Absolutely deserving of the reputation this place has. Many more amenities in the kitchenette than I actually expected, including a tube burner stove, top, toaster, dishes & utinsils. Rooftop hot tubs are by reservation but free and included in the hotel room rate. We had no problems getting a reservation. Also get free access to the spa and Pools at the Peaks resort.

Loved the hotel, the staff, the breakfast. Big complements to Carmine in the ski valet! My only feedback is, like every other hotel in Mountain Village, the base temperature of the hotel was way too hot. Basically have to keep a window open at all times.

The views are impressive. Very clean rooms. All of the staff at Inn at Lost Creek were exceptional. The free breakfast was exceptional! The close by gondola quickly takes you right into the heart of Telluride with beautiful views.

One of our favorites!

Love this place! We stay here often and always have a wonderful experience. The staff is amazing and the location is fantastic. The only thing I wish they’d do is change up the breakfast buffet, it’s always the same and it gets boring! But, everything else is perfect! Highly recommend!

The BEST Stay Ever

The entire hotel experience was of the absolute highest quality. I can honestly say it was the best ever in terms of customer service, amenities, location and comfort. The staff were ALL attentive, personable and appeared to be happy doing their best to make you feel at home. The location near the gondolas was very convenient and the surrounding area was like a small European Village with a small pond, cafes and open plaza with evening mini-concerts. Included breakfast was always lovely. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you Inn at Lost Creek for being a hospitality icon!! We won’t stay anywhere else when we are in Telluride.

Thanks for a fab experience!

My husband and I attended the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in June 2025 and could not have selected a more perfect location in Mountain Village by the gondola. We were impressed by the facility, but loved most of all, the friendly service from everyone who worked at the Inn at Lost Creek. Thanks for a fab experience!

Very convenient location for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Parking is available and Telluride is a short, delightful, free gondola ride with breath taking views.And the gondola is just steps from the property. Breakfast was yummy and the room had so many amenities: jacuzzi tub, kitchenette, washer/ dryer; steam sauna, double sided fireplace. We will definitely be back!

This was a great place to stay. Right next to the gondola station. We had a studio room with kitchen and washer/dryer which was so great to have. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was great. Real eggs!!!! I’d stay here every time I was in Telluride.

The Staff Make the Inn Special

We have stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek many times and it is our first choice for a ski vacation. It is the staff that sets the Inn apart. Every member of the team was attentive to our every need. Whether carting our skis to and from the car, assisting us with medical care when we had a case of AMS or helping us with our 120 lb dog who wanted to say hello to everyone. We love being able to ski right from the front door to several lifts.
There is only one downside to the Inn and that is the condition of some of the fixtures. The carpet is warn and needs to be replaced and some of the furniture is far too big for the space and not always functional for sports like skiing that have lots of clothes. However this is a minor quibble for an overall excellent stay.

Amazing views from the balcony! Fireplace was great and kept the room warm. Spacious rooms. The bed was a little hard for me but the pillows were great which matter to me personally. The only thing I didn’t like was the tile floors were very cold when walking around without shoes. Great place to enjoy whatever reason for your visit.

Absolutely perfect honeymoon stay. We were greeted outside and they had keys ready when we got to the lobby. Free room upgrade for our honeymoon with a bottle of champagne was very unexpected. The best part was the private rooftop hotub you can reserve for sunset. Cant wait to come back and stay again soon!

This has become one of my favorite stays ever. The beauty of Telluride is unbeatable, and the Inn at Lost Creek in Mountain Village was the perfect location to spend 3 nights as I explored the area. I received an upgrade to a Junior Suite (due to being a VIP thru Expedia) which provided a small kitchen equipped with a fridge, cooktop microwave, pots/pans, plates/bowls/cups, and silverware...along with a fireplace, jetted tub, steam shower/shower combo, and a washer/dryer. I loved the mountain view from my patio too! The Inn has onsite parking thru valet service (underground heated parking for a daily fee).The gondola was a 2 minute walk, taking you up to San Sophia Station to access many hiking trails, continuing down into the town of Telluride. The location of the Inn was so convenient...it was better to stay there than fight the crowds for parking within the town of Telluride. The Inn also has reservable hot tubs on the 7th floor with amazing mountain views! I will definitely stay here again!!

Great couple of days

From the moment we checked in until we checked out, our stay was great. The two young men at the desk upon check in were friendly, efficient and so helpful. We were traveling with our dog and they were very very helpful. The hotel is in a great location and we would definitely stay here again.

Large Black German Shepherd attack in lobby

It was a good stay until me and my dog were attacked by a large black German Shepherd as we were about to exit the elevator to the lobby. The owner couldn’t control their dog, which jumped on my back and cornered me in the elevator for a few seconds before someone finally pulled it off of us. The staff seemed to care more about cleaning up my spilled soda in the elevator then any genuine concern for me or my pet.

My wife and I stayed here for our 3rd wedding anniversary in mid-June. We had previously stayed here in March 2019 for a ski trip and really enjoyed it, hence the return visit. Everything about the stay was awesome. Of particular note is the staff. Right from the beginning, Eric was very helpful and friendly. In fact, everytime we came down the elevator to the lobby, there was someone there to greet us with a smile and friendly word. In addition to Eric, Jake also was a standout person. We booked a room for next February for a ski trip. Before we booked, we asked if we could see some of the choices (room size and type) in order to make a better choice. Jake showed us several rooms and made the decision on our room choice easier. Hint, it was not the room we originally thought we would book. Overall, if we could give more than five stars, we would. I doubt we will ever stay anywhere else in Mountain Village.
