Hotel is in the heart of Braga and was in very close diatance of all activities. We had little hard time to find a parking but after 7pm there were lots of street parkings.
Breakfast was ordered a night before and was ready and served on the time we choose. we enjoyed thoroughly. Room was clean and my daughter stayed upstair room with her own bathroom. Thank you!

This is a fun, unique hotel tribute themed rooms. Staff is wonderful. I loved their breakfast service…yiu order items and they are prrosred and served to you. The location is good too. Uber rides to special tourist attractions are reasonable from this plac. Lots of convenient snd good dining places are nearby.

A lovely small hotel in the historical area of Braga.
It is located within walking distance of the railway station and the bus station. The bus station operates an hourly airport transfer bus to Porto International for 9 euros (one way).
This hotel provides great base to explore Braga’s historical sites and many good restaurants.
We were greeted upon arrival by smart professional staff who made us feel welcome and were happy to help us plan our site seeing trips.
Our standard room was clean and spacious, we were at the side of the hotel so there was not a lot of natural light or street views, but it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a bath and shower over bath.
We did not dine at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.
We would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the beautiful City of Braga.

I absolutely love this hotel SO comfortable if you are traveling with kids !!! They have amazing beds we took a room with 2 twins one double bed amazing !!! So much space two bathrooms it was PERFECT!! Everyone is do friendly and welcoming!! Mariana was lovely they speak Spanish and English. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and location EXCELLENT. Mariana, Leonel and Joāo at reception tended to our every need from check-in to check out. Our questions via email before our stay were answered instantly by Mariana. Breakfast was ordered the day before and was waiting for us in the restaurant when we wandered down. Luisa makes an outstanding breakfast and the staff serves all with incredible efficency.
Our room was very clean ( thanks to Elisa and Luzia), bright, cheerful, roomy, and comfortable WITH a view of the Cathedral. The entire staff wished me Happy Birthday yesterday for my big day.
BUT the very BEST thing was that chef, Susana, baked me an absolutely delicious cake for my birthday!! That and a bottle of champagne was GIFTED to me as a surprise from the staff!! This was an absolutely phenomenal gesture of kindness. If you want a great stay within walking to distance to all of old town, stay at the Burgus Tribute and Design Hotel.

Great location of hotel. We had a two story didn't suite, which was great for our boys to sleep up stairs with their own bathroom. Wasn’t huge but perfect for what we needed as we didn't hang out much in the room. Hotel staff was amazing and friendly! We contacted the hotel through Hotels.com app to request one of the two parking spots the hotel has so make sure to do that ahead of time as they put cones out for you for the spot. Otherwise another family we traveled with forgot to contact them for the other spot got lucky and got parking on the street. The parking on street is free from 7 pm until 9 am. Location has good restaurants and shops nearby to enjoy!

Best choice in Braga

Burgus is a small modern boutique hotel. They have few rooms, quiet and comfortable, but beds could be better. Bathroom is very good with good quality towels. Paid breakfast should be ordered the night before, and it is of excellent quality with many options including a variety of eggs and omelets. Location is excellent on a walking distance from the Braga Cathedral and other historical attractions, as well as many restaurants close by.

A gem! In every conceivable way—stylish, superb breakfast, beautiful room overlooking the cathedral, clean as a whistle, super comfortable bed. A first rate, top drawer hotel in every possible way.


And the staff (I sadly do not remember their names, one a young and interesting and beautiful 23YO woman during the day; and the other a charming and helpful and insanely handsome young man during the night) were charming, delightful people! First rate humans! And, I was there two nights off the Camino Central to celebrate my 60th Birthday and those delightful people knocked on my door on my birthday and brought me this—charmed me to no end and warmed the cockles of this 60 year old’s heart. Obrigado obrigado obrigado—I wish you both health and joy and happiness and a good life!

A pretty hotel in a great location, where everything is closer enough to be walkable. The room was a little warm and we could seem to lower the temperature, but did not ask for help. Very comfortable bed! Breakfast was wonderful.

It was in a great location near some nice restaurants. There was no noise, the rooms were bright and airy and the staff were really helpful.
My personal preference only would be to have somewhere in the bathroom to put my cosmetics.

What a great find!

Truly a great find in this lovely town. While parking can be scarce, we were fortunate to get one of the overnight spots right at the front door at a very reasonable rate. Service is terrific. The lobby is nice and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel is right around the block from restaurants and the streets are beautiful to stroll. We were extremely with our choice of this hotel and would highly recommend it. It would be our first choice if we were to return to this area again.

Worth to stay without breakfast

Spacious room with good view but with uncomfortable chairs. Terrible coffee that taste like water. The staff are friendly but information provided by different staff is inconsistent.

Parkingmogelijkheden zijn bijzonder beperkt.
Ontbijt was wel OK, maar elk detail moest de avond ervoor besteld worden ... en dat is natuurlijk niet altijd aangenaam. Verder heel vriendelijk onthaal, heel nette kamer.

Solo tiene dos plazas de parking

Nos sentimos estafados al entrar porque habíamos filtrado en la búsqueda de hoteles los que tuvieran aparcamiento y este así lo señalaba.
Pero la verdad es que un hotel con catorce habitaciones no puede decir que tenga aparcamiento si solo tiene dos plazas.
Por lo demás, el hotel es perfecto, tanto el personal, habitaciones, el enclave.....
