The stay was decent, the staff kindly put the heat on in the room prior to our arrival as requested.
The room Itself was labelled as a suite but was quite small, it did have a couch and no coffee table.

The walls were stained, we parked our rental car in the car park someone done a hit and run, we asked the to motel to check cameras they said they would took pictures of the damage but after checking cameras they are refusing to help and were very rude to us and started hanging up every time we ring and claim they didn’t take any photos we are now liable for the damage on our rental car DO NOT STAY HERE

We didn’t like the bed sheets has so many stains that were not cleaned properly. Not one sheet there’s were 3 sheets was extremely dirty stains on we asked to be changed at. The two Indian staffs serve the bed sheets don’t speak english which the front office counter staff came in our room .

Front desk counter staff was very rude and disrespectful to us not properly trained at all the way he speak. We’re just asked to get bed sheets change that’s all. His common said we’re not at Marriott Hotel. We paid $211.54 for one night stay its average above.

Believe me we’re not going back or recommend anyone’s because of dirtiness bed sheets and bad management front counter desk staff.

Stayed two nights in Huntsville for the Fall Colours:) Knights Inn is a ‘get what you pay for’ motel. Good price, decent bed, working heater, hot shower. We were happily surprised with main room, new headboard and nightstand, but they forgot to include the bathroom with upgrades… at least throw some paint on that rusty old baseboard heater!!😳😳😳
Breakfast was average.
Plus side: Across the street from a fun little place with live music!!

We had a few issues. We rented a room with a hot tub which is an extra charge and there was barely warm water coming from the tap. When i mentioned it i was dismissed then promptly told i cannot have my service dog in the office because they also serve breakfast there. Which i was about to have. I politely attempted to explain my service dog. Providing my medical note for having her. She was under control and this staff member had no reason to ask us to leave. Staff need to do better. Im a first reaponder who now needs this animal and dont appreciate being discriminated against by people who are unfamiliar with the law and how it involves their job.

Short walk to downtown was great, room very clean. Went for coffee in am, no coffee, 2 less than fresh bagels, and no one around. Very clean, staff were friendly when we met them on arrival. A little pricey but it was short notice booking. Walls are thin but it was peaceful and we had a great time in Huntsville.

If you have your own car the location is fine. Nice enough place, never had an issue with parking, room had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV channels were ok. Only took a star off because neighbours could be easily heard, luckily they got quiet around 11pm.

⭐ Manage your expectations — it’s not terrible, but not great.

I stayed here for two weeks on a work assignment, paying over $2,000. The room appeared clean on entry, but issues quickly added up.

Bedding & Comfort
Pillows gave off that familiar old-bedding smell of scalp and sweat, and were flat “pancakes.” Duvet edges were stained greyish-black, as if never replaced. Bedding was only changed a week in, after I stripped it myself and left it by the door. Curtains had holes, and the air felt damp and heavy without the unit running. No outdoor lighting for units and the passing train made restful sleep difficult.

Housekeeping & Maintenance
Housekeeping only came when my car wasn’t in the lot, so basics like toilet paper were often missed. Fruit flies appeared around the vanity sink. The coffee maker didn’t work — it still had a stale packet from a previous guest, and the “complimentary” package was already opened.

Facilities & Environment
The TV had very limited channels and no pay-per-view. The window screen was popped out, making it unsafe to leave open. Smoking is allowed outside, but balconies aren’t divided, so an overflowing pail of cigarette butts sits as décor. Butts were also scattered in the lot.

Final Note
This is a basic roadside motel, so I knew to expect door-to-outside access. But for the price paid, the lack of upkeep, dampness, and disregard for simple basics dragged the stay down. Manage your expectations — not terrible, not great.

We arrived Monday September 1 at approximately 3:33 Pm and were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who gave us our pass card for the room. The Knights Inn was booked solid and our stay was very quiet and pleasant. Our only complaint would be the lack of ice in the ice machine. We went for ice several times during our stay and the only time we got ice was on the day we were leaving in the morning. We have stayed there before and would go back again.

As seniors with arthritis we were told that our reserved king bed room on ground floor had been \"given away\" and the upper floor was only available. We managed to climb the dozen exterior stairs with luggage but it was difficult for us.

Everything was alright with the room and property, but we spent a couple of nights there and after the first night we had used everything and left garbage and recycling, also used the coffee machine. Next morning we were gone literally all day till about 6 pm, we came back to the room and nothing was refreshed. Beds were not made things used were not replaced and garbage/ recycling was not emptied.

Very clean and cozy place, with friendly staff! Our rooms were also spacious with comfortable beds. The location was great! (Make sure to check out the bbq place across the road from this motel.)
Continental breakfast was good and had your basic items: coffee/tea/juice, toast/waffles/bagels, fruits, cereal, yogurt,…. only one toaster though, so there was a bit of a wait each time someone used it.
Overall, we would highly recommend this place!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Knights Inn in Huntsville. The room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable night. Great quick visit to Huntsville. We stayed one night and had no issues. The breakfast was basic in the morning but actually exceeded our expectations. There was bread and bagels with cream cheese or peanut butter/jam, blueberry & chocolate chip muffins, yogurt, bananas & apple's, orange juice and tea/coffee. For the room, it was a bit tired but really matched to what we were expecting. Either way, we would've hesitate to stay there again.

The room was pretty spacious and the beds gave us such sound sleep. We loved the view from our room window that overlooked the lake. One thing we didn't like was that there was an old blood stain on the inside of the comforter which we thankfully caught in time before the night. We reported it to the staff and they gave us a new one immediately.
Apart from that, everything else was good, not bad for the price we paid.

Avoid Knights Inn Huntsville

The washroom in my first room was dirty, toilet seat with stains and hair. I asked to switch rooms, but you still get what you pay for, mukky carpets, creaky beds. On top of that, the location is noisy, right next to the main road, so sleep was impossible.

The worst part is the service. I spoke with a host named Ken and asked to speak with management. They dodged the request and refused to connect me. When I said I wanted to check out immediately due to the condition of the rooms, they said to talk to Expedia, they won't deal with it.

I checked out the next morning, returned the keys, and made it clear I was leaving, only to find out later they still charged me for the second night. When I called, they admitted no one else was checked into the room, but they kept it under my name and refused to refund me.

Shady business practices, dirty rooms, and rude, unhelpful staff. Never staying at a Knights Inn again, and I recommend you don’t either. Many better hotels in Huntsville that actually offer good service.

I stayed at this roadside motel for a quick stop 2 days. Overall, it’s a decent budget-friendly option, but there are a few things worth noting.

The room was clean and check-in was quick and on time, which I appreciated. However, the bed was not made on next day during my stay — maybe that’s standard policy. Also, one of the lights was flickering, which was a bit annoying, and the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t strong enough to watch sports.

That said, if you’re looking for a clean and affordable place to rest for a night or two, this motel gets the job done.

easy check in, however the toilet wasn't working properly and the TV wasn't working properly, however, after walking to the office and speaking directly with a staff member, they came back to the room to resolve the deficiencies in the room. we only stayed one night.
smoking outside the room is allowed with large smoking butt pails. so if you prefer the smell of clean air, keep this in mind. they are also a pet friendly hotel, so keep in mind the sound of dogs potentially barking. this is across from the river so a nice view. staff are pleasant and accessible to resolve any issues.
