Great location, staff, and value.
Jim
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff
Dan
My wife had surgery at the local hospital. Convienent location from the hospital. Pleasant front desk staff and pretzels on my pillow.
Jennifer
The hotel is gorgeous inside and out and is in a nice part of downtown Findlay. The room was clean, spacious, updated, and very comfortable. Drawbacks to this hotel are the lack of complimentary breakfast and the required, fee based valet parking. The sign says $19/day but I was charged $24/day, not including gratuity.
JOSEPH
Very cordial and attentive.
Danielle
This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at, and this is in comparison to the Aria in Las Vegas. The lobby was gorgeous, the rooms were clean with well thought out amenities and a spacious bathroom. Every detail was taken into account in the design of this hotel.
Zackary
I travel a ton for work and this hotel is one that I repeatedly go back to for family trips (usually on the way to somewhere else but it’s a good stopping point). Always clean, quiet, and in town enough to walk to get some dinner. Staff is top tier from vallet to the cleaning crew. 10/10 recommend.
Sarah
Excellent spot to explore, great bang for the buck! Definitely will return
Torrie
My absolute favorite place to stay thus far! Clean, beautiful, spacious room (we stayed in King room) with all sorts of comforts to include plush robes, a large shower with waterfall showerhead, and a beautiful soaking tub! Every inch of the room was clean and well designed. The bed and bedding were plush and incredibly comfortable! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, even with my very late arrival! The valet parking was a wonderful touch! I cannot wait to stay here again!
Carl
That room was on another level that the most elegant pocket door for restroom I have ever seen will more than likely stay there next visit.
VICKI
The Hotel is quite beautiful and is such a treat to stay over for a day. Absolutely lovely bed and glamorous walk in shower. Its my second stay and will not be my last.
Rick
Beautiful hotel in downtown Findlay, Ohio. Tastefully decorated, great staff, comfortable rooms.
Kevin
Great hotel!
Lisa
Breakfast was delicious. Room was spacious. I loved the valet service. I wish the shower seat would of been bigger for my handicap daughter.
Kathryn
Don’t miss dining at the hotel restaurant, Mancy’s!
Andrew
Clean. Professional. Great ambience
Timothy
Perfect stay! Highly recommend!
Jane
Amazing hotel at fabulous price. Loved it!
Deborah
Great location, wonderful room!
Sandy
Rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bar is nice (we didn't eat at the restaurant) All the staff is friendly and helpful. I personally don't like to have to valet park, but the attendants did a great job! The hotel is near many restaurants and shops which is very convenient. We would definitely stay hear again.
John
I was greatly disappointed based on the reviews and appearance of the building. The room was ok with the exception of the shower and the overwhelming smell of mold/mildew. I stayed 2 nights, after the first night I stopped at the desk and requested some fresh towels and for the trash to be emptied as it contained carry out from the previous night. After an extremely long and tiring day I returned to the room only to discover nothing had been done, wet towels were still on the bathroom floor, they were saturated because the shower leaks and the room smelled of stale carry out as the trash had also gone untouched.
Very minor requests that went ignored, definitely won't be staying there again...

Great location downtown making walking easily accessible to local shops and restaurants. Rooms are updated and well maintained. Staff is very accommodating to guest needs.

Great location and great service
Kelli
A beautiful and relaxing hotel. The valet staff went out of the way to help me find my keyfob in my car! I appreciate all of the help! This is my go-to home away from home. Amazing staff, beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for another amazing stay!
Jennifer
Excellent getaway, never disappoints
Theodore
I was impressed with cleanliness and staff. Would highly recommend
Matt
Weekend price excellent, valet parking price will be added. No breakfast offered. Coffee in lobby was very good. Very clean, high end feel.
Patricia
The staff at the counter was super friendly. However the tv at the room was not working and it took for ever for a staff to pick up the phone to request to fix the tv.
Matthew
This hotel was excellent. Everything about the stay was great. The valet was convenient and prompt. We never had to wait longer than 5-7 minutes for the car to arrive after requesting it on the app. The room was spacious and we we able to comfortably fit a roll-away for one of our children. The steakhouse in the hotel was great. They even had an exceptional weller antique 107 pick that is rare to find.
Bethany
We love coming here. The rooms ar2 always clean and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown.
Vikki
The bar had excellent food and service.
Jessica
The room was clean but we were having breathing issues at night. Likely due to the dust in the room. Saw dust fall from the curtains when we opened them. Amenities were average for the price of the hotel. Wish there was a self park option.
Christopher
It was an amazing stay from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out
Abby

