Checking is done via a computer console. Although it worked for us, there is no one to help if you have a problem. There is no one to ask about anything. The WiFi did not work for the evening of our stay. When it did come on, it is an unsecured network. The room is comfortable, but the bathroom did not look clean, probably because of the surface choices they made.

Check in is a mess with a bunch of computers in the lobby. No contact with a single person.
You have to tell people if you want your room cleaned the day before.
The bar closes at 10:30 has very limited supplies and last call is at 10 o’clock even on weekends.
The breakfast room has one, very slow coffee machine and always has a line.
The entire hotel is extremely impersonal and has no staff to take care of it.
You feel like a number that checks in with a computer.

Spacious, quiet room with lots of power sockets. Easy to park underground from behind the hotel once you have a room card to open the barrier. Half hour walk from town and a bit further to the airport in the opposite direction.

The bed is always really comfortable and the room was really tidy. The hotel made some interesting decisions like removing the free water that always came in the room and charging whenever water was asked. Also, don't expect any consierge service or that they bring you anything to you room. They provide you with a comfortable bed and clean room - that's it.

Being a little way out of town the Comfort Hotel is probably more suited to those travelling by car than to one like me touring Europe by train. However there was a bus stop very close to the hotel served by two routes, and I found the bus service adequate. The hotel provided timetables. I found I could in fact walk to the harbour in about 25 minutes. There is a large shopping mall across the road from the hotel (the Bodensee Centre, closed on Sundays). The hotel itself is modern and clean, and the single room I had was comfortable and well soundproofed from the busy roundabout outside the hotel. I apprciated the provision of tea and coffee making facilites that a New Zealander takes for granted at home but which are much less common in Europe. The breakfast was reasonably priced at 13 euros, though I avoided the overcrowded area on the Saturday and Sunday mornings I was there. I had two excellent evening meals in the restaurant (though in one case the wrong meal was served at first which meant a long wait). All in all a hotel to recommend with little reservation.

Nice hotel - partway between town and airport

Very nice hotel for its range, room was small but fine. A pleasant walk into town (~2.5km...or 12 eur taxi), and about the same distance to the Zeppelin experience which suited me. Also supermarkets nearby.

Breakfast was ok, however was so busy on one morning I couldnt get a place. I would suggest not pre-paying for breakfast in case this is also your experience.

I would stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable, modern, and clean. A good breakfast buffet is available.

The hotel is approximately half way between the town center and the Messe. (There is public bus service linking the two, but it is EXTREMELY limited on Sundays.) There is a shopping center across the roundabout.

Easy parking and very pleasant staff, smartly dressed. Very comfortable room with hot drinks in room and comfortable easy chair. Lovely bathroom. We drove to the waterfront for dinner in just a few minutes. The breakfast was very good, although a little busy with a coach trip all eating at the same time. But we managed well.

Room is standard size in Europe, but it is very clean. Staffs are very helpful and assisted us to store our food at their Bar's fridge and reheated it again the next morning. Parking is quite full, so be prepare or seek for alternative.

Clean rooms, not so good service

This is a newish Hotel, so it is still in good order and rooms are kept clean. Rooms are basic and functional , but fine. The big downfall is the Breakfast/Resturant area. Its all in the same place along with the hotel reception, and the hotel seem to book Coach parties of OAP's constantly, and they get priority over all other guests in the Hotel. Leaving it impossible to get a seat for Breakfast, and +2 hour waits for an evening meal as they serve them before anyone else in the hotel. The breakfast area is far to small also, you have to stand in line, or shuffle past people and let people past etc... The designers of this Hotel made a major error with this layout, it could really do with being extended or on another floor. Ive stayed there for buisness lots of times as its close to the client, but ive had to cancel Breakfast/Dinner as i couldnt get a seat!. The staff at reception are very pleasant, but bar staff male and older female can be quite rude, this lets the hotel down an awful lot.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We were overnighting as we had been to the Zeppelin museum during the day and were travelling on the next morning. The hotel is very new and so in good condition. It is a little out of town and so we eat in the restaurant, but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our evening meal and our breakfast the next morning. Rooms are well equipped and comfy.

