Perfect for a getaway!

The staff were attentive and always there to help, without being overbearing.
Pool on the 5th floor was high enough to be quiet enough and not too windy, and the gym was well equipped and spacious with bluetooth headphones.
It would be great if the spa offered sauna and steam room.
Stayed in the exec suite which has ample space to relax on a solo trip. It's a shame the room was facing a soon to be construction site and the less affluent side, but a minor issue. Earplugs were supplied.
Dining options were plentiful from Italian to Asian. And breakfast was very flavoursome with a la carte and buffet opions. Definitely visit the pastry room.
Would stay here again.

Overall our experience was very good. The staff and service was fantastic. The only exception was the Alto restaurant where our experience was terrible - the food was extremely poor and we did not eat it. Equally the service in the Alto restaurant was well below the rest of the hotel. That was the only poor experience and they let the rest of the hotel down. Overall aside from that, our experience was great.

A real life 5 star hotel from start to finish.

After a truly awful trip to Langkawi staying at the tan jun rhu resort - words can not express the feelings of returning back to the 4 seasons an actual real life 5 star resort. Its seems across parts of Asia you can’t count on the star system or descriptions provided by hotels.com. But you can always count on brands you trust. The 4 seasons Jakarta was everything and more it described itself to be. The difference in class of a real 5 star verse made up descriptions was clear- possibly one of the best city hotels in Asia !!!

All suite hotel and the suites are beautiful. Check in desk staff are excellent. Restaurant staff are welcoming and helpful. The only small problem was that when our room was cleaned the staff only left one bath towel and did not replenish the milk for coffee. Staff were very quick to bring these when we called.

Cannot sleep well due to morning chanting at 4am

I had read many positive reviews and decided to stay at this hotel for my recent three-night business trip in Jakarta. Everything went smoothly at first until I was awakened by some loud chanting at 4am. The chanting sound was so loud that it was impossible to ignore, like someone's singing outside of my window. It was a little past 4am, I called the front desk, and was informed it was the daily prayers from the nearby mosques. With all due respect, with this kind of surrounding sound, there is no way I can have a good sleep, especially with jet lag. I spoke to the staff. The gentleman was friendly and offered to bring earplugs.

The second night, I asked to move to the other side of the hotel and a higher floor, and was awaken at the same time. The chanting was even louder than before!

It turns out this hotel is surrounded by at least three mosques... So I was not surprised when the same thing happened again the following night. At that point I was just too tired and felt happy that's my last night at this hotel.

This experience prompted me to write a review, which I rarely do, to give a head-up to the newcomers. Think again if you need undisrupted sleep and are not used to this kind of daily rituals. Otherwise, be prepared to be sleep deprived during the whole trip like me.

I do think the hotel should try to improve its soundproofing of the rooms and give some fair warning to people that are not familiar with the situation.

We stayed for 3 nights on a family trip. Both rooms were well appointed, service was excellent, the restaurants were top notch, with breakfast being a standout. The welcome fruit platter and macarons were a nice touch and the fresh floral arrangements in the lobby infused the whole reception area with a lovely fresh fragrance.

The service was absolutely amazing and I was made to feel so welcomed. Everyone was so thoughtful which I think really separates the Four Seasons from other 5 star hotels. I celebrated my birthday with a trip to Jakarta and was tossing between a few hotels and so glad I decided on the Four Seasons. They made me feel extra special on my birthday! Not to mention the hotel itself is gorgeous and in a great location and feels very safe. Definitely recommend!!

The Four Seasons staff was beyond professional and helpful; living up to the Indonesian reputation for friendliness. Concierge staff (Nova) went above and beyond to walk us to the ATM located at the business center next door. Additionally, she worked with the bar manager to help locate a specific Indonesian liquor that is unavailable in the US. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy fine desserts in the Patisierre. Be sure to inquire about their hours because they close earlier than other dining facilities. Wednesday evenings offers a satay special and live music. We enjoyed the dining on the top floor (Alros) and sat outside which coincided with the evening Isha prayer at the mosque across the street. The 20th floor provides spectacular views of the bright lights and traffic below. The patio off the fine dining restaurant also gives parents an opportunity to enjoy an evening out and provides an area where children will not disturb adult diners indoors. The staff will go above and beyond to make every guest big and small feel welcome.The pool area will provide privacy to enjoy a low key luxury dip in n cool waters. Escaping Jakarta’s socioeconomic disparity is impossible and is the reality.Take a moment to observe the dichotomy of the urban homes behind the hotel; separated by a river and a lush urban forest. Watch closely as guards place money in buckets at the river to shuttle across to buy homemade snacks. Our room was spacious and luxurious but the experience was even better

Arrived on sunday. Dont arrive on sunday. Hotel restaurant open until 2000, last order 1930. Only one restaurant open, the better one closed on sundays. The main bar closed on sundays. We were planning a celebration but had to take our party (and money) to an outside restaurant as we did not plan to stop at 2000. Also the breakfast buffet was very limited, not at all to 5 star american hotel standards. More like a 3 star country hotel in Europe. The staff though were very helpful and friendly.

The quality of the hotel was pretty bad, is very old and looks like they are not trying to improve anything. The room was small and the condition of the facilities were really bad.
The breakfast was not good at all, the minimum cleanliness we expected (even more because of Covid-19) was not reached.
After one night and less than 18 hours in the hotel we decided to leave it and find something better (no matter our reservation didn’t allow us to get a reimbursement).
For sure a hotel we don’t want to visit again ever!

Spacious Room, Amazing stay.

