The hotel is perfectly situated next to the gondola and the staff are super helpful. Hotel room was huge and clean. They service the rooms daily and everything is in walking distance, but not right where the hustle and bustle is.The parking is a little funky, but if you buy parking, you can park underground, in the garage. We had an F150, so it was tight, but doable. Fabulous place to stay. We were there is Spring, but I can only imagine it's even better in the winter. There is a restaurant on site and they have a breakfast that overlooks the gondola.
Denise
Great location and clean rooms.
Jessica
We really enjoyed our stay!
Kateryna
Great friendly staff. Nice clean hotel, beautiful rooms. Good breakfast, tea is available all day. Limited parking in the basement of the hotel, $20 daily fee. My room was closer to the gondola station, so I could hear the noise with windows open or had to use window air conditioner at night, which is a bit loud for me. Otherwise great hotel, excellent location, great experience!
Molly
The location was great, next to gondola and trails. Breakfast was good. The room was very hot, only a window air unit in bedroom. The windows were not well insulated and could hear everything outside. The pull out bed in couch was very uncomfortable. The parking was confusing because had signs saying not to park, also parking is $20. The front staff at check-in was rude.
Dalen
Location is fantastic, staff was nice, rooms were clean and nice, rooms are well insulated so we couldn’t hear our neighbors or people above us, love that they provide a hot tea kettle in the breakfast area all day, and the balcony was a treat! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the beds were too soft, we removed the memory foam topper and it was better. The beds in the double room were also advertised as queen but they were full size (not a problem for us because we’re small people), and the steam room was advise a sauna, which was misleading (but we enjoyed the steam room anyway).
Curtis
Great place! Clean and in a great location.
Alena
Overall, this is a decent hotel with a good location. The room was spacious and featured a gas fireplace, which added a nice touch. We also had access to a small private backyard/patio area, which made the stay feel more unique and enjoyable.
The hotel is conveniently located, and the property itself is attractive and interesting. However, the parking fee was almost $40 per night, which felt excessive.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The selection was very limited, and there were not many options available.
Another downside was the bathroom amenities. There was no body wash provided, and the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were extremely inconvenient to use.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there are definitely areas that could be improved, especially considering the price.

The stay was wonderful. The place is so clean, cozy and beautiful. Just perfect for our family.

Great place to stay in Telluride!! Great Location! We have stayed there before, actually several times in the last 20 years, well maintained property!! However, be aware of the “resort fees” that the hotel tacks on now!! It was a surprise..even the “self parking” there is a “resort fees” SEPARATE!! HUMMMMM
Christen
wonderful breakfast and location. downstairs rooms have door to outside sitting area. adjacent to gondola 2 block walk to main street. nice clean beds and bathrooms. casual pub for libations and snacks and gathering / main floor of building, next to lobby.
William
Excellent location right next to the gondola. Spacious room. Good bedding. Good bathroom.
Crystal
Perfect location, very nice rooms and property, super kind staff, and delicious breakfast!
Loaiza
in Telluride. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right next to the gondola and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and everything downtown Telluride has to offer. It made getting around incredibly easy and convenient.
Allison
The toilet did not flush. We smelled sewer all night long.
The breakfast staff was not friendly at all, just watched me serve, stared at me and not a single smile or friendly face whatsoever. Same with other guests.

Excellent location, spacious rooms, and loved the free breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, great location and would definitely stay again!
We visited in summer and the window AC unit was moderately effective. The rooms are mildly dated, but everything worked very well!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the area was amazing. Telluride is such a beautiful place. The staff wasn’t that friendly when we asked for things but oh well we enjoyed our time there anyways!
Betty
Great location right next to the gondola. Breakfast, great. Garage, tight fit and very limited spaces.

