It would be really good if they stopped misleading people with false advertising. This place is horrible and it made me feel extremely embarrassed in front of my family. They didn’t even bother to change the bed sheets. Luckily, we were coming from another place and had clean bedding in our car. I don’t think they’ve ever cleaned under the beds—there were French fries thrown in the corners of the room, full of ants! Please don’t stay at this lodging, it’s not worth it, not even for $20 a night.

But, Unfortunately, how the place is kept, depreciates the fact that they are accommodating, they could do better. This property was terrible. Mold in the rooms set off my asthma. Tube was sandy (so not cleaned before we arrived). Bedcover threadbare. Barely repaired holes in hallway walls. The door jam to my room showed clear evidence that it had been broken into multiple time. Caulking to seal bathroom fixtures looked like raccoon had performed the work. Broken and unusable patio furniture. No lock on door to the outside. I have pictures supporting all of these claims.
DO NOT stay at this property. The pictures are truly misleading. You are getting hostel (or tenement) accommodations for the price of a mintier hotel. Had to leave after one night. Reception immediately said \"no problem. We will refund your card within three business days.\" It's now 3 weeks later and nothing. Cannot call this business because no one ever picks up the phone. If I could rate this property 0 stars, I would.

It was our first time bringing our kids to seaside and this hotel was the worst. The pictures didn’t match the actual room we booked. Was more of a motel feel, the hot water was nonexistent, only 1 tv in what should have been a living room but they put a 3rd bed. Ceiling tiles were popping down, you could see light through the main door, had to get my own toilet paper from an employee only door since there was no one in the main office. The ONLY nice thing was how close it was to the boardwalk. We will NEVER stay here again

The toilet seat in one room was wobbly and cracked, therefore my mother fell. The rooms were not clean, we had ants. The stairs were slanted at such an angle that it was difficult to walk up and dangerous to walk down. No ventilation in the bathroom so the ceiling tiles were moisture damaged. We checked out after one night because it was unclean and unsafe. They refunded the remaining nights but nothing for the fall or the ant problem.

The first place which is listed here we couldn’t stay in the room it had a real musty like smell it bothered my daughters asthma plus there were towels on the floor not sure if the room was clean but we were two hours early perhaps the room wasn’t finished yet. I went and spoke to the gentleman at the office he went above and beyond and found us a room at another location it was wonderful he was so helpful the place we got put in was so clean and right on the board walk the staff there was also super friendly and gave us 10 percent off at the food place on the corner which was delicious. The place we ended up staying in was Sand and surf inn north beach

Rooms could use some touching up, like a lot. But I’ve stayed at worst, was comfy and cozy if on a budget and pet friendly. (With fee ofc) unless service animal. Parking isn’t terrible if you know how to park in tight spaces, or in general. Pool was accessible although I didn’t go in I spent my mornings there as it was quiet and area in and area pool was very clean surprisingly.

Parking was very convenient. Stars was really friendly and helpful. When i first pulled in and saw the pool I was not happy. However, the pool was actually very nice. Very clean, very comfortable. My kids loved it. Of course it's a motel pool and the beach is the main attraction but it was not bad at all.

This is a cute little place a block from the boardwalk, the front desk staff were AMAZING. The nicest guys you will ever meet. Sure, the rooms are pretty basic and the property could use some updates but we had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the customer service accommodations. We had the pool to ourselves the day we checked out and would definitely come back!

The location is perfect but the room was very small, the sink barely had water pressure, the toilet moved. The bed was hard and there was a draft from the window which made the room very cold even with heat on. The room was right by the window and very thin walls, you hear everything. I would not come back. It was very uncomfortable. The small pool was nice and customer service was good. It was just a terrible sleeping experience

Ahmed who checked us in was absolutely fantastic , polite accommodating and friendly! I can honestly say the room we had was the cleanest hotel room close i’ve ever had in seaside heights ! The room was a decent size .
The beds could use upgrading with more bigger and more comfortable mattresses , along with more comfortable bedding ( sheets and blankets . A comfortable chair or two in the room would be nice so you don’t have to sit on the bed the whole time Would i stay here again? Yes ! The stairs are a little tricky for someone with disabilities .
All and all a nice place for a couple at the shore ! Nothing fancy , just basics to shower and sleep .
Ahmed made our stay more pleasant !

Not a 5-Star Hotel, But We Made the Best of It!
The hotel is in a great location — close to the beach, boardwalk, and plenty of things to do. However, the property itself needs a lot of TLC. The rooms are dated, and the pictures online were definitely deceiving. Beds were full-sized cots with old spring mattresses, and overall, the rooms didn’t live up to the price we paid.
Housekeeping was basically nonexistent. Our room wasn’t cleaned once during our stay, and this was the same for the three other families we traveled with. That said, they did empty our trash daily when we left it outside our door, and it wasn’t a big issue for us since we didn’t spend much time in the rooms anyway.

