Stayed here recently and the room was disgusting, lots of stains on the carpet which was already dirty. Much of the staff clearly hated their jobs and were so dismissive. Only Nikia was friendly and accommodating- she should be in management. When I returned home got notified there was a charge for food from the restaurant there that I never went to. When calling to find out about the extra charge another front desk staff with an annoyed attitude told me she was sending up my request to management. I have not been to a Sonesta hotel before and never will again definitely not here. If you want to pay for bad customer service, fraudulent charges, and a dirty room this is the place.

Beware, do not stay at this hotel. Avoid it at all costs. The staff is completely unhelpful and uncaring. This place was a complete nightmare. The worst part was the uncaring staff. It seemed like they deal with unsatisfied guests all the time, so they treat all situations, regardless of how grave, as if it is everyday. No empathy from any of them, and a complete unwillingness to resolve issues.

Staring off with the great staff, especially Derick so fun and sweet. Super helpful throughout my weekend stay. The room had ans the amenities I needed and they offer airport transportation. The bar tended was sweet unfortunately didn’t get her name. The room was good shower needed a lil re clean and the power was finicky. Plug in one thing and stops power somewhere else lol but so many plus you will manage. All in all I’d come back.

There's no gift shop just a little snack area. There is no shuttle to shopping area these were things we saw in booking that weren't available. They have a bar. Make sure you wake up for Benton grill breakfast only served from 6-9am you will miss if you aren't aware.

Holland was very helpful when my family first arrived. He was such a pleasure to speak with. This is my 2nd time at this hotel I came a few years ago for a family reunion. My issue was we went out for the day on Saturday and came back late around 11pm and our room wasn’t cleaned which meant we didn’t have clean towels. We are a family of 4 so normally when our room is going to be cleaned I would leave the dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom which I did. When coming bs k I was a bit upset the room wasn’t done. The next morning I spoke with a cleaning person that advised that they clean the rooms everyday and to report it to the front desk I explained my concerns to front desk. I say all that to say my family had to share towels to dry off with thst was totally unacceptable. We didn’t have ice ms Hines on our floor and had to get them downstairs in the lobby and they were out when I went. The elevators were out most of the time

Room 407 was extremely disappointing. When we checked in, the room was clearly not properly cleaned. There was hair in both the refrigerator and the shower, and there was even what appeared to be blood on the floor. It looked like the sheets had been changed, but little else had been cleaned.

I called the front desk and was told someone would come clean the room, but no one ever showed up. We also requested towels multiple times throughout our stay and never received them.

The lack of cleanliness and poor response from staff made for a very frustrating experience. I would not stay here again.

I can't leave a good review because after we checked in at 730 PM we found out elevator was down. The check in people did not tell us, we heard it from other people staying there. I broke my foot 3 days before Sat night and there was no way wI could climb the stairs. They said the elevator would not be long but come to find out the elevator guy was not even there yet. It was after 10 PM when we got in our room. Not one employee offered us anything, came to see if we ok or come to give us any update.

The coffee maker in the room was broke. We needed to catch our shuttle to the airport at 9 am. Left our room and the elevator did not work. Late for our shuttle. Ice machines did not work. We had to go to front desk to get bag ice. Getting in and out of the parking area was a problem. Overall will not use this hotel again when we go to Atlanta to visit our son.

--- much better this time around with the restaurant being the exception. At check-in we were told the restaurant would be open for dinner, but did not open at all for two days.Luckily, there are some good eateries in walking distance.

The hotel looked good from the outside. However, the ice maker was out of service on my first day and subsequent 3-4 days. Not only was the elevator service very erratic from my first day, as it was supposedly under repairs and service, it got to a complete halt on the night of June 6th. My room was on the 9th floor, and I had to take the stairs to the lobby and back to my room. It wasn't a fun experience.
The Housekeeping staff and the valet parking staff were very nice, ready and willing to assist.

I didn't have a good experience, as I got stuck in the elevator for two minutes; it was out of order for over four hours, so I had to walk down the stairs from the sixth floor. It wasn't a pleasant experience, though the staff were very friendly.

When we arrived the elevator was not working. People were standing in the lobby waiting on someone to get in repaired. I asked for the lowest level, which was the 5th floor. We hiked up 5 floors only to find a renovation in progress. Plastic taped to the hallway floors. The ac was not working in the room. I expected to tell the front desk to provide a refund and we would stay somewhere else. They gave us a room on the 6th floor which had been renovated and was very nice. The desk staff was very nice and professional. Perhaps a one off situation but not a pleasant situation nonetheless.

This place happens to be under construction which they should let you know before you purchase or check in the fan was so loud that was blowing in hall i guess to dry out the floors. Also just to park you have to pay $25 even if you are a guest. The main floor is probably the nicest part of the hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a Due Diligence Conference, and I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for my stay during the conference. It was clean. The tiolet in our room constantly ran and it was leaking water. The staff were very attenative to guest. The security gate is to be a little undesirably. The breakfast was not worth NO 24.00 dollars per person, it was the same as you get from breakfast buffets that are free at other hotels.

So, the hotel was undergoing renovations so allow that to be the basis here. The place easily could've been a 5 star experience if the timing had lined me up to be there when they weren't undergoing maintenance. So positives first. Airport shuttle. SO USEFUL! I was attending a convention and the shuttle was such a huge perk. Comfortable and clean. They advertise that its every 30 mins but with the chaos that is ATL it was more like every 45 mins. Size. Room size was good not great, but good. Bathroom. The bathroom I asked for needed to have a shower. (Hotel bathtubs make me become a germaphobe.) It had a big shower. Super happy with that. Location. You have several restaurants, liquor store and gas stations all within a safe walking distance so big thumb up. Staff. Super friendly and overall good character with a willingness to smile and assist. Now on to the mediocre. Toilet acted a little funky like it wouldn't flush properly in one flush. (Gross, I know but this is something to take into consideration.) Entrance for cabs, Lyft and Ubers. This is more the others fault then the hotels but most if not all of them had trouble getting in and out of the location requiring verbal assistance when requesting a ride. The breakfast. 25 dollars? When your next to two Waffle houses? Pass. THE BAD. Renovations. I think they were replacing insulation or removing rotten wood as everything had that freshly painted and worked smell. And the taped plastic covering kept falling down. 8/10

We most truly enjoyed our stay from the beginning to the end. The receptionists were very nice and helpful from the time we walked in to the time we checked out. We were traveling in from another city and we were not familiar with the area. They made sure we knew where to enjoy some good food and have a good time. Shoutout to our favorite “Alicia” for going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and that we were very comfortable. Thank you so much for such a wonderful visit. I checked in during a busy period of canceled flights and stranded passengers checking in with airline vouchers. For the situation I do not think the employees at the front desk could have done a better job than what they did. Very professional. Very polite. You could tell they were tired and yet still gave outstanding service. I cannot overstate how impressed I was with the service I received while checking in.