Easy check in. Pricey place for an overnight stay. No frig in room. 👎 no free water in room 👎
Kayla
Breakfast was marginal: muffins, yogurt with fruit, 2 dry cereals, coffee, 2 juices & teas. Room was spacious with balcony. Underground parking limited, but free.
Syeda S
Location was great, breakfast was fresh and delicious and variety, but what made our stay was the EXCEPTIONAL service from the staff. Incredibly kind, incredibly accommodating and just thank you to the staff for going above and beyond when my son got sick. This stay here made our Telluride ski vacation; we are so grateful to the front desk staff and the cleaning ladies and breakfast ladies , thank you kindly . Great stay, huge room, and great view .
Christa
Rooms were clean, spacious and a delicious breakfast is included. I also loved the big bathtub!
Laurie

chris
Perfect location, great breakfast!
Arkady
Clean and spacious room, cozy atmosphere, nice lounge area, delicious free breakfast, and very convenient location, next to the gondola and close to dining and shopping. Staff is excellent and ready to help. Steam room and cool (hot) jacuzzi with a great view!
enas
Great location. Right next to the gondola and the town. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly Only complaint is breakfast had no decent protein whatsoever- only slivers of salmon which were soaked in oil. The rest was cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels, granola, cereal and yogurt as well as berries. After 4 days of being there, it got extremely mundane and sugar overload.
Phyllis
Great location in town, next to gondola and restaurants. Wonderful European breakfast.
Christopher
Lively restaurant and bar on site, spacious lobby, pool, hot tub, sauna, and right at the base of the mountain. Room was clean and spacious and an easy walk to the center of town. Would absolutely book again!
Thomas
The hotel is immediately next door to the main gondola that takes you to the slopes, most convenient and walking distance to the best restaurants in Telluride. Camel's Garden is clean and comfortable, highly recommended.
Amanda
The room was spacious and great views. Ski in/Ski out with valet service! Hot tub incredible and can’t say enough great things about the friendly service.

Loved this hotel.
Jana
Staff was GREAT! The place is nice, but the beds and rooms dont line up with how nice this place is. We had four in a room with two double beds. Not sure why they don’t just have queens there is enough space. The wall control for the heater says “heat only” so we figured there’s no AC like most Colorado properties. We opened window to cool room and listened to the gondola run all night until 2 am and restart at 7 am. Found out next day we should have asked for a remote for the AC which is a big square in ceiling that looks like a vent and we could have had AC. Never knew that was AC. Never saw it. Maybe have a sign in room to tell customers to ask for remote for the AC. They offered a discount, but because we booked through Expedia can’t do. Expedia… can you offer discount? It was worst night of sleep! The beds need new mattresses and sheets are hard. Sorry to say all this because the staff and the breakfast was excellent! But if we don’t share no one will know to fix this. By far the BEST coffee ever! Starbucks Verona was served. Let people know there is an AC option so they can keep windows shut. Upgrade mattress and get softer sheets, get rid of double beds and this place would be top notch!
Alejandro
They upgrade us to a nice big room. , location is perfect , staff very friendly , room very clean and nice
Will stay here again
Will stay here again
Michael
Great location, amazing staff! Beds could use an upgrade the the guests in the room next door were obnoxiously loud after 10pm. Otherwise perfect!
Natalie
Clean and large room. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal but ok (toast, bagel, oatmeal)
Kimberly
The view was great. The bed was comfortable.
Aniruddha
Everything about this place is extraordinary. The location is prime, the Telluride gondola station is just few meters, intact 10 steps from the hotel entrance. The property is clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. The rooms were all big, clean beautiful with all amenities. The attached balcony for our room# 205 was exceptional with great views of the mountain. The heated pool and the steam room are perfect to compliment this hotel. Overall, it was a great decision to reserve my stay here. I will easily recommend this property to everyone asking for one in Telluride.
Diana
Great location near the gondola, walking distance to everywhere in town. Clean rooms and we really enjoyed the steam room and hot tub.
jennifer
Great size room, awesome bathroom, wonderful location

The bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were like flat pancakes. My husband and I both woke up with backaches. The room was nice with the fireplace.