The pool area was the highlight! We loved it — it had a relaxed, homey vibe. We cleaned off the grill and had a cookout with burgers and hot dogs while the kids played in the pool. It really felt like a backyard party, which made the stay much more enjoyable.
Parking is limited — only 14 spots for 21 rooms — so it’s first come, first serve. Luckily, we walked everywhere and didn’t need to worry about it, but it could definitely be an issue for others.

The front desk staff was very attentive and friendly, which we really appreciated.
All in all, we had a good time because we made the best of it, but for the price they’re charging, we expected much more. This place has a lot of potential if they invest in some upgrades and maintenance.

PLACE IS A DUMP.

I understand that you get what you pay for, especially in a beach town but come on have a little pride in your business. This place was a DUMP. First room they send us to us up rickety outside stairs that are warped and bent. So extra for 1st floor and move. One of the beds is soaked from a roof leak waited forever for that to be resolved. Room has one lamp other than drop ceiling fluorescents. Our door did not fit the frame and could not security latch, the sliding latch fell off when opening the door. No working ice machine at the hotel and we were told to go the next block down to their other location for ice. Had to carry a garbage bag of ice bag to our room at the original hotel. Doors from the street to the rooms are left unlocked so anyone could walk in. We woke up at 730 in the morning and ran out the door to go home. They have one person working two different hotels so no one is in office. Like I said I understand low rate expectations but it was almost $200 for a literal DUMP. Owners should be ashamed of themselves.

When I arrived to the property I was a bit confused at first because I thought it couldn’t have been the right location. It looked run down but of course being that we checked in late and going down the shore during the summer, it’s really hard to an alternative I went in anyway. Front desk is superb but I must be honest the room and property was horrible! I felt unsafe in our room as even the doors weren’t secure. The room’s electrical outlets did not work, drop ceiling’s were gross, doors, baseboards, surfaces, lamps, fridge all disgusting. Now when you walk in the scent was pleasant but the conditions are just awful. The size of the bathroom should be illegal for how small it was. And rooming with my family of 6 made it almost impossible! The beds were supposed to be queens they were fulls. The sink was dirty, the shower doors opens inwards which makes it almost impossible to close once your in the shower.

Look to sum it up, don’t book here!!!!
The listing is nothing at all what you’ll walk into!

I deserve a refund, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!

At check out I expressed my concerns to the front desk whom I will say again is just superb and understood my concerns but of course out of his control since he just works there.

Definitely did not meet our expectations for the price we paid , the place was unclean and security was non existent, the walls were as thin as cardboard and we could hear the people in the room across the hall , the beds were unacceptable, not even a box spring or skirt , just a metal frame, the tv did not work, the ceiling had holes in it, they charged me $100 security deposit, we are clearly middle aged, not 21 , parking was non existent, had to pay for street parking, $75 a night maybe, $200 definitely not .

When we showed up, there were unexpected fees, and we were given a room that looked like none of the pictures. The beds were not beds. They were just cops and were not clean as we found hair and stains on the sheets and mattress pads. The shower had mold and the ceilings were water damaged. In addition, the walls were so thin. We could hear everything that was going on around the hotel outside and between rooms. When I asked the front desk the next morning, what we could do to fix this, they offered no solutions and said that this was my fault.

The room was musty proably due to the a/c's not really working. We got a 2 bedroom and both window a/c's barely were blowing air, the living room had a bed but no fans or air whatsoever. After being in the room for less than 1 hour we were sweating buckets and kids were sneezing like crazy.
Hubby and I decided to find another place down the road with better air. We didn't care if we had to pay another place coz we would have not survived the night if we stayed.

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels across the US and other countries. Even with us having stayed in $20 motels in Florida, this motel took the cake as the cheapest - looking stay appearance wise. The bed isn't a real bed, but a cot with a mattress. The inside of the room reminds me of a dodgy dental office for some reason. The shower looked a bit sketch, so we just didn't use it. But it is a room with a bed, so it suited our needs for a place to sleep (though $200 for two nights during off season still seems about a $100 too much). I wouldn't want to spend my whole beach vacation here though.

The staff person Mo was the only good thing about the entire stay. He was extremely nice and helpful and did his best to make everything comfortable

Otherwise, the property is in terrible condition. It needs a thorough cleaning and repairs. Broken door knobs. Mold in the shower. broken toilet seat. Broken microwave handle. filthy filthy this place hasn’t been swept or mopped in probably months. It was absolutely filthy. I had to clean myself. There is no housekeeping service There are no amenities here at all. The ice machine is broken.

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. My children loved it even more. The employees were amazing. Mo especially was a great help. I was heading out during a tornado watch and I explained my worries. He gave some great suggestions and asked that I not worry. He understood that I was single mama with my children on our first getaway. When we arrived he was so pleasant and helped us to our room. The board walk was literally a 3/4 min walk. The pool area was great and we got to meet great people there as well. The kids felt safe to sleep in the room. And the first comment from my kids was “wow it’s clean” my kids are germaphobic. Overall amazing. I look forward to going again with the kids. Thank you again Mo you truly are a blessing !