Very new hotel, opened Nov 2013, Spacious rooms, nice decor, 2 km from lakeside which cost a 9 Euro' taxi ride. Breakfast a little simple compared to some of the hotels in the area which I have stayed in but nevertheless adequate. Plenty of free car parking either underground or fronting the hotel. Pleaseant multi-lingual reception staff.

I had a great stay at the Comfort Hotel in Friedrichshafen. The hotel is less than a year old and as such is decorated to a high standard both in the guest rooms and public areas. It’s located a little distance from the center (30mins walk) but conveniently located on No 5 bus route cutting the journey to less than 10. Additionally its opposite an XXXL store/mall that has everything you need including an impressive range of restaurants, but if that is still too far you can relax in the well-appointed hotel bar.

The rooms and service are great. Polite, efficient service, and very clean modern rooms that look immaculate. The exterior of the hotel is underwhelming compared to the PR pictures and the surrounding neighborhood, with the exception of a mall, is quite residential and lacking dining options. It's a significant walk to the lake and most tourist sites, but close to the airport for those who have business with the companies on the outskirts of Friedrichshafen. Great for business, look closer to the lake if you're seeking tourist accomodations.

A very nice hotel, very friendly staff. Clean room, internet and in-room coffee maker. However, the sink in the bathroom seemed very in efficient, being the shape and size it was, as well as the soap dispenser, dripping onto the counter. The size of the room was rather tight for two people. The second morning we had breakfast in the hotel, which was very, very good. Lots of choices. Unlimited coffee, as well as hot breakfast items.The hotel seemed very clean, however, the carpet in the hallway to our room was soiled and seemed dirty. Very surprising, since everything else was so clean.

Ab nächstem Jahr wieder ein anderes Hotel, dessen Geschäftsführer auch auf die Gäste schauen und nicht nur auf den eigenen Profit.
- Bar hat nur bis 22:30 auf; zu einer Messe mit vollem Hotel ein Unding. Schade, dass die Geschäftsleitung dies anders sieht
- Wenn die Bar schon um 22:30 zu machen muss, dann würde es doch wenigstens Sinn machen den Automaten mit Snacks und Getränken nicht in den Bereich zu stellen, der dann auch um 22:30 geschlossen ist, sondern in einen Bereich, in dem die Gäste auch nach 22:30 noch Zugang haben
- Dass Bier nur aus Flaschen ausgeschenkt wurde, lassen wir mal so stehen; ein Hotel, welches die Bar nur zum Anschauen hat und nicht zum Ausschenken, ist das nur konsequent
- Einchecken sehr unpersönlich und man muss alles selbst machen (auch die Zimmerschlüssel programmieren); mit \"menschlich\" hat das nichts mehr zu tun, auch wenn man es auf die Bildschirme schreibt
- Obwohl beim Einchecken bei der Dame im Hinterzimmer mitbestellt wurde am zweiten Tag das Zimmer nicht gereinigt, nur die Handtücher ausgewechselt; das Klopapier mussten wir selbst bei der Rezeption abholen
- Die Klimaanlage scheint nicht richtig zu funktionieren: es kommt ein bisschen kalt, aber die Luft bleibt feucht und die Klamotten, die zum Trocknen aufhängen, bleiben klamm (war letztes Jahr leider auch schon so)
- Beim Checkout bekommt man keine Rechnung; diese wurde erst später auf Nachfrage zugesandt
- Vor dem Zimmer steht ein Kühlcontainer der Küche, der die ganze Nacht läuft

Es sind 4 Ladestationen im Hotel vorhanden. Leider waren diese über Nacht jedes Mal durch parkende Fahrzeuge, die nicht geladen haben blockiert. Das Personal hatte an dem Problem leider kein Interesse.

Zimmerservice war nicht immer, Fernbedienung ging nicht, Fön ziemlich eklig, am Bett bröselt das Kunstleder ab, Schokoflecken im Teppich.

