Probably the best hospitality experience of my life. The first and most important part of this hotel is the manager, Nel. Right from the get go she was there for us making sure everything was perfect. Honestly she felt more like a host, or your favorite aunt than anything. Checked on us, always got us clean towels and sheets, laughed and joked with us, you could just tell she cared. Because of her, we will book a room here every year to follow for Daytona Supercross. This was one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in even the bathroom corners were clean. The management showed unusual pride in this establishment and it showed. If you're looking for high end hotel, this is not your place, but if you’re looking for a reasonably priced place with a heated pool and great view, I think you’ll enjoy a stay here. FYI, no elevator.

I can honestly say it was the best hotel I’ve stayed where the AC worked extremely well. For the first time I had to actually turn off cause I was too cold which is odd to say. This was a last minute spur of the moment trip. When booking I didn’t think about the fact that my mom cannot climb stairs so when we got to the location, it was very appreciated that Nell worked to get us on a ground floor room, even though that limited our view to the water. however, we could walk just a very few steps and see the water and we could pull our chairs out from the patio area and see it. It is a pet friendly hotel they even brought dog bowls to the room for our dog. I was a little disappointed that they don’t actually have a spot for the dogs to use the bathroom on the property. You have to walk down the street or away from the property, which is not convenient. It also says that pets can’t be left behind in the room, which makes it difficult to go to dinner or out on the beach because not every place will accommodate animals.
The room was very clean, especially for a place that often has animals. Beach access was right there and a small pool was just enough area to be relaxed and not among the hustle and bustle of the bigger hotels. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Flamingo Inn is a cute little boutique hotel recently updated even the smallest room had a bed or two with a table and chairs, coffee pot, fridge and microwave either a little porch or balcony. Very nice little hotel right on the beach. Room was very clean and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. All you had to do was ask and they’d give you whatever you needed and would clean the room as needed. Access to the beach was very easy. Only complaints is that the parking lot was very small and would be tight for large vehicles. You’re guaranteed one space per room. And no elevator. I knew it didn’t have an elevator when I booked it so no big deal. Just several steps to top floor which is three floors. This is definitely a good place to stay for people not wanting to pay the prices of the big resorts. I liked it so much I extended two days.

We were welcomed with a tour and one of the most hospitable people, Nellie, I've ever met. The rooms are newly renovated, and the place is immaculate. The view from the pool is great, and the vibe is very cute and quiet. We will definitely be back. A hidden gem.

A lot of trash in parking lot trash was not contained correctly. Shower was small constantly hitting wall or sticking to curtain. Photos on Expedia shows a small kitchen which was the reason I picked to stay there. WiFi didn’t work couldn’t watch tv. I will not be coming back

Your within walking distance for liquor store WI Dixie and several restaurants.. And about 3/4 of a mile from the boardwalk.. If your looking for that laid back family vibe this is the place you have been looking for...

The lady at the front desk was just wonderful. Accommodating to the max. And Friendly as can be. We only spent half of a day on property as we were busy outside of the hotel. We would have given a higher rating but are a bit discouraged because our room was supposed to be paid in full and we received a 21 dollar charge on our card for house cleaning. The only time they did house cleaning was after we left. Never paid before for that. They never went into our room and cleaned while we were there. And to my understanding that is what the charge is for. Since we were not on property they didn't enter the room. Offered when we returned and we declined as it was only the bed needed straightening, and we were going to bed anyways. lol

What a great experience! Nell (front desk and wearer of many hats) was great! We haven't been to this area of Florida in a few years. It was nice to see this hotel still operating. Rooms were very clean. We are looking at heading back in a few months and staying again!
