I enjoyed my stay at Amora , hotel is close to BTS, shopping malls , restaurants , 7/11 and everything else. The buffett breakfast was very good, lots of choices, Staff was polite and helpful, the room was nice , bed cumfy , shower is a bit weird though , but it worked i will be returning to this Hotel

Location was good room size is enough. Two thing to take note. Required a smoke free level but i could smell smoke in the room from time to time may be its coming from the air vent. Also the flooring wood have crack and hole. They are refurbishing it any so its okay. As there is a notice saying that.

What i didnt like was paying 500 baht to go to the airport.

I was told due to it being an hour away, it is not an hour away, but around 20 minutes, so they charged me to much and it also says airport transfer on their site which i thought was a courtsey and included.

Also the reason i even got this hotel was due to a tub in the bathroom since i had a long flight coming.

The water was a filthy brown, so i scraped the bath and took a shower and the towel was a filthy brown from me drying off..

I will not stay there again.

This Hotel was great. wow did they go out of their way to support and help me. the friendliest group I've experienced in a long time. I will absolutely stay here again. yes the hotel is dated and it was spotless. the pool was relaxing and a great workout area. it has great location and I was able to get around Bangkok easily. I have stayed at this hotel many times now. So far the experience was good but for this time. the room given to me was not in good shape.
The door was faulty and it makes it so hard for me to open the door. the room couldn't see any view and there was a window that can allow me to open. I checked with the staff and they told me is not a smoking room. But it is not a smoking room why you gave me a room that can open the window?

I think they need better customer service for customers that are returning to the hotel.

Worth the money.

Close to resturants and walking distance to bars massage parlors and Soi Cowboy and shopping malls about 8 minutes walk to the BTS. Staff were great room was big. Will stay again on my next visit

Liked the location - few minutes walk to the BTS, there are plenty of shops nearby ie Boots, Family Mart, 7-e.
Kitchen staff are helpful - they accommodated our requests to heat up some food in their microwave (we're Muslims, sometimes halal food can be hard to obtain so we bought halal packed food from 7-e etc.)

Good location and helpful staff. Although the hotel looks modern, it’s in quite bad shape. The shower often had low water pressure and the water was not hot. The HVAC unit was extremely noisy and intrusive. Th me breakfast was okay but the coffee was burnt.

Nothing like the photos

This hotel looks nothing like the photos. It’s dated and grungy. We had to change rooms on check in because there was something growing on the bedroom wall. One of the housekeepers came by and said there’s nothing they could do. The second was only slightly better and still noticeably dirty. The beds are hard as a rock and the bedroom has a frosted window into the bedroom so if your partner turns on a light in the middle of the night you’ll see it. The pool was similar to the room and pretty dingy. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, more along the lines of a 2 star and if we would’ve paid 2 star pricing I wouldn’t have had such a problem with it. Would not recommend, would not stay again.

It should be 100% as their staffs friendly n helpful.. But the room have ants.. So don't leave food overnight.. And last night in my stay, got a room smoking! Really bad! Whole room mine smoke smell!! I don't see free toothpaste, toothbrush, so do bring own.. Bed comfortable. Four pillow different comfortable.. They have free can opener too! Good! Area very quiet, not street food but got a very yummy ramen shop beside.. Pool small.. Inner pool tiles kinda broken, careful walk..
TV have lot program and huge tv.

You have to be adventurous and love to walk if you want to stay here. The distance is a bit far from train station. Not alot of the tuktuk or taxi driver know the hotel.

4 days 3 nights stay was comfortable. Hotel technician assisted in power plug issue immediately after I called the reception at 8pm, well done. Clean bedsheet, towels and robes. Friendly and approachable staff. Overall very good experience and will come again!

Breakfast has variety of selections and it changes each day. Great staff. Gym is small and equipment is somewhat old. Free water bottle at the gym. The room I have has one (1) dual voltage for 110 and 220 volts, where you can switch between the 2 voltages. Walking distance to Asok BTS (about 10 minute walk). Barber is nearby also about 3 blocks away, name Never Say Cut - ask the front desk for direction.

