Beautiful hotel. The one employee we saw was helpful. First room had no heat. Second room had heat and we discovered later stink bugs.
Bits of litter in the hallway. Internet was very weak and dropped out every few minutes.
We probably would not choose to stay there again.

The parking lot outside the hotel was dimly lit; the fixtures in the bathroom didn't work well; the sink nor the shower drained well at all, so I was standing in water above my ankles while showering; the toilet overflowed when it was flushed; and we spotted a cockroach on the wall.

Such a strange place,lobby is nice,breakfast is pretty good outside of the juice it was strange.elevator was out on our side making us take a fire escape to get up to our room.most of the place smelled of weed.room was clean and nice though but the rest of the hotel needs updated bad.pictures that they use do not reflect current state.We wouldn’t go back until it gets updated.

This place needs to be condemned for mold. AC units do not cool and are visibly covered in mold. Halls smell like dead fish. 1 working elevator that had beer spilled and front desk said it would get cleaned when housekeeping got there… after 9am. Spiders in room. Fire escape locked on one side due to roof leak per front desk. All key access doors unlocked but one. Shower so dirty I had to wear shoes in it. Pool water cloudy. Courtyard covered in broken furniture and ant hills. Holes in walls with water leaks in common areas

My only issue was the cleanliness of the rooms and the unrepaired aspects of building in general. Staff was great. First room smelled so musty I asked to me moved and was relocated to one that just smelled of cigarette smoke instead. Slept well in the bed and the property is conveniently located. Kind of a rundown place overall and only had one working elevator which someone vomited in on night one, so it was stairs for the rest of my visit.

The staff at Hotel Clarion were extremely helpful and very pleasant—definitely the highlight of my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The building is very old and run down, and while the hallways were generally clean, the overall facility felt dirty and neglected. Outside the hotel, the grounds were cluttered with brush, leaves, and limbs. Inside, the TVs didn’t work, the bathrooms were not clean (including dirty commodes), and there were no real amenities offered. The continental breakfast was very limited. On a positive note, the beds looked comfortable, but overall, I would rate my experience as poor, apart from the excellent staff.

The lobby area was beautiful. The hotel smelled of gas and had a lot of leaking in the ceiling. The first room we were put in the bed had stains and a towel underneath it that was covered in bug carcasses. They gave a different room and it was better just the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been a lot better. The staff was nice and friendly however the price I was given was completely and totally different from what I thought I was going to be paying.

Nightmare on Hatch Rd.

This was a nightmare from check-in to check-out. Customer service was horrid. No greeting or welcome at all. The rooms were horrific. Dirty, moldy and smelly. The bar was never open and the ice machines were all broken. The elevators were both broken, forcing us to lug our luggage up the stairs, which had cigarette butts and spider webs all over it. The outdoor area was unkempt and the grass was about 2 ft. tall. We thought it may have been closed upon arrival I picked up the phone to call the front desk and it didn't work either. The couple I was traveling with had NO microwave or refrigerator. Their AC was so loud it sounded like a jet engine. There were burn holes in my carpet and cellophane wrappers on the floor. The bathroom was filthy and the wallpaper in the hallway was peeling off and dirty. The marijuana smell was wafting down the hallway from God knows where. Upon check-out, we explained to Savannah (the clerk), the issues. She could have cared less. No apology....very uninterested. She promised to email us the invoice and we have yet to receive it 2 days later. To top everything off, we asked for a printed receipt and she promptly told us the printer didn't work (apparently it didn't work either ☺) We checked out a day early and were still charged the full rate for 3 days instead of 2. If this is Clarion's policy, it's horrible. I will never, ever stay in this filthy place again. I can't believe it passed a health and safety inspection.

After I sprayed everything including the bed down with Lysol it was better..The room was hot but didnt take long to cool and being on the 2nd floor was alot better than being on the 1st.You only have 3 channels on the tv,the wifi didnt work,NEVER HAD ANY HOT WATER TO SHOWER(ALWAYS COLD)...Only thing good was the a/c worked good ,bed was comfortable and liked being on the 2nd floor..NEVER NEVER STAY ON THE 1ST FLOOR BUT THAT WAS THE LAST TIME WE WILL BE STAYING THERE ANYMORE....

Toilet had a cover that didn't fit the style and the bowl had not been cleaned. Tub/shower was filthy. There was loose change on the floor that told us it had not been vacuumed or else the change would not be there. Elevators were not functional so you had to use the stairs...which were filthy.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There was black mold in the room we stayed in and the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. There were toenail clippings along the bedside. We kept our shoes on throughout the stay. We were definitely concerned about security. The area did not feel safe. The door to enter the hotel did not lock. I would not recommend.

Morning checkout not very nice, The guy working the counter was in the office and took awhile to come out. Once he did I asked him where I needed to drop off my room key or do I just hand it to him. He never acknowledged my question and just turned around and walked back in the office. I just left the key on the counter. 2 other guests at breakfast was complaining about his behavior as well, at least I know I did nothing wrong. Not sure if he was just too busy doing other things or he was having some personal issues.

The faciliity is a beautiful design. The landscaping is nice. The issue no upkeep. The lack of maintenance- trimming lands caping, cutting grass, pressure washing building, painting spots as needed. The cleaniness of the rooms was about 75% just a little extra effort and the rooms would have been fine. Very similar to the overall complex needed daily maintenance and it would be a great facility. The bar and restaurant are closed as well.

The rooms were dirty could use a fresh coat of paint. Dirty walls, showers, carpet that might not have vacuumed in a bit.
Had to push hard on the bathroom door because the wood was expanding from years of moisture. We just needed a value hotel on a family visit so it worked

The overall stay was good there was only a couple things that can be improved first the directions to getting there was bad on the gps, second is they had a lot of roof leaks in the lobby, the lobby bathrooms and hallways, the next thing is the TVs in the rooms my family and I had to change rooms bc the tv just stopped working and that was a pain to do but the person working in the lobby was very sweet and kind she was amazing very welcoming and was happy to help and make things right. My last lil complaint is the breakfast the waffle maker machine was not working properly so my kids or I were able to have a waffle also keeping the breakfast foods stocked when we went to get breakfast there was like nothing left we waited to see if it would get refilled never did so we weren’t able to get much to eat but the selection of food was good just need to stock the food more often but over all not bad the eggs were delicious, the juices also ran out so nothing to drink either but the second day was a lot better and was able to enjoy it better. The rooms were spacious and cleaned very well and the beds let me tell u very comfortably the pillows were alright but over all I enjoyed my stay very nice staff and good housekeeping. I will stay again for sure just hope the next time the breakfast will be better.