Lovely hotel with a great attached restaurant in Mancy’s and a lively bar. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We love staying at the Hancock when we are in Findlay.
Vincent
Great site nestled in historic downtown Findlay! Walk to a number of different restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel was excellent, loved the fully equipped gym!
Eugenie
Very nice place to stay
Lisa
The Hancock Hotel is a true gem. The staff are outstanding—personable and so helpful. I highly recommend staying here!
Lucy
Great location
Nicole
This is a beautiful hotel. Highly recommended.
Brittney
This hotel is definitely beautiful. We stayed in an executive suite with a gorgeous bathtub, which was one of the reasons I booked the hotel. I came into town to visit my husband while working in town for two days and we ended up checking out a day early. The noise from the street was so loud I was not able to sleep most of the night. I then had to work from the hotel room the next day and again the traffic sounds like it’s inside the hotel room. It’s so loud. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they did absolutely nothing about it and offered no alternative. My husband and I checked out a night early so that I could go somewhere else and get some sleep. I would also like to add for such a nice Hotel, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the sheets were horrible. Although the hotel was decorated very nicely, the comfort level was horrible. I would not stay here again.

Top notch all the way around

I did not use the menus, room service or amenities.

Room was amazing!
Kelli
Peaceful, clean, safe and beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Hancockis a very classy hotel.

The A/C had a hard time keeping our room cool (68) despite it being cooler outside. Also the shower only had the curtain to block water, so our floors got drenched when we used it. Even turning the shower head towards the wall didn't help much. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean

I’ve stayed at The Hancock Hotel in Findlay twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. This beautiful, historically inspired property feels far more upscale than its price suggests — truly a hidden gem offering boutique-level comfort at about a Holiday Inn rate. The rooms are elegant, the atmosphere warm and refined, and the service consistently attentive. While the valet parking can seem a bit pricey for the area, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Findlay — it’s easily one of the best stays in Northwest Ohio.

Hancock Hotel continues to provide excellent service with a beautiful hotel at a great price. Highly recommend!!

Once again, the hotel is a beautiful hotel from the outside to the inside, including the room. The staff was very pleasant, including the valet and would recommend to anyone.

Many items went wrong:
1. I tried to check in, however, since my wife paid with her Credit Card, they would not allow me to check in. I have never had an issue like this. In addition, the front desk agent was unprofessional.
2. There was no description that indicated that the parking was valet only and the cost to park was $30. This is just a hidden hotel fee in my opinion. Very deceptive. Would not have selected this hotel if I knew this was the case.
3. The ice machines were not working.
4. The walls were paper thin. We woke up at 1am to the guest in the room next to us blaring the TV. Although the security took care of it, this was very disruptive to our sleep.
5. The compressor on the mini fridge had an issue and every time it came on, there was a high-pitched sound similar to a fire alarm.
6. For such a supposedly \"up-scaled\" hotel the towels were more appropriate for a car wash. Poor quality, size and only two towels were provided!
We had very little sleep, hidden charges, and the guest service agent was unprofessional. Not the place we want to return to. Very dissapointing.

We were in Findlay Ohio for an arts event and stayed at the Hancock Hotel. This was a first class stay at a first class hotel. Everything was very high end at a very reasonable price. It's great to see a full service restaurant, every amenity you might need, and attentive and helpful staff. We would recommend this facility for work or play.
Dan

This property was amazing! The front desk and valet staff were so accommodating. I was there Jan 9-11 and was surprised to see that there were still Christmas decorations were still on display. I loved the small town and cozy feel of this property!

The beds were not comfortable for the rate of the hotel.

First time staying here and to say the least I was not impressed. The hotel was extremely busy and parking was Valet only. No problem with that but it was New Year’s Eve one of the busiest night of the year and they only had two people working valet. Those workers were working their tails off and you could tell they were trying their best. Props to you guys! I checked in at 4pm and I was told my room was not ready. Not a problem. It would be maybe 30 minutes. I checked back in after 30 minutes. After checking multiple times. Almost two hours later the room was ready. My group missed our 6pm dinner reservation. And the plans for the evening were already at a downfall and rushed at this point. I get up to the room. The room appears clean for the most part but there was what looked like fruit snacks on the floor in the corner. Bits of paper here and there as well. But I had just waited 2 hours for my room there was no way I was getting a different room at this point. The next morning again. Valet was backed up and those two workers were working their tails off. We were not going to be able to get our cars until at least another hour if not more there was so many people in the lobby all waiting on valet. So we got our keys and walked to the garage ourselves and got our cars. Not impressed with the lack of preparation, cleanliness and lack of communication throughout the stay.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The property was very nice, well maintained, and exceptionally clean. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the common areas were just as tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a pleasant and stress-free stay, and we would definitely stay here again.

This was my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in—cleaner and more comfortable than the Westin or Hilton in my opinion. I absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Findlay!
Jackson
The reservations staff corrected an error in our reservation without any issues or hassle. We would have been out hundreds of dollars if they had not helped us. We really appreciated the customer service focus.

Top flight hotel just two miles from usual chain hotels. Quiet, safe location adjacent to Marathon Oil offices offers superb service and excellent food. It has been our go to accommodation for last five years (since we discovered it) for a night of rest and comfort after family visits. Can’t wait to visit again.