Good smaller hotel in central area just off Sukhumvit,i had a room with non opening window and it smelt musty, sort of damp, i dont really complain too much but i found the bed to be very hard and i had trouble sleeping, i do suffer from hip pain anyway, most people may find the beds to be o k but for me was way too hard, The staff were very helpful and moved me to another room with opening window and tried to resolve the bed problem but i think all of the rooms have the same hard mattress.other than that everything was good, small gym which i used, good clean pool, friendly helpful staff at reception, if not for the bed issue i had i would definately stay again.

Love this hotel for accommodations and location. I have stayed here on 4 separate trips to Bangkok.
I will say that over the years the condition of the hotel has degraded (🙁). I am hopeful that a makeover is in the works.... or at the very least some serious maintenance!
Plumbing fixtures, lighting controls, and painted finishes are in need of attention.
That being said I would happily stay again ! And the staff is fantastic !

Upon check in they tried to give us a smoking room. When we said we would not take it they finally found a non smoking room after initially saying that’s all they had left. On our last night our key card stopped working. They made us new cards but it was the door that was broken. We needed security to let us in our room each time with their machine.

- Needs better maintenance ( tiles missing from swimming pools and poor workmanship of of some work that has been done)
Front rooms are noisy (but we are talking about Bangkok)
Breakfast was ok at best.

The bed a really comfortable. I liked how close it was to the SkyTrain and the Sol Cowboy and other clubs. Easy to get to places due to Sky train. Sometimes it was hard to get a taxi because they did not know where it is.

Great location in the heart of Sukhumvit. Short walk to Phrom Phong BTS and Terminal 21. I was kindly given a room upgrade to a Deluxe and it didn't disappoint. It's good value for the quality and location. I've stayed in more luxury 4* hotels but the price was very fair.

Great location and overall a pleasant stay

The hotel is conveniently located close to Phrom Phrong BTS station (10-15 minutes walk away). There are many yummy food stores in the vicinity (eg. Isao, ranked #1 for sushi in Bangkok in Wongnai and we loved Brainwake, a café down the street that offers great food). Convenient stores such as 7-Eleven, Familymart and Tops mini supermart are also conveniently located nearby which made it a very good location. The gym is awesomely equipped too (although I didn't try it). The swimming pool looks very shallow though and its really small, I doubt anyone uses it. Apart from the fact that occasionally there were sudden loud bangs from the room above ours, its a relatively good experience. The staff are pretty friendly too and able to communicate in English :)

The room was very spacious and comfy. Bed was excellent, the only disappointment was the bathroom, the drainage from the bathtub was very slow, and water was clog, told front desk to ask technician to repair but probably forgot about it. Otherwise still worth to stay again.

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Bangkok. First time we just slept there as we were exploring lots. Second time we spent more time in the room as I was sick. We got upgraded for free however the toilet was dirty when we arrived and we were locked out of our room both nights and had to get let into our room by security because our cards wouldn’t work. Paid for breakfast with the room but we ended up eating out instead because our first experience was inedible. Staff were lovely and location was perfect right down the road from terminal 21

It's nice hotel and really happy to stay there,the staff are really helpfull too. However there are misunderstanding between hotel and expedia. When i booked this hotel it's stated i would get breakfast buffet but when i came there the hotel staff said its didnt include breakfast so im quite disappointed about that.

The room is very clean. The staff is very friendly and professional.
We encountered a little issue about the room, and the staff was able to take responsibility willingly. I was upset about the issue but the staff remained calm and friendly to resolve the issue. I like their professionalism. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Dispute with booking

One unpleasant incidence of theft of a small bottle of perfume which was replaced after our report to the reception when we came back to hotel room.
Reception staff ( one with the long hair) rejectd our booking conditions with Expedia. which stated clearly rooms come with breakfast..
We have 2 booking with Expedia, one which flight & hotel, the other only hotel room Both are for the same period of 19 -22 Feb. They only accepted the flight & hotel with breakfast and insisted the individual hotel room booking ( ref. 7322657476613) doesn't come with breakfast.
Your room confirmation stated clearly free parking,fre wireless internet,free buffet breakfast for 2 (per day).
Didn't bother to argue with him.
One other reception staff was nice helping us to get a cab with his personal mobile uber

The hotel is on a great nice location with amenities all nearby.
Inside the lift and along the hotel room walkway including the room smells of cigarettes smoke probably because the flooring is carpeted and also it looks dark.
I was surprised there was an ashtray (clean one) inside the room which I thought all rooms are non-smoking.

