Was concerned after reading some pretty horrible reviews on Google that'd we'd be sleeping in bugs & nastiness for 3 nights..that was NOT the case. Maybe we lucked up by staying in the first room next to the office. It does appear that people do live there full time but all of those people were in a very back building. The room was dated , however, it was very clean including sheets, towels, blankets, bathroom, etc. Breakfast was basically coffee, cereal, a sweet and a fruit each day. Room was comfortable & met our needs. Staff up front was very friendly & was able to answer questions we had about the area since we had never been there before.

The property itself looked deplorable. I requested one qeen bed, then got there and the room was not available. I was given another room with 2 queen beds, but it did not have a microwave. I travel for work so certain amenities are important. I asked management if the room was recently cleaned. I was told yes. I entered the room and it had not been touched for awhile because dirt, hair, and dust was on everything. I do not recommend.

The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was okay, but the heat was off when I got there in 17 degree weather, and took a while to warm up. The door only had the deadbolt and no other locks, so I didn't feel completely secure. Also, the floor around the bathroom was sunken in underneath the linoleum and felt like it would collapse eventually.

Where is my deposit?

I was charged a deposit of $25 and was told 3-5 business days for the refund. The refund never came.

The room was just a room. It was an $80 hotel, no expectations, but the bed was old and uncomfortable.

They advertise breakfast but it was nothing more than Frosted Flakes, individually packaged honey buns and a cluster of bananas.

Mold and mildew on walls and in the bathroom. A/C unit physically damaged and air coming out smelled of mildew. Showerhead was broken, bathroom floor was spongy, towel rack was on the floor, also broken. Wood shelving under the TV also broken. Then there were the bed bugs everywhere. I don't see how the state hasn't shut the place down. We did not stay, and they have a no refund policy displayed several places in the office. Will not be back.

I do not recommend this property. I felt unsafe because there were people randomly sitting in their cars late at night. Kids running around and not being politely quite. The room was nasty with Vasoline under the bed, ceiling paint falling off, floors and furniture were dirty. I'll never stay their again.

Myself and a very good friend have been coming to this Rodeway Inn for the past Six years during the month of May, so that we can attend The Findlay Military Show at the Hancock County Fairgrounds as vender's.
We have been fortunate to be assigned the same room (126) each visit. Renovation's to make each room more comfortable seems to be an ongoing thing, because I have noticed subtle changes each time I settle in my room. I have personally spoken with Mr. Narendra (the General Manager, Rodeway Inn, Findlay) and have complimented him on many occasions about the great condition of this particular Rodeway Inn. During this recent stay, after checking out, my friend inadvertently left behind a medical device on a dresser next to the TV. Mr. Narendra notified me as soon as he found out about the mishap. I gave a big thank you to the cleaning staff and Mr. Narendra. This is just one of the reason's why I travel all the way from Niagara Falls, NY to Findlay, OH and stay at the Rodeway Inn. And I will continue to stay at the Rodeway Inn each time I go to Findlay, OH. Thank you Mr. Narendra for a comfortable and a safe place to stay while visiting Findlay, OH.

Immigrants live here full time. This should be considered an apartment complex instead of a hotel. The bathroom toilet didnt go down very well when flushed, and thought the toilet was going to overflow couple of times-thank god we didnt have to go #2. The comforter on one of the beds had several holes in it, looked to be burn holes possibly from a previous person who smoked. I must say that the heat/air did work great, had no problems there.

A clean,budget room

It is hard to rate the Rodeway...due to a couple of conflicting factors. First, the good news: The room was clean, the beds were comfortable(the sheets were kind of cheap), the bathroom, though small, was clean & had decent towels, and there were no real issues with noises(which I feared). The desk person was very nice...a bit humorless...but nice.
The \"not so good\" news: The view/photo from the website was MUCH NICER than the actual motel...As I pulled up to the motel, my stomach churned a bit. The actual visual of the motel inspires less that positive thoughts. Perhaps because it is older...from the 1950s/60s...and such establishments are portrayed...poorly...in TV shows/movies...it does not inspire confidence in one's choice. The reviews were not horrible, and neither was my stay. It is a discount motel. I got what I paid for. At the end of the day, the small room was clean and functional. The bathtub drained slowly, but it was not disgusting or anything. My sleep was fine & uninterupted. My entertainment-inspired fears were not grounded in reality. Would I stay here again...I am not sure, but that is mainly because I fear that I have become a bit to bourgeois...

Shabby but Sleepable

This place has a Triple A endorsement at the front desk, but it's a questionable property. I've stayed here twice and both stays were on the isolated, back side of the property, across from a place with lots of loud motorcycle traffic.

In room lighting is poor, especially in the sink area outside the bathroom. The shower curtain is just cloth and saturated quickly, leaving a large puddle that exposed a big yellow stain in front of the toilet. Towels were small and worn.

Air conditioner worked sporadically, but kept the room cool enough for some sleep.

Didn't bother with the breakfast, as it was all starchy cereal.

Fridge and microwave in room worked and that was a plus.
