The one bed apartment was lovely. Super clean, convenient with all mod cons required. We took advantage of the washing machine and dryer which was really handy after a couple of weeks travel in Thailand. The bed was comfy. Living area furniture also comfy. TV with Netflix was great.
There was a small balcony with a great view from our room on the 21st floor.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
There a pool and jacuzzi on the 27th floor, bar and Thai restaurant.
The breakfast was good with a la carte menu as well as the usual cereal, pastry, fruit, juice etc
It was close to other good restaurants and ran a free bus to the EM Quartier shopping centre where there is also a train station.

We spent our Honeymoon at 137 Pillars and had a wonderful stay. When we arrived they had balloons on our bed and special desserts in the fridge for us to celebrate our marriage. The staff was so accommodating and would check in to see if you had questions. The pool was beautiful, but a bit cold. The room had a great view of the city and the bed was super cozy. I would come back next time I visit Bangkok.

What a great hotel with AMAZING STAFF
This hotel was so amazing. From the minute you pull up, the service is just beyond anything that we have experienced. Hiery (pronounced Harry) was so amazing at our check in. She was very informative and accomodating. We were at many hotels in the Thailand area and this one exceeded our expectations.
The only thing that I would suggest is that they need bigger closets for suitcases or those racks to put a suitcase on top of. The other thing was the bathrooms need ventilation. It gets very hot in there and the plastic blinds get a weird smell. The cleanliness was great but some more detailed dusting would be good. The only other thing that could be looked at is the pricing of the restaurants. It seems a bit high and definitely tourist pricing but all the food in surrounding areas is just as good and half the price.

5 Star BKK stay
Friendly staff and very nice facility. Let us early check in with no extra charge. Breakfast is amazing as well, half buffet style and half cook to order. Shuttle to BTS station also a nice touch.

A decent small boutique hotel. Location is a little off of main sukhumvit road, 10-12 min walk, or hotel offers free shuttle every hour both ways. A few decent massage parkours, 7eleven and a Starbucks around the property. I travel to Thailand slot and stayed a better hotels in the same price, a little more central and an upto mark 5 star hotel. This time I chose 137 pillars for its balcony that is offered with every room. If you’re staying in the residence category. the 22nd floor pool & bar is decent. If you’re staying in the Suites category the Roof top pool & bar is fabulous. Residence cannot access the rooftop. Overall, onto the expectations. unless travelling with family, a group, or kids, I suggest find something more central and grand. Rooms were very comfortable, stocked mini bar, one of the comfiest beds if slept on. Breakfast was good. Not ideal property to stay if you’re looking for night life. Very decent neighborhood just off of main sukhumvit road (10-12min walk). I chose 137 pillars because of its rooms offering balcony. If you’re solo, travelling with young crowd, go for a hotel more central on sukhumvit road.

This hotel was amazing start to finish - the staff were extremely welcoming and quick to help and offer suggestions if we needed any, the hotel was beautiful, room and amenities fantastic. Great food offerings, breakfast was included and the range on offer with buffet + menu at breakfast meant my whole family was happy

This is a beautiful hotel and pretty expensive. Unless you pay $350 a night and book the suites you cannot use the rooftop infinity pool even if you offer to pay them an additional $250 for the privilege. The problem is the other pool for us serfs, although beautiful, in January the sun only shines in the pool area in the morning and the water is very cold. There’s not a lot of direct sunshine on that level of the building at anytime of the day. That may be advantageous in the hotter months but in January in Bangkok it’s not so pleasant after leaving the New England winter for a nice respite while convalescing from crippling jet lag and expecting warmth. The service in the restaurant felt awkward. It seemed like the waiters didn’t really want to be there and seemed annoyed and brought me Luke warm coffee. You might wonder if I was bringing some negative energy but I just felt really excited to be there (albeit I was under the influence of jet lag). This is not the best location for a first time visitor to Bangkok but it was nice and quiet and pretty luxurious. I stayed 5 nights.

Great apartment style hotel in a residential area. Well appointed, clean and excellent service. Free shuttle/walkable to one of the biggest mall in Bangkok and a busy commercial area around it with plenty of restaurants. The only drawback is it’s a bit out of the way from the usual tourist spots. But the train station is right next to the shopping mall.

However, taxis and transportation is a MAJOR issue. It is the only criticism I have of this property. 137 is located on a one way road and the hotel needs to add staff on the road to gain access to taxis. You should expect to have to wait 10-15 minutes every time you need transportation ... and at busy times, this could be even longer

Before I booked the hotel, I read some comments about the location being far from the BTS. However during our stay, we had such ease with the complimentary shuttle service from hotel to emquartier/Phrom Phong BTS. The shuttle runs every 30minutes and is very prompt.
The room is comfortable, with all the appliances like coffee machine, fridge and microwave available if you need. There is however an area for improvement - the pillows provided are too soft. When I called the reception if they have harder pillows available (some hotels do provide such options), there was none. Hopefully 137 Pillars can consider offering this option in future.
The buffet breakfast also offer a good spread. If you can get a table. On the first day, there was a long queue but luckily they gave us an option to go to the lobby cafe for breakfast where you can order from the breakfast menu. The second day, we were lucky to get a table and the buffet option was very good.

Simply amazing!! After a 22 hour flight we arrived at the Pillars at noon time. We were told our room was ready for an early check in. The staff is so welcoming and polite. The lobby smells so fresh and it’s spotless clean. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. We got a two bedroom residence and we loved everything about the room. Has a full size kitchen and washer and dryer. Our reservation came with complimentary breakfast. It’s definitely not a regular breakfast buffet. It has a wide variety of Thai cusine, very much delicious. The infinity pool on the 27 floor is simply beautiful. Didn’t have access to the roof top pool, but the pool on the 27th was just as amazing. I will definitely stay at the Pillars on my next visit.

We have been travelling for a while and booked this as a treat, the infinity pool is beautiful with amazing views and the fact that we had a washer/dryer in the room was definitely a plus. Also the breakfast is too good!!!

We booked a one bedroom type, unfortunately we didn’t know that the top floor infinity pool is only available for those who booked Suite, we are told to go to the jacuzzi instead which is disappointing. If you're attracted by 137 pillars' reputation in Chiang-mai, you might need to adjust expectation level towards its new presence in Bangkok.
