Came here on New Year’s. I was not expecting to be able to get a room. I was pleasantly surprised and so well taken care of. We were given an upgrade for free, which was absolutely amazing. We had one of the suites on the fourth floor. Thanks to the generous girl at the front desk. She made our stay even more amazing thank you so much and we will be back. The area is well known for its beauty and definitely walkable anywhere, although they did offer a shuttle service.

The hotel is nice, but it needs some updating its getting worn out. One of the hot tubs were not working when we were there. The restaurant only had 1 thing on the menu for vegetarians. We had a nice balcony we could go out and sit on. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were amazing. Walking distance to downtown.

I still feel with the VERY limited amount of \"private parking\" guests shouldn't be charged anything for parking, (it's $20 per day, if it works out for you). it was really hard to find a spot to park after driving 320 miles from Colorado Springs. It was a very convenient location though. I also feel that you should perhaps request a second, or third level room, due to the feel of the first floor room we recieved. It was not as convenient as you would expect, and honestly was falsely represented in the photos on any website I reviewed before booking my reservation. First: You have to accend to the second floor in order to get ice for you room. Second: it doesn't look a whole lot different than a Standard/traditional hotel room, (perhaps, the second or third floor is better than ours?).

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff accommodated my dog and me with positive energy. They allowed us to park our SUV in the loading zone (no parking fee) because the entrance to the underground parking garage only allowed vehicles under 6 feet 9 inches clearance. The hotel had a Western feel with an antique appearance. Charlie loved staying at this location so much he slept for hours during the relaxing rainfall. Hotel Telluride only charges an affordable $20 pet fee. I wish we could have stayed longer at this hotel. Overall, we plan to revisit Telluride and possibly book a room at this hotel again.

I've been hanging out in Telluride for over 40 years, had 3 houses there, and now just go up to get out of Albuquerque for the things I want to do & see. I prefer the Hotel Telluride over all others in Telluride, hands down, and have stayed there many times. The ONLY criticism I have is the totally inadequate parking situation: 34 spaces by my count that you have to pay $20/night(penalty!) to pack yourself into like a sardine with negligible on street or nearby public parking. Definitely a winter issue! The rooms have gotten expensive enough as it is without this irritation. Not being cheap, just honest. $20/night x 34 spaces/night x 365 nights = $248,000/year = RIPOFF!

The Hotel Telluride was an amazing property to stay at. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They also provide a dog friendly shuttle service throughout the city where they will drop off and pick you up. We found the city to be walkable when we went in August. The shops are just a few blocks away as well as the restaurants. The Gondola was about a 7 minute walk. The room was very clean and large. Beds were very comfortable. the one and only downside was the parking. They do offer parking for a fee, but it's not guaranteed and tight spots. With our truck, we'd never had been able to fit so we opted for street parking. However, because the city is so walkable, we parked the car on our first day and never even used it. I would highly recommend. In addition, we also brought our pup and the place was very dog friendly.

We had a nice stay here with our dog. It was a convenient location for going into town and getting to various trails. Our only complaint is we ended up with the room above the parking garage door so we heard it open and close in the morning and evening. Next time, we'd request a different room.

Very friendly staff, was very sweet to my service dog. Parking underneath hotel was tight, wish I’d picked smaller rental car than full sized SUV! Def will be back for ski season. Was great fall birthday getaway. Checked in on my birthday and was surprised they didn’t wish me happy birthday but otherwise the attention to detail and staff were great.
