The 2 bedroom house was great. I have to be honest at 1st i thought it was a little sketchy, since i booked through 1 motel and when i called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation at 1st but eventually did. Then i was told i had to check in at a different motel to get the key to the house. It all ended up working out and the guy was super nice the house was very clean and everything was great just no washer or dryer i like to wash my clothes before going home so i don't have to do a bunch of laundry right after i get home. Bed was very comfortable and the pillows where great not flat. Full kitchen was great gas stove full size fridge. I would definitely book again.

I had the best stay with anchor hotel ! I rented out a beach house from them and it was literally the nicest little house! Everything is right there in walking distance with all of the fun amenities including the beach and boardwalk ! Will most definitely be staying there again.

this was the first time my boyfriend and i stayed somewhere alone. as always we wanted a place, safe, clean, and cheap and we got all of that at Anchor Motel. We were skeptical at finding a motel that was good but Anchor was everything we were looking for.

Staff was kind and welcoming, the Motel was a short walk away from the Seaside Heights Boardwalk, directly next to the fire/police station, the atmosphere was safe and accommodating, the pool was clean, it was a nice retreat after a long day of walking the beach, boardwalk, games, rides, food and many margaritas. The anchor motel was perfect for my quick beach getaway. The staff and owners are such a sweet family. The room was very simple but it was clean, the shower had great water pressure, the A/C was cold, and the bed was comfortable! I was super cozy in my room. I will be returning and I already recommended the place to a few friends!

We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and were pleasantly surprised how roomy it was compared to the pics. Overall very clean, comfortable beds and easy access to the boardwalk. Only downside was a couple of nights/early mornings young kids upstairs stomping around overhead but that is the parents fault! Hosts were great. Thank you Anchor for an enjoyable stay!

Pretty nice motel close to the boardwalk and beach. Does not have beach passes, but isn’t the biggest deal. Parking lot was a little tight but there was always somewhere to park. Close enough to the beach where it’s walkable but also far away enough to not hear all the boardwalk noise. Bathroom was a little small but everything was clean. Overall a decent price if you’re looking for something clean and close to the beach/boardwalk. Would definitely stay again!

Overall our stay at Anchor Motel was great, however there were some stains on the sheets and comforters which didn’t bother us much since we brought our own blanket. The bathroom was surprisingly very clean but the toilet was a little wobbly.

It was a smaller room but just fine for my boyfriend and I. The service was great very friendly and even went above and beyond to offer us parking for our last day so we could get back on the beach for a few hours. The only downside was the towels and some other things in the room looked a bit dirty. But nothing to crazy still had a wonderful time!

Worst place to stay, the place wasn’t even at the anchor motel, they took me to a house, they were having party upstairs people were trying to break in while I had kids. This was the worst stay i ever had at any place. They overcharge for every stupid thing, I stayed one night and that’s one night too many, I didn’t sleep because the people upstairs were jumping around and acting all crazy, worst stay I could ever imagine. I didn’t get an ounce of sleep. Cheapest furniture you can imagine, no towels as well. I’ll never go back

For a one night stay it was a good room. We had a problem with the people upstairs stomping around until about 3:30am until I had enough. I called the place she said she’d get in touch with the security guard. And immediately they stopped upstairs. When checking out the woman at the front desk said we could leave our car in the parking lot if we were planning to go to the boardwalk which was so nice, it saved us some money of having to pay for parking. This place was I believe 3 blocks from the boardwalk which lead you right to the pier. All in all I’d stay again for a short trip.

We had a wonderful time. My two adult children and I just wanted to take a weekend getaway to the sea. The motel felt like home and the boardwalk was a few blocks of walk away. Place was horrible. Door would not lock correctl, the owner argued with me until I showed him myself how easy it was to break into with a CC. He did temporary fix then walks away and doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. Peope piss on the outside of the building on the Major road side. Walls are paper thin. We would never stay there again unfortunately.

I stayed for one night on a spur of the moment mid-week beach trip. Be sure to check the total with fees. An advertised rate of $109 was over $150 total.
The double room I stayed in was clean. The deadbolt did not lock and the security chain was too short to actually slide in place. The window AC unit was powerful and kept the room comfy. Shower was hot and good water pressure. The toilet was nearly unusable. I’m a tiny person and had to sit side-saddle to use it or my knees banged into the wall.
If you arrive late or don’t have a compact car, you will park across the street and down the block.
There is no coffee maker in room and no coffee provided by the hotel.
WiFi was not functional during my stay.

Very clean facility. The pool was small but clear and clean. The staff was extreemly friendly and helpful. The other guests were friendly. It is a nice hotel close to the boardwalk, 5 min walk. It is at the end of the boardwalk so getting on the beach was a little further than i thought but still only a 15 min walk. It is a very nice place to stay, just a basic room which is all i needed for my stay. I would stay here again.

Front desk reception was polite and made check in very easy. Parking was also not a problem, if there front parking is full just walk in and they will guide you to another Parking area that you can park at. Rooms are not, wish I would have scheduled it ahead of time so it would have been as expensive but it is what it is. Overall great stay!

Worst hotel ever

Teenagers were allowed to use the room directly above us. They were stomping on their floor, our ceiling. It was so loud I called the manager each night (3) we were there. He said each time he would talk to them. The noise would stop for a few minutes, then the stomping start again. It is an old motel in poor condition. We did not get much sleep. Bear in mind the time was between 11:00 and 2am. My personal recommendation is don't stay here. I am a New Jersey Air Guard vet who has stayed at many hotels in my career and this was the worst.

I work at a hotel so i know what to check for with cleanliness. The room was very clean, the hotel was right next to a police station which is good. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was there was an aggressive person staying there that started problems with us when we parked to check in. The cops were called and it was taken care of by hotel staff.
Small but clean, id stay there again for a weekend.

We were traveling through on our wat up to Maine. We saw they had a room available and booked it. It was wonderful and both JDs had excellent customer service skills. One of the bartenders from Beachcombers had said that this is one of the better hotels to stay at. We found ice available at the 711 a block away. The room had a frig and microwave. Everything was clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

Keeping in mind this is Seaside Heights the Anchor was nice, clean and for the most part quite. Rooms were a tad small ( if you are taller than 6 feet you will have to sit sideways on the toilet) mabey that was just our room. The pool was on the small side but very clean. Very friendly owners. This is about my 6th motel over the years and I would stay again.

We had a great stay at the Anchor Motel! The room was clean, had plenty of space, great air conditioning and was as advertised. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, even running after us when we left AirPods in the room after checkout. Very short walk from the boardwalk and beach, not necessary to drive. Only having one parking spot per room was a struggle as there is not much parking in surrounding streets. We are very satisfied with our stay!

I would only stay here again for one night at most. The bathroom is extremely small; we couldn’t even fit all the way into the shower, and we had to sit sideways to fit on the toilet. The mattresses were cheap and the bedding was thin and felt like plastic. There were only two small windows, so it kind of felt like a jail cell. We were also charged much more than what was initially stated. One positive thing I can say is that the room was clean, and the beds didn’t have any bugs. Other than that, it really wasn’t great.

While the location to the boardwalk and the beach was excellent, the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. Our room especially…the door to outside didn’t close completely. No decor on the walls, lamp didn’t work. A/C was great! Felt a little like an old utility closet turned into a room for extra income. The man at the desk was lovely and so kind. Pool was teeny tiny and most of time guests were drinking and smoking by it so not a place to hang out. The immediate area around hotel was a little sketchy. Lots of F bombs by locals and drunk people at night. Despite all of this, we had a great time on the beach and boardwalk, but would NOT stay here again.
