Great hotel

We checked in very late and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
Room was clean and spacious, no fridge but they did have an ice machine.
No real aircon to speak of so would probably be hot in the summer.

Breakfast was great and parking was 10-15 euros.

Hotel isn’t close to anything but great for what we needed.

The hotel was super quiet with lovely staff and breakfast. Plus as a tourist you can get a free \"Echt Bodensee Ticket\" which allows your to ride the buses free of charge. Bus station at the hotel, line 5 brings you straight to the city center and harbor.

The room was cleaned 2 times during 10 day stay. The hotel was advertised to have laundry on premises, the nearest laundromat is 20 minutes drive. No restaurants within walking distance. Had to request fresh towels, toilet paper and such daily. Had to take out my trash myself. Left earlier than planned but they still charged me for the days I was no longer there. A very disappointing experience overall. The only two good things about this hotel are: comfortable beds and tasty breakfast.

The hotel specifically asks to hang a sign on the door if you want your room to be cleaned, I did do and still they missed my room of the day before I left. No Manager (on vacation) and they admitted the housekeeping was out-sourced- not sure if that is true but in any case huge mistake. Also the smoking and noise by the front door for 1st floor inhabitants till 2 AM is pretty bleak- maybe if there was a manager there this would not happen!!

Pleasant stopover

Very convenient location if you need go to the local airport, right next door. Very good sound proofing as planes were barely noticeable at all. Hotel is modern, clean and rooms and facilities are good. Room is small but ok if you don’t have much luggage with you, tight otherwise but a nice stay. Breakfast good but mainly cold food. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I was not pleased with the service at the bar as we sat for 15min with no one even came to take order and staff were just walking past us & felt ignored. Also could provide more than a frozen pizza for snacks as there is no place to eat close to the hotel.

We had to park right outside the door which wasnt ideal as it seemed a disabled space but we were reassured it was ok by the concierge. Otherwise a good stay.

Comfortable room with enough room to accommodate a cot. Breakfast was included in the price but it was difficult to get a table on busy days and certain items don’t get refilled (croissants and eggs for example) so when they’re gone, they’re gone! Reception staff were generally very understanding and helpful, kitchen staff worked very hard but on busy days they were somewhat overloaded.

I think that there were only 3 choices - 3 varieties of pizza.
Well placed for pedestrian access to the Messe (which is what we wanted), and with a handy bus stop to go down town.

Silent, comfortable stay and delicious breakfast

The hotel is in a very convenient location, in a silent area with green space for dogs (by the way the hotel is very pet friendly). Free parking space and breakfast and wifi are perfect for a quick stopover. The room was spacious for two people, comfortable and very clean. The personnel was very kind and attentive. The price was also quite fair for what we got so I definitely recommend this place for a trip to F.hafen.

Warning to drivers: The road from the highway to the hotel has many speed cameras spread out (I counted 6 on my way) so definitely follow the speed limit signs.

This was a good 'chain' hotel but not as personal as some of the lovely Gasthaus and hotels we have enjoyed during the rest of our holiday. Bus stop outside to enable us to explore the lakeside resort and find somewhere to eat. Charming resort.

Everything was great except w had a really hard time locating the hotel. Our GPS could not find it using the address or the name and it was by accident we did find it after almost 2 hours of trying. The bed was the most comfortable bed of our trip. The only negative was the hotel was occupied by a group of very noisy students.

Value for Money with Excellent Room and BF.

We manage this hotel to be midway rest from Switzerland to Romantic Road. We would not be disappointed during your stay. Room is very comfortable but a little far from downtown. Parking is free with plenty of space, but we found it is full in the morning. BF is excellent with both varieties and quality of food and beverage. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic welcome back

I have never been as welcomed back to a Hotel before as I was at the Holiday Inn Express in Friedrichshafen.
The Duty Manager Norbert Ivanyuk greeted us with an unbelievable welcome as if we were long lost friends. He remembered us from our stay the previous year when a friend of ours was taken ill and had to be hospitalised in Friedrichshafen for several months. Norbert said he was so very pleased to see us again. What a wonderful warm welcome. Norbert is such a wonderful guy and if he is on duty during your stay he will go out of his way to help you with anything that should occur.

