When we drove up the property looked so bad we didn’t bother to check in. My wife read a review stating bed bugs were found on the property. We decided to eat the cost of the room and checked into a hotel across the street that was well maintained and clean.

We have stayed in Choice hotels in the past, none looked like this one. It is disappointing that Choices quality has slipped to this level.

We slept very well here - king bed was quite comfy with extra pad on mattress.

This property is in the midst of a major remodel and seems to have fallen down on maintenance during this period. The exterior stairs were dirty and poorly lighted in the daytime (enclosed with no lights so when you enter the stairs from the bright outdoors you can't see. The stairs are also in poor repair and uneven; not safe. The breakfast is minimal and uninspiring, but the coffee was good.

First and foremost, it was not advertised nor mention that the entire property was under renovation and while I did have one of the new rooms there was construction going on all around me. Just be prepared until renovations are fully done. I had to use my full body to get the door open and to close it along with the bathroom door would not close and the brand new tub was actually leaking.

Nice clean room, newly reburbished, and a friendly and helpful check-in person. But check-in took over 30 minutes. The hotel had the reservation, but had not received the payment I made. The problem was supposedly caused by a payment service in Dubai. The clerk told us it was the second time this week that this had happened. In fairness, let me add that I only made the reservation 3 hours before arriving. But a good computer system should have been able to handle that.

The staff was very nice and they welcomed our dog as a last minute addition to our room with no issues. The room was very clean and nicely updated. The bathroom was a bit small but it worked for what we needed. The only complaint that we had was the breakfast. They kept the most minimal items available (ex. one biscuit, etc.). We ended up going to one of the local restaurants nearby both mornings. All in all, we will stay here again when visiting family.

My room was newly renovated and clean, which was great. The AC/Heater was a bit noise, but it helped cancel out the interstate traffic noise. Breakfast had good choices.
Parking is a bit tight if you pull a trailer. And the lights on the stairs to the upper floor did not work, which was a bit concerning.

2wks of travel, ran into sev storm on way home, Needed clean place sleep/brush teeth…bed seemed clean, was comfortable, sink functioned. 1:30am arrival=call to have someone come check-in=fine. Allowed use of lobby bath=not ADA compliant, no towels/dryer. Needed ice-too bad-locked in lobby=oh well. Upon first entering rm, no lights working. Light switch which activates outlet, w/floor lamp-switch turned off. Again=ok, but definitely not safe for solo travelers. Light on desk-also not working-wasn’t plugged into 4-place outlet full from fridge, micro, TV, Cof Maker=plan better w/remodel/furn placement-have Fridge cord reach adt’l outlet just short way down same wall; potential fire hazard. Started finding “bits and pieces”-old, but still inflated balloon(not shoved btwn bed/wall or some hidden corner-laying in plain view flr btwn chair/bed. Strange, not too disgusting. Reached under desk to plug in lamp, room pen laying on ground among cords, dust/dirt. Obvs hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned/staged. New vanity doesn’t completely fill space=2” gap, personal items likely will fall into, full of dust/cobwebs. Some gross looking piece of who-knows-what laying on flr btwn chair&heating/cooling unit. Breakfast=gross pkgd omelettes/yogurt. Bef checkout time, man at door asking if ckng out-couldn’t see who due to broken peep hole. Storm deluge flooded parking lot already full of ship conts (presumably for remodel) Now waiting for $50 inc chg to be refunded to my bank. QUITE unsatisfied :(

The first room they gave me had an unusual odor to it, probably from someone smoking in there and they tried to airate the room. It was not pleasant. They moved me as soon as I mentioned my disatisfaction with the odor. The other room was better, though still not as fresh as one would hope for. But it was clean and amenable for my one night purposes. The breakfast was also adequate.

It was updated rooms. We stay in hotels frequently and this motel was as nice if not nicer. Everything worked well. The parking was nice. The bed was very comfortable. The shower took a little longer to heat up in our room, but once it did, it was nice and hot. It was very clean. The staff are very friendly. They offer a free breakfast in the lobby and it was actual breakfasts with many choices. The last 2 expensive hotels we stayed in didn't offer any breakfast for free. Not even coffee!

If youre someone who spends a lot on hotels, i recommend giving the Quality inn a chance. Youll save money and its just as nice.

Will definitely come back

There was barely any food in the breakfast area because outside contractors who weren’t staying on property ate it all and would push their way in front of you when fresh was brought out. People were sitting in their cars doing drunks and drinking all night. There was trash everywhere and the trash cans in the stairwells weren’t emptied multiple days in a row. The lighting in the stairwells was terrible and most of the time didn’t work. The rooms were in poor shape. The water pressure was terrible in the shower. The faucet for the sink didn’t work. The “heater” barely worked. If o could get a refund I would. Don’t go there unless your life depends on it and even then think twice. The one night shift girl was the only bright spot of the entire stay. She was extremely friendly and very apologetic with the terrible check in that was not her fault.

This is an example of you get what you pay for. The room here was quite inexpensive. So, if you want a clean room in a fairly well-located motel and you are not concerned about the amenities then this place is fine. The room included a free breakfast too which would have been great but for the fact that at the time I went to breakfast, which was between 7:30 am and 7:45 am that the vibes were shady getting scarce and there was no effort to restock. See photos. Now there was still enough to get a decent breakfast out of it but I would have thought that if breakfast went until 9:00 or 9:30 am that would have replenished the food offerings. Plus we specifically ordered a queen size bed. It seemed that the bed we got was not queen size. I did not have a tape measure but laying across it sideways with my 5'9\" body and my shoulders drooped off the end. It was long enough. I asked the people at the front desk and they told me that that room showed that the bed was what we ordered. In our opinion it was not. It was otherwise comfortable though. Another problem was that there were workers standing on the sidewalk between the main door and our room starting around 6am talking and laughing. I slept through it but my wife didn't. There was another inconvenience but bottom line is, I didn't pay for the taj mahal. I have stayed there before with fewer issues. But this stay was greatly disappointing.