The hotel was relatively new so it was still in pristine condition. Starting off with the front desk: walked in the hotel, a lady came to me and led me to check in, very friendly, service was excellent, well mannered and quick check in no fuss. Went to swim, need to book the pool first as they limit people in there nowadays. Kudos to the people working at the pool area, they saw me coming offered to help me in setting up my cabana with towels right away, and also served water and a new mask. Next day had breakfast at palm court outdoor area, service was relatively prompt as the buffet is now closed and we had to order ala carte from a menu. One thing to note tho, the breakfast was just ok and most stuff were ready made so not the most fresh or hot when it came ( other than omelette ). It is also halal so no pork in the menu. In room breakfast is available too. The room was spacious, well designed, and clean.The spa is still closed but gym and pool were opened. Would recommend this hotel if you are really looking to just chill in the hotel and room ( alto restaurant recommended ) as there are no malls in the nearby vicinity. Bed was medium hard to soft, there was a pillow menu to choose from. Love that the bedroom bathroom and living room are connected thru a door so if you are looking to rest and your partner wishes to watch tv or take a bath, you will not be disturbed.

This was by far the best hotel stay I’ve stayed at. The staff was amazing and went way out of their way to make sure I had everything I need. The bartender and waiters at the Nautilus bar were super friendly. I Felt like I was spending time with the friends. The live music was great and they were able to play things we requested no matter how obscure. Quite an experience. I stayed in a Premier suite and not only was the room beautiful and spacious but the perks that go along dog the room were super generous (ie free laundry service free breakfast and free drinks and 3 apps per person (all the food was delicious) from 6-9 every night. I would without hesitation recommend staying here. Top notch airport level screening and security in a beautiful ornately designed hotel. Truly deserving of their 5 star rating with very reasonable rates. I’ll be back there again in a couple weeks.

Quiet and relaxing, is ok to me with areas there. because we can seeing that activity people there and a lot of things very unique.
amazing room and Very interesting with the new things , but one of my experience is on that day.
The toilet door couldn’t open hehe.
I’m thinking and imagining if that I’m alone inside in the toilet Hotel or, what if the small children at the toilet with the door locked couldn’t open.

We stayed for 2 glorious nights. We flew 27hrs to reach Jakarta so having the luxurious Four Seasons to relax & recover in was a treat! The city view room was lovely, very spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable! Every detail was attended to, slippers, ear plugs, a Nespresso coffee maker, high end toiletries, even a foldable hairbrush. The separate sitting area was very convenient when my husband needed more sleep and I could close the doors & have my coffee without disturbing him. The restaurant & spa were fabulous. We had drinks at sunset at the rooftop bar, a fabulous view. Our concierge, Goro, was exceptional. There wasn't a request that he couldn't fulfill. We booked the Mercedes airport transfer to and from. Well worth the cost.

Luxury with a personal touch

The personal greeting at the door told me my second stay at Four Seasons Jakarta was going to be as exceptional as the first. Most staff members addressed me by name and were obliging without being obsequious. The staff live up to the brands reputation. The rooms were large and well kept and the breakfast, outstanding. Tip: try and get a room facing the pool - it also faces the Telecom building which has a light show in the early evening. Looking forward to returning to this property.

Excellent choice for a city getaway in Jakarta

One of the best experiences in staying at a executive suite. This was very spacious and the access through rooms and toilets was very good. Service was best we’ve ever had and the turndown service in the night was superb, where they clean your room and leave little lamps on ready for bed. Everyone was extremely helpful, forever greeting us. Shuttle to mall was a luxurious MPV with a drop off and pick up on request.

The hotel is consisted of 125 rooms with two located in an office building campus with easy access to other areas .
Rooms : Spacious , luxury and Very well maintained with connecting room options, however Dika at the front desk responded very quick to replacing my room with no connecting doors room.
Breakfast : is very good with 30% international varieties and focus of local and Asian hot food .
Alto Restaurant : Is the fine dining Italian restaurant located on the 17th floor , the restaurant has a very good dinner menu and drinks , Also the restaurant service drink and food to a little outdoor area that facing the street view , a good place to have a drink and enjoy the city view .
Swimming pool is located in the 5th floor, cozy , small with some natural tree shaded area , service and drinks at the pool is excellent .
Concierge and service : during my stay I needed a medication and I took a trip to pacific mall , visited the three pharmacy and could not find the medication , I ask Goro at the concierge and surprisingly Goro did all the logistics needed from contacting pharmacies to arranging delivery of the medication to my room .
The hotel seems to be managed very well with a lot of high level trained staff and perfect team work , I had a two night stays and it was pleasant stay . If you are in Jakarta for a two or three days this hotel is one of the best choices .

Stayed 2 nights. First night they didn’t acknowledge any VIP benefits. Second night, I had to point it out and they gave me an upgrade. Room is nicely decorated and comfortable bed. Surprised there were no welcome amenities. No fruits, or anything special. The area is not convenient for walking.

Amazing stay, the service was outstanding - I was so impressed with the attention I received, and that everyone recognized me and remembered my name. The bartender Darren was particularly memorable with his award winning original drink concoctions.

Always happy coming back!

Everytime I go back to Indonesia and transit in Jakarta, four seasons always welcomes me very well! And my most favourite thing is the quiet environment, awesome room, and very helpful and friendly staff! Plus, breakfast in room!

one of the best hotels in Jakarta

everything about this hotel was perfect, the breakfast and service are great
and it's super clean and comfortable bed, but my only problem was with the location
even it was hard for the local drivers to find the entrance of the building

Very comfortable, very welcoming hotel.

Very good service, with great staff (who actually remember your name, despite it being my first time). Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Restaurants had pretty good food too.
