Was just what we needed. Quiet, private, the games room was really well thought out and the pool was clean and well kept.

Second time staying this year. First time was in August, we stayed in the “Chalet” but this time (October) we stayed in a 2-bedroom. Much nicer and more private than the Chalet. We saw many deer and wild turkeys around the property and it was lovely overall. It was our 15th wedding anniversary and although I sent a message to the property about that, asking about firewood for the fireplace, they did not respond. So they aren’t the best at communicating but we had a quiet nice anniversary nonetheless. Got firewood in Huntsville.

Nice resort with a nice and private beach, staff were nice and they accommodated my EV charging which made getting there and back home a lot easier. Our cottage had a lot of flies inside like a dozen or so, they were a bit annoying. I would’ve wished that they had a way to get rid of them when the cottages are empty. Otherwise the view was amazing, nice activities. We took the cheaper chalet, rooms and bathroom were small and nothing fancy but does the job

Just spent the weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We arrived in the dark and they made it very easy to get to our cabin. The cabin was very clean, lovely soft towels and all the utensils and gadgets were supplied. A little home away from home with a rustic feeling. The mornings were beautiful and quiet. The 3 deer that wandered up onto the beach was a peasant view with my morning coffee. A much apprecieated weekend away. Thank you !!

The scenic beauty around the property was the best !! The walking trails were a real treat. We did see a few deer's during our trail in much closer distance. We wanted to see how it does look in snow and are planning to revisit the place.

We had a wonderful time though it was a bit chilly and rainy. The location was near provincial parks where we went hiking and waterfall chasing.

(Better than any other hotels) I’ve worried it might be cold inside of cottage but heating system was great so I didn’t use my extra blanket I took from home. Beach&Hot water! Big fridge& clean and new gas bbq. All kitchen appliances were ready. Indoor pool&sauna also was so clean. My family’s gonna come here next summer&fall again. It’s great for driving this area.

Amazing stay! My husband and i went up for a night for our anniversary. The cottages are perfect! Very clean, beds were comfortable, ours had a woodstove so we had the option of enjoying a night by the fire. Equiped with everything you need! Our cottage was lakeside so the view was spectacular. The resort has an indoor pool, whirlpool, games area, outdoor activities and community fire pit. You have access to canoes, kayaks, paddle boats, etc. There are trails to walk on and it is close enoigh to Algonquin Park and the town of Huntsville to wnjoy local amenities. I will definitely be going back again, hopefully in the summer with our kids so we can enjoy everything this charming resort has to offer.

We rented on of the Algonquin cottages and it was beautiful! We just wish it was warmer to be able to sit out and enjoy the deck/patio.
It was very clean and had all the amenities that we could have needed.
The property was also very nicely maintained and inviting.
Since our stay was in October, we did not make use of the beach, but we really look forward to coming back some time in the summer with our kids, they would love it!!!

Great option for a short-term cabin
Great beach, great indoor pool & hot tub (for the rainy days), and the rental canoes / kyacks are in great shape. The place overall is well maintained, and the new cottages look great. However the 'traditional' cottages are on their way out (BW Acres moving to fractional ownership), and as such maintenance on these cabins is minimal. However they are very clean & livable; it's just that they aren't as fancy. Beds are a bit old / not the most comfortable. But not an issue for us at all. Loved the place & will be back (assuming they still do rentals in the future).

Amazing Resort!
One of the best resorts we stayed at in Algonquin. We stayed in the traditional two bed room cottage which is completely different from the pictures in the inside. It is clean spacious and newly renovated. With that said, there is a huge difference between the traditional and other cottages. Regarless where you stay the resort is amazing. The view and the beach is the best part. I recommend staying close to the beach.
