hotel. It has been modernized, new hot tubs, and great view of the Cimarrons at sunset! The staff was amazing. Stephanie was so kind after a long day of driving and fresh cookies. I will be back!
