The hotel is beautiful. But the bed was uncomfortable, the restaurant was closed and there was no AC. Also I didn’t realize it was $38 extra per day for parking. You have to valet a car because there’s no self park option.
We only stayed one night so I didn’t get the opportunity to use the spa but it was nice that they offer yoga classes etc.

Staff were nice enough. Pillows are horrible, everyone complained that they were overstuffed, I barely slept all week and part due to altitude part due to the pillows being so uncomfortable. Mainly super annoyed the restaraunt is closed and they did not think to upgrade the cafe. For a stay this expensive, I was disappointed. I have stayed here before and it was way better.

Unacceptable at this category and price:
Noisy portable air conditioner that didn't cool off enough.
TV was old and the programing extremily basic.
MANY FLIES in the room.
Windows were filthy.
Paint over wood window sills was cracked and peeling.
Curtain rail was falling on the left side.
Bathroom floor tile was cracked.
The mattress was hard as were all the pillows which were tall and hard as a rock.
The facilities at the spa are dated, poorly mantained, unattractive. Cheapest roadside hotels have nicer spa.
The coffee at the spa was undrinkable.

Love this place

I didn’t want to leave The Peaks. It was great from beginning to end. The pools and hot tub were key. The views are unbeatable. And it was set apart enough to be conveniently located to everything without being right in the activity.

Wish I would have known valet service was not an option. Had to do it and an up charge. However they were great workers. No seating in the room other than one computer chair and the beds were super firm. Had to keep the light on all night to make the air conditioner work since they were on the same socket. Expected more I guess for how much it cost- even in Telluride.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Peaks! The staff were very welcoming and our room was very well appointed. There are fabulous views from every corner of the property and many areas to sit and enjoy the beauty. We are at the restaurant, Altezza, more th a once and enjoyed everything we tried. The hostess especially was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property! Staff was great- room was lovely, luxurious and comfortable . My biggest complaint was the parking situation. The valet staff seemed super friendly to the residents it seemed - but for some reason, were rude to me. One day, I waited over thirty minutes for my car to be brought up . When I finally asked where it was, they said I never asked for it! So odd because I did, was sitting at the valet station for 30 minutes and no one asked if they could help me. Even though I’d already given my car info. No apologies, whatsoever. Another time I went to get my car and the valet attendant said, oh it’s not parked up in the front parking lot . I said, well ok I still need my car . He said, well someone is going to have to go get it . I said , well whatever you gotta do I need my car . Reluctantly he grabbed the key and went to get it finally. Yet another time when I went to get my car, I gave the valet my room number . And he said, I needed my valet ticket number. Now every other time I never needed that I just gave my room number- and he said well he didn’t have the phone that had the info on it. I’m like, well, let me look at your key rack and find my keys. In the mean time while I was looking for my keys he said, the number should be on my phone. Now why would it be on MY phone?! Each time I was very friendly didn’t loose my cool, tipped $10-$20 each time I got my car or dropped it off. But it got so when needed my car I felt like, what now?

The staff are helpful and the hotel has everything you need. It should for what your paying to be there. No ac in the vents so you have to request for a portable to be set up. We also asked for a microwave for our room which they brought. The pumped were enormous and I had to ask for a smaller one to sleep

Wonderful stay for Telliride Bluegrass Festival

Absolutely wonderful! Gorgeous mountain views from the balcony. Spa like bathroom. Only downside was lack of AC. Fans helped being more comfortable. Free gondola down to Telluride was a great bonus. Loved the eco friendliness of the entire area. Elevators were very cool!

This hotel is conveniently located and we like the ski in/out service. The guys helping with the skis were top notch. We liked that very much. The restaurant was just okay and overpriced but that is expected for the location. The bar attendants were very polite to us but when my daughter asked for water before closing the lady was rude and rolled her eyes and said a sarcastic remark in Spanish to a coworker.(oops! My daughter speaks Spanish) The room was average at best. The mattress for our bed was too firm for me and the pull-out mattress was cheap and practically springs. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the complete conversation in the room next to us, as well as barking dogs and crying babies. The room has no AC but has heat and a lot of it. We had to open the windows as the thermostat did not control the heat in our room. A small microwave would be a welcomed addition. The spa was very nice and we enjoyed the hot tubs, sauna, and steam room. The hot tub could use some TLC as it had missing grout on the walls but I am being picky. The lobby was very nice with a beautiful view and crackling fireplace. The valet was very nice and quite helpful. Check-in was easy and they were very welcoming. We would stay here again even with some of the less than great things. There is room for improvement.

Great week at the Peaks Spa and Resort

The Peaks is a top notch resort. First of all, I was there for the skiing.The Peaks provided porter service to my room and sent my skis to the ski-in / ski-out ski valet. The employees kept my boots warm and my skis clean. They put them away each day and brought them out to the snow each day.
My group ate at the hotel restaurant where I dined on tender filet mignon. Service was outstanding. I utilized the indoor/outdoor poor and jacuzzis. The indoor water slide was a nice bonus.

I was generally frustrated with my stay and its soley based on the room. Loved everything else. To be clear, this is a room im a hotel. I had 2 large issues. 1st was that it shares a wall with a service elevator for employees. Starting early in the morning througu the evening youll hear the crashing of carts because aparently there needs to be a giant bump they all have to ram over to go through the door. Every few minutes ..... wam. I hope youre an early riser if you rent. 2nd issue was the sound proofing. You could hear a mouse fart in the hallway. Might as well not have even put a door. It was amazing how fancy this place wanted to be and how much this room is not that. Other small things, im 6 ft 4\" and had to squat a good 6+\" to use any shower head. They force you to valet park, there is no other option.

Overall, not worth the money. I wish i had spent more to be closer to the gondola and the center part of the village where there was more going on and the ppaces were clearly nicer.

I came here with my son for his fall break. We loved it. The hotel is very close to mountain town and the gondola, so many amazing hikes near by (Maybe a 3 minute walk)
The free spa and gym were nice. The staff was very accommodating. My only complaint was that the beds were hard, But I am a little high maintenance so others might find them just fine. I would absolutely stay again. I loved the views and I love Telluride. We will be back to ski next time

We were only there for one night, but it was a very nice hotel. Very clean and accommodating staff. My only issue was when I was eating at the restaurant, I asked for a certain drink, and they brought me something else and said they couldn't make what I asked for... (Then why not say that instead of bringing me something else?) But overall it was a great property. I'll definitely stay again, hopefully longer than one night.

The resort is very nice. We arrived a couple of hours early and we were told that check in time wasn’t until 4. We were exhausted from the flight in and drive from the airport. I asked again at about 3:15, and was told room wasn’t guaranteed until 4. Magically at 4 the room was ready! The receptionist was not friendly at all ☹️. The refrigerator in our room didn’t work, but that happens, not a big deal. Property was beautiful.

The property was wonderful- close proximity to the gondola and great views. While it looks abit outdated it is wonderfully comfortable and incredibly pet friendly. I recommend staying here for a visit to telluride, especially if you have a pet with you.

We splurged on this hotel during the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. It was very expensive. We checked in and the next morning, the shower was inoperable, the kourig didn't work, and when we tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work either. We were late to the festival, and lost the opportunity to get a good seat. They waived our resort fees and said that was all they could do because I booked through Expedia. All of the issues were taken care of when we returned in the evening, but never so much as an apology from management.