Nice hotel near shopping district

We made it to Bangkok and the first hotel of choice reminded me of a scene from Hangover 2. After a few hours of searching we came across this hotel and they understood our frustration and allowed us to check in at 10 am. They staff was kind and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. If I were to come back to Bangkok I would definitely stay here.

Great location near Sukhumvit and BTS

The hotel has a great location if you are up to staying along Sukhumvit road. It is also Close to a BTS, so communication is easy (for being in Bangkok). It also has free parking, which was a big positive for us. However, the room was smelly and the air quality was acceptable only after 30 minutes with the windows open. We didn't try the restaurant since we didn't have breakfast included.

When checking in was told we not entitled to free bfast. Told them we had free bfast but was told to send an email to the hotel itself so funny n weird..after sending the email told us to just tell the coffeehouse we r entitled but next day morning when we do that they told us again no free bfast.. Was v disappointed front desk receptionist v rude n like we so desperate for free bfase... Anyway bfase v lousy. Room v v untidy table bathroom and bed all got small ants crawling around.. Even the bed is itch.. Would NV stay again even if it's free. Staff need lesson in customer service badly customers dnt stay for free and do not owe u ppl money to see ur poor n bad attitude. Do not recommend dnt waste money staying here.

Best location and hotel i stay soo far

The hotel locations is between 2 bts, about 5 mins walk.. there is a terminal 21 mall about 20 -25 mins walk..there is also a mrt nearby.. i am a person who loves walking soo no issue for me.. only problem is the bathroom shower head water was continuous coming out only hot water despite the technician help us to fix 3 times alr, we eventually gave up until they have a do a throughly check on the water tank on the last 3 days of our stay.. nevertheless, the hotel was good, staff were friendly.. will definitely come back and stay again..

This is my third time staying in this hotel. The staff are very friendly, with rooftop swimming pool and gym facilities. Location is great, just 5min walking distance away from BTS train station and major shopping malls. There are also convenient stores, 24 hrs supermarket, eateries and street food nearby.

This hotel was such a disappointment and ruined the end of our beautiful holiday in Thailand.

The rooms were okay and all you needed, but the hallway smelt of mold and pool was moldy and rusty. We were woken up each morning from other rooms slamming their doors, the walls were paper thin.

In terms of the customer service, we were very shocked since our experiences with Thai people this holiday have been so friendly and welcoming. As we were checking out, the reception told us we owed the hotel $300 per towel as we had (the smallest amount) of makeup on them when drying ourselves out of the shower. We asked them why this was a problem as it washes out very easily, having doing the same at home and other hotels. They told us they had to send the towels that were dirty out to get cleaned. \"So what do with the other towels that don't have makeup on them?\" We asked. \"I'm not telling you\" she answered. We were so shocked we laughed. So they don't use any bleach on the towels or wash the ones without makeup on them? How unhygienic.

As we walked out the manager told us \"you're not welcome back here\" for what? Drying our faces with your towels? Don't worry, we definitely won't be back. For the $40-$50 a night, they were trying to get more money out of us. We will definitely pay a little more and get the proper service next time.

Good hotel in good location

Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean and updated room. Everything worked. Comfortable bed and pillows. Rood had umbrellas, robes, tissues, toiletries including creams and lotions, hair drier and magnifier mirror, coffee and a refrigerator. The safe was big enough for a good size laptop. There is a pool and well equipped gym at the top of the building. Quiet in the room.
