This was our seventh trip to Colorado but our first time visiting Ouray, and we decided to make it a kid‑free getaway—just my spouse and me. We were incredibly lucky to find this property just a few days before our trip. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the location is perfect: close enough to walk into town, yet far enough to enjoy peaceful seclusion and mountain quiet.
The front desk staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and made us feel immediately welcome. We can’t wait to come back and will absolutely be choosing to stay here again. While exploring downtown, we checked out a few other hotels, and it only made us even happier with our choice. This place truly stood out in every way.

It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy. We walked it with our 6 year old and had a young buck come right in front of us to cross to the river for a drink. Our son was floored about it.
The room was comfortable and welcoming. Two king sized beds and they were super comfy. Loved the ambiance of the electric fireplace that you could turn on without heating the place up.
There weren't any apps on the tv for like Netflix or anything but just regular cable and we actually really appreciated this. Once our son knew it wasn't an option he just accepted it and was more ready to go do stuff with us.
Everyone that worked there that we came across were very nice and helpful. Cheerful! Great stay! Would def. Recommend and stay there again.

We loved having two very comfortable king-sized beds in our room. Each unit has a porch overlooking the creek. We spent quite a while just hanging out on it. We also walked along the creek one morning. A bar-b-que restaurant is a very short walk north and the town's hot springs are a short walk south. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. I especially liked the pastries. Plenty of parking. This was a road trip so we stayed at three different hotels across Colorado. This one was our favorite, hands down.

This was my second stay at Hot Springs Inn. The property is very well maintained and room was very clean. I travel quite often and the beds are some of the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve experience. The river walk provides an enjoyable walk into town. The hot tub was a great way to end a long day of hiking! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I plan to stay again!

This property is amazing. The rooms have been recently renovated. So many cute and thoughtful touches. So relaxing to sit out on the balcony and listen to the river in the comfortable chairs. Room was spacious even with two king beds in it. Staff was super nice and helpful and one said she “has the best job in the world”. Parking is right out front.

The view from balcony is unreal, stream is flowing with beautiful tracking and mountain behind. I felt this place worth so much more than a typical hotel. Must recommend. Excellent, rustic place on the river. 2 mile walking path right outside our door. It’s just 1/2 mile outside of main downtown and Hot Springs baths. Totally walkable.

Great place to stay. The room was updated and clean, short walk to town mostly on the river path, easy to find. The only feedback is the continental breakfast was very picked over each morning and I went to town to grab something instead. It seemed that both mornings they didn’t restock for the duration of breakfast as the pastry case was nearly empty. I know not to expect much from a continental breakfast, but if you have breakfast for an allotted amount of time I would expect it be restocked throughout that time.

The Hotsprings Inn is well located near the public hot springs and it has a lovely view of the river. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. However the bed was very uncomfortable, we were unaware that there were 2 separate heating systems in the room and we only shut down one of them so our room was overheated during the night and the only bed cover was a very warm comforter. Lights could not be shut off close to one side of the bed. The breakfast was also not particularly adequate. There were only a few choices of foods compared to most motel breakfasts. I would not chose to stay there again.

I truly would have given Hot Springs Inn an EXCELLENT but the gentleman who was working the morning shift on Sunday was very rude and not very kind unlike the lady who worked the night shift! There were multiple people looking for coffee! Really, he said “done with coffee today!” Then asked for change for their laundry facilities and could hardly help with that! Was told we could go to the local gas station for change! I understand people have bad days BUT come on you are working with people that paid to stay at your place! Other than that one bad incident our stay was beautiful! Ouray is very quiet in the off season!

This place is gorgeous, right by the river. The restaurant's a short walk away. There's four of us, and we stayed on the second floor with a view of the mountains and the river. The room was super nice and clean, and the bed was comfy. The staff is really friendly. I have no complaints. I totally recommend the Hot Spring Inn!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were always greeted by friendly front desk staff who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean, and the microwave and fridge were much appreciated. The location with the river right out the balcony provided a soothing background noise, and we enjoyed walking the 2 mile path along the river right behind the inn. The Hot Springs Inn is in a very pleasant location right on the river, if your window is open you can hear the babbling sound of the water. The town center of Ouray is accessible by walking up the river trail behind the hotel about 20 minutes. There are good options for eating there. We would stay there again next time we pass through Ouray.