Everything was great loved the fireplace, lots of outlets, lovely bathroom , clean and comfy!RSK

The hotel was clean, quiet, friendly staff, close to literally everything, it was absolutely perfect. This will be the only hotel we will stay at in Telluride!
Michael
Positives: great location; good sized room; staff was friendly and helpful; room clean; decent continental breakfast.
Negatives: high off-season price; charge for parking. Fireplace barely lit; maintenance came by fairly promptly, stated fireplace should have a larger fire, played around with controls and when that didn't work, said the minimal flame was normal and couldn't go higher. Fireplace had a remote control; this was missing from the room.

Really nice room! Very clean and loved the fireplace and balcony overlooking the creek. The hot tub was great, too. Nice to have it so close to the room.
Terry
Nice staff, not overly personable but pleasant. The hotel itself is lovely and in a great location, Nextdoor to the gondolas, but sadly they were closed down right now.
Susan W
Great location and wonderful breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
Jack
Beautiful area!
Linda
We could stay here again in a heartbeat! All was excellent!! Thanks!
Amy
The location was ideal - super convenient. Our room on these second floor was also ideal - next to breakfast and work area. Staff was very accommodating. My only negative comment would be that the rooms are rustic - in need of renovation to be freshened up. Bathroom had been updated and was very modern and fresh. Would be nice if rooms themselves were updated, too.
WARREN
Person who checked us in was rude and irritable. He needs to attend “how to be nice to customers” training. Plus, our room had very few electrical wall outlets. Insane! We won’t stay at your hotel again.
Mark
The property was VERY nice!!! The gondola is about 20 yards from the front door. Eveything in downtown Telluride is a 10 minute or less walk. Great facility and we're already talking about going back!!
Natalie
The room was large and lovely. Very clean. Right next to the gondola. Very close to awesome trails and hiking.

Best hot tub view in the city for the sunset, fantastic location for both ski in/ski out or biking/hiking as well as for walking to shops and restaurants. Rooms are sizable and updated. Will stay again.

The breakfast was excellent as well as the amenities in the room, large tub and great location for the gondola.
Leonard
Our room was spacious and immediately clean. Great location, close to dining and shops. We would have left led a greater selection of breakfast items. Something hot would have been appreciated.
Carl

The location can’t be beat. Walk out the door to the gondola. It was great being in town and walkable to everything. The hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable and breakfast was great. The only negative was that the pillows were not up to the standard of everything else.
Nikita
Amazing property, staff is knowledgeable but are not pushy.
Kimberly
The rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. We have a mountain view and are right next to the ski lift even though there is no skiing yet.

The location is great, just right out of the gondola station. I was checked in by a gentleman who provided all the info in 2X speed (as he was so anxious to go back to the back room), not a welcoming and friendly person to work in the front desk. Our room, a Select room, was really spacious. However, believe or not, it doesn't come with a mini-fridge which is a standard feature for almost all hotel rooms. It has great coffee all day long (though they didn't refill decaf since late afternoon). The breakfast has mixed berries that you rarely see in other hotels. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with what we expect (eggs, sausage, bacon, potato). Parking is available underground for $20/night. Most spaces are large enough (some are a bit tight for large SUV). However, they don't have a lot of spaces and most of them are occupied throughout the day. I was worried I may not have a space if I drive out and return, so I didn't drive out at all during our stay.
Bonnie
I loved the size of the room. Very nice with fireplace. Walkable clean and comfy
Deborah
Great location next to gondola and a block from shopping. Also enjoyed outdoor hot tub as sun set.
Lisa
I arrived into town earlier then expected and appreciated that I could get an early check-in. The location was very convenient as it is at the base of the mountain, close to shopping, and the gondola.

Camel's was fantastic on every level! Quick and easy check-in, friendly, professional staff. Very clean, modern, well-appointed room with a balcony and a view of the hillside & gondola. Delicious breakfast - including salmon! Used the spacious hot tub to relax in the evenings. All around a fantastic stay!
Don
Exceptional in every possible way, best stay of this whole 8 day trip! Perfect location right next to gondola/mountain also.
Randall
The location is perfect

Large rooms, free breakfast, great location.
Need to improve internet. We were in Room 109 and internet did not work in room. Worked with front desk to reset router, but did not work.

It was a great location in a beautiful town. Check in could have been better did not provide clear information on parking. Wasted our time unfortunately.