For our visit to Spieleland (the attraction park from Ravensburg) we stayed at this new hotel and we can fully recommend it. Nothing luxurious but everything works good and it is in a good condition. Nice service and hospitality

Good hotel

The hotel room was clean and spacious. A fold down bed was made up for our 2 year old son to sleep in which was a nice touch.

The staff were friendly and good with our son.

Breakfast was good with a good selection and good coffee.

There aren't any shops or restaurants nearby as it's not close to a town centre. The location is handy for the main road though.

Ideal Hotel for Drivers With No Luggage

The hotel was in good condition and service was fine. Wi-Fi and included buffet breakfast were excellent. The room was a bit odd, with no closet or storage space to speak of. While it is possible to get to the hotel by bus (Bus 5 to Am Allmensweiler Bach), the buses stop running shortly after 7PM, so the hotel is probably most convenient for drivers.

Everything was excellent except the en suite bathroom. The shower was brilliant, one of the best ever encountered in a hotel, but the wash basin was installed at such a height one had to be at least 2 metres tall ( at a guess ) to be able to use it !
Normal sized people and particularly children will find it impossible. The hotel are aware of the their sad design fault and offered ( only when I complained ) a footstool. I doubt this would raise a child to a suitable height.

Bavarian road trip

Hotel is exactly like Holiday Inn in USA. Only difference is USA rooms have microwaves. Spacious, clean, good wifi, tea making facilities in room. comfortable beds and very friendly helpful english speaking staff. Breakfast is ample and good. Only downside is that the hotel is away from the city center near the airport. I cannot see any public transport so you must have your own transport. Also, you will need to drive down to the city center for dinner.

Great hotel but on the outskirts of town. There is nothing around it but plenty of parking if you have a car. It was about a 10 min drive into town. Staff were super helpful and ordered pizza for us at night from a local takeaway. Breakfast was good and lots of choices. I would stay again.

A little out of the way so a car is needed but excellent value for money and very very comfortable. Rooms aren't enormous but big enough and air conditioning is very efficient. Very Good, as expected from Holiday Inn

We've yet to find a poor Holiday Inn, so when I wanted to visit the Zeppelin Museum & Restaurant while on a motorcycling tour around the Alps, this place was first choice. We weren't disappointed.
The hotel was very easy to find. It may be a short distance out of town but on a bike that isn't a problem as I knew it was a short 5 mins ride to the Zeppelin Museum.
It's a large modern hotel with ample parking at the front, a large bar/lounge with free wi-fi all over the place. Our room was spacious and comfortable with various mod-cons, including tea & coffee making facilities, which we love, especially after a decent ride. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choice, hot & cold. The staff were friendly, multi-lingual and helpful. They were able to suggest places to eat in the evening and provided a map of the town. We would recommend this place if driving or riding and wished to visit the Zeppelin & Dornier Museums, and recommend the Zeppelin Restaurant (beside the ferry terminal & in the same building as the museum).

Very close to Messe Friedrichshafen (10 min walk)

The hotel is brand new and was very clean. Facilities were good (PC and printer downstairs for printing) and the bar was also reasonably priced. The breakfast was continental, and had a large selection. There is also an outdoor seating area.

Great location for those visiting the Messe, as we stayed there for Ham Radio 2015.

Clean, efficient.

For one or two nights, this is an excellent hotel: clean, efficient, comfortable, with a good breakfast included. Unfortunately, the staff didn't quite understand my question about taking a ferry to Konstanz, and we ended up wasting a couple of hours, but they were friendly and certainly tried to be helpful. The neighborhood is rather industrial, so don't stay here for the scenery, but it has good access to roads, highways, and the airport.

Ich verbrachte mit meinen Kindern hier zwei Nächte aufgrund eines Verwandtschaftsbesuches.

Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit großem Bad sowie begehbarer Dusche, was für uns perfekt war. Auch die Bushaltestelle vor dem Hotel war gut, um schnell in die Stadt zu gelangen.

Das Personal war sehr nett und alles Bürokratische verlief unkompliziert.

Leider nicht gefallen hat mit das Frühstücksbuffet. Es war recht wenig Auswahl, teilweise lange Wartezeiten nicht nur an der Saftbar und das Obst teilweise unreif, das Kompott bereits überreif und gährig.