Frühstück ist reichlich und ok, Bar wenn offen ist sehr gemütlich, Parkplätze direkt am Haus und Tiefgarage, Lage ist super für Messe oder Stadt, Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet

Gute Unterkunft wenn man keine besonderen Ansprüche hat und einfach übernachten möchte. Leider ist das Konzept mit 22uhr die Leute von der Bar bis 22:30 zu verjagen da der Bereich abgesperrt wird nicht sehr positiv bei uns angekommen. Sowas habe wir in dieser Form noch nicht erlebt. Das sollte die Hotelleitung überdenken..

Gutes Hotel mit einem guten Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer sind etwas klein, also eher für kürzere Trips geeignet. Jedoch aufgeräumt, sauber und in guter Lage zum Bodenseecenter. Man ist ebenfalls schnell an der Friedrichshafener Uferpromenade mit dem Auto bzw. In ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß oder dem Rad.

Es war insgesamt eher keine gute Wahl gewesen. Die bauliche Substanz ist okay. Die Inneneinrichtung ist in Ordnung. Die beiden Damen an der Rezeption waren insgesamt freundlich, jedoch eher unprofessionell. Schön die Kleidung war salopp. Am Abend waren die beiden Damen der Rezeption dann auch für die Bar zuständig. Es waren nur sehr geringe Kenntnisse zu den Getränken da. So sollte mir ein Weinbrand als Whiskey verkauft werden ... es waren insgesamt nur ca. 20 Flaschen unterschiedlicher Getränke da (also lag es nicht an der riesigen Auswahl, Aperol und Martini, ... waren unter den zwanzig Flaschen). Es waren dann auch - hier muss es sich um weitere Mitarbeitende gehandelt haben - andere Personen hinter dem Tresen und haben sich mit Getränken versorgt und an einem Tisch zusammengesessen ... Im Zimmer habe ich dann die Rechnung - ich habe das Zimmer gleich bezahlt- auf den Schreibtisch gelegt und sie klebte fest. Auf dem Aufsteller waren Informationen des Gastes, der vorher das Zimmer gemietet hat, aufgeschrieben, auch am eigentlich weißen Vorhang waren viele Flecken. Also ich das den freundlichen Damen an der Rezeption gesagt habe, hatten diese gemeint, dass die Zimmer von einem outgesourcten Unternehmen gereinigt werden und sie nichts tun können ... Das Frühstück war insgesamt okay, kleine Auswahl, sauber, Businesshotel in einfacher Form ...

Am naechsten Tag klopfte ein ueberaus unwirscher Mitarbeiter um 12.20 an meine Tuer um mich zum Verlassen des Zimmers aufzufordern. Auf meine Aussage, dass ich ein late Check-out vereinbart hatte ging er gar nicht ein. Zudem belastete er meiner Kreditkarte den vollen Betrag fuer eine Uebernachtung obwohl ich bereits vorgaengig via Expedia bezahlt hatte. Als Stammgast war ich aeussert verwundert ueber eine solche ungewohnte Behandlung.

Gutes Mittelklassehotel in guter Lage

Ein typisches Business Hotel für wenige Nächte. Zimmer ausreichend groß, Betten bequem, Frühstück ordentlich.
Bar ist vorhanden und man kann neuerdings auch dort essen.
Wir waren schon häufiger dort, als es noch Comfort Hotel hieß.
Schränke für Kleidung gibt es keine. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zu empfehlen.

Durchschnittliches Hotel mit Abstrichen

Das Hotel an sich ist in einem guten Zustand, das Frühstücksangebot entspricht dem deutschen Standard. Parken für 9,95 €/Tag ist in der großen Tiefgarage gut möglich. Zimmerreinigung gibt es nur auf konkrete Anfrage. Das hat bei uns überhaupt nicht funktionert. Wir mussten mehrfach nachfragen, weil die externe Reinigungsfirma offensichtlich nicht informiert wurde.

Modern Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bodesee Centers - sehr freundliches Personal, perfekte Schalldämmung, effiziente und leise Klimaanlage.
