Humid room. Smelled of cigarette smoke. No orientation given regarding ice machine etc… was robotic checking us into the property. Owners no doubt live on the property. You have to call a private phone number to check in if no one at the desk.

Never again.

The exterior of the hotel looks worn out but is very clean, and the room was amazing, brand new furniture and crisp white linens, fresh clean smell and beautiful, we were pleasantly surprised and we did choose this hotel because of the excellent rating and low price. We will surely come back on our next road trip from Canada on I-75S!

As many others have said in their reviews, the outside is nothing to write home about. But when you enter the room, you’re greeted with a fresh scent and a VERY clean room. Both bedroom and bath are spotless. And they have DirecTV, so I knew all the stations. No worries at all about staying here.

Door would Not lock 5 days, bathtub drain plugged, no housekeeping for 7 days, I took towels down n brought clean ones back up, as I did trash.
When they unplugged tub the dude left the towels on the BR floor-we cleaned it up.
Day after they fixed the door it was broken.
BR door shut n locked, the doornob on was put on backwards.
Dump, shoddy at best.
Best Western should be Ashamed to have its name attached.

Price is cheaper than most and it shows. Although my room was clean, updated, had a comfortable bed and was quiet, it is basically an old motel that has been refurbished. Breakfast is not really much, but you can grab a bagel or cereal. I used the in-room coffee maker after tasting the coffee offered with the breakfast. It's a deal if you don't mind having a door to your room open right up to the outside.

Absolutely deplorable conditions. The shower was leaking everywhere, and my husband almost slipped and fell. The room smelled of cigarettes and there were bums and drug addicts hanging around. The staff gave us another room, but it was more disgusting than the first. The smell was so bad that I felt like throwing up. Staff gave our friends who were staying in another room a refund but would not give me a refund. We ended up leaving because of the conditions and due to safety concerns.

If you are looking for clean and basic accommodations, this hotel will meet your needs. The room was clean with comfortable beds. However, we stayed several nights and had no housekeeping done for our entire stay, so if you want someone to make your beds and clean your room daily, you're out of luck. The outside of the hotel is pretty run down, but the room itself was recently remodeled. There were signs in the \"lobby\" that if you needed help that you had to call a phone number - we got lucky when we checked in and there was an actual person in there. The hotel advertises breakfast, but it consists of a few pieces of bread and bagels, a few mini muffins, and some OJ and coffee. The A/C worked well, but we couldn't adjust the temperature at all despite there being a thermostat, so it was actually pretty cold in our room. So, if you value cleanliness but no frills, this is an okay place to stay.

Great hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was super clean, and I like having my car right outside of my door. Love the fridge and microwave in the room. I would have left five stars, but the coffee pot water reservoir looked like someone had poured coffee into it, and I could not make coffee in my room because it was unusable.

Great Place to Sleep Off “Coaster Lag”!

Awesome motel that’s ideal after a long weekend at Cedar Point. OUTSTANDING shower; I couldn’t believe how snazzy it was for the price. Comfortable beds and room temperature. I didn’t hear a peep despite the close proximity to the interstate. Check-in/check-out were a breeze and they keep tasty coffee on deck in the office. The exterior of the motel has wear but the room was clean and up-to-date. BellStores is nearby, which has a great selection of to-go food and local craft beers. All in all, this place is a winner for the budget-conscious traveler and I’d happily stay here again.

SureStay? I will surely not stay there again.

The location of the property is not ideal, as it is somewhat out of the way. During my stay, I experienced several issues that impacted comfort and rest. The room’s air conditioner made a continual clicking noise, the outside lighting was very bright and shone into the room at night, and the phone charging port did not function. Additionally, the rooms were consistently noisy, not due to guest activity, but from plumbing and water-related sounds within the walls.

Subject: Unacceptable Treatment at Hotel – Denied Check-In for My Spouse and Child

My wife and daughter were traveling cross-country and arrived at this hotel after 11 p.m., only to be denied check-in because the reservation was made under my name. Despite my wife being on the phone with me—on speaker—and me clearly verifying that she is my spouse and that the room was intended for her and our daughter, the front desk attendant refused to allow them to check in.

Given the late hour and concern for their safety, I made the unfortunate decision to book a second room in her name, trusting that this would be resolved through Hotels.com and hotel management the next day. I contacted Hotels.com immediately and their representative assured me the issue could be fixed.

Unfortunately, not only was the night staff unreasonably rigid, but the management the next day was equally inflexible and dismissive.

This experience was deeply frustrating and completely avoidable. It reflects a lack of basic customer service, discretion, and compassion—especially toward a mother and child traveling late at night.

I do not recommend this hotel. Travelers, beware.

We arrived late after traveling all day. The person at the desk who checked us in was very pleasant, beyond helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place for a stay.
