Definitivamente fue muy desilusionante, después de ser un gran hotel , se ha venido para abajo en apariencia se ve bien pero una vez entrando a los cuartos es una experiencia que no le deseo a nadie en sus vacaciones, las camas, las sábanas, las cobijas sucias, no tienen aspiradora para recoger el polvo de las alfombras y lo hacen con escoba así que todo el polvo se sube a las camas al tocador a nuestras maletas, la tina de baño y los lavaderos están tapados, así que cuando te lavas lo dientes el agua se queda ahí por mucho tiempo al igual la tina de baño, el mal olor de los cuartos se quedaron en mi mente y aún no he podido superar ese olor. Se me pidió dinero extra para darme un mejor cuarto y no fue así , al entrar uno de esos cuartos olía a orines y al bajar a preguntar el por qué el nuevo cuarto que pague dinero extra olía tan horrible, me dijeron que supuestamente tienen un gato y se orina en las camas, tuve que salir a comprar productos para que el olor del cuarto no fuera tan horrible y pudiera dormir … una experiencia que no recomiendan a nadie.

The room i was given had no AC & no Cieling fan. I returned to the front desk asking for a room with AC since the hotel lists AC, but I was informed none of their rooms have AC, but was offered a fan. I booked this hotel due to a Marta Sanchez concert in Puebla and it was the closest hotel to the venue. I asked for toothpaste and a razor and was charged for both. It was cheap so no biggie, however I would not stay here again.

Hotel Lastra is on the Los Fuertes hill (\"the forts\"), where the battle of Cinco de Mayo was fought. In addition to the ruins and other historical attractions, the hill now has coffee shops, stores, events, a paddle-boat lake, a new elevated tram, a walking exploration of Puebla's history, a bike path, and beautiful views of the surrounding city.
The hotel has been mostly renovated, and now contains a nice outdoor pool, gardens, heated outdoor sitting areas, a restaurant, and a bar.
Walking down the hill rather than up it, it is a 5 minute walk to the San Francisco mall. In addition to great restaurants (such as La Purificadora) and stores, this mall is also historical, featuring restored colonial-era Spanish ruins, some of which are presented under glass flooring as you walk the mall area.

Me gustaría dar mejor calificación, pero hubo varias cosas que no me agradaron. Llamé en 2 ocasiones para confirmar suite ejecutiva con cama King Size y no se que tipo de habitación me dieron con 2 camas matrimoniales, las cuales rechinaban.
En la madrugada, mucha gente hablando en los pasillos, no sé si llegó algún equipo deportivo o qué pero hablaban casi a los gritos y si al personal del hotel no le importó ir a decirles que tuvieran respeto por los que estábamos descansando, mucho menos a esa gente le importaría guardar silencio.

En general buen hotel, tiene sus temas como que la alberca está súper fría, se agradecería un poco más atención a esta zona; el buffet está bueno (excelente vista del restaurante); recepción da mucho que desear, no todas, pero si hay personal déspota, fuera de recepción el demás personal súper atento y amable. Aún así regresaría la zona es muy tranquila, el hotel muy tranquilo, muy cómoda la habitación.

El hotel está ubicado en una zona tranquila y segura, asistimos a un evento en el Centro Expositor y fue excelente opción ya que nos pudimos desplazar caminando. Las instalaciones del hotel están bien sin embargo le falta un poco de mantenimiento. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero cómodas y cuentan con lo necesario, una plancha hubiera sido de gran ayuda. No cuenta con caja de seguridad. Estuvimos en la habitación 406 y durante la estancia reportamos la TV ya que estaba desprogramada pero una persona acudió a arreglarla. Nos costó un poco de trabajo usar la regadera ya que el automático para cambiar de la tina a la regadera no funcionaba correctamente. La cortina de la habitación estaba rota. Me gustó que tenía buena ventilación e iluminación natural. El personal es amable, sobre todo las chicas del restaurante y el personal de limpieza. Las chicas de Recepción no todas son amables, sobre todo la chica del turno matutino, no recibí un saludo o una sonrisa de su parte, y cuando le preguntábamos algo recibíamos una respuesta negativa, con malas caras y cero ayuda, lástima, ya que la Recepción es el primer contacto con el cliente. Tomamos el desayuno en el restaurante y aunque es muy básico es sustancioso, por ser huésped tienes una tarifa especial de $125.00 pesos por persona. Si te gusta caminar puedes desplazarte del hotel hacia el centro en corto tiempo y disfrutar de la ciudad.

En general las personas que atienden son muy amables, los de recepción de todos los turnos son especialmente agradables. Sólo tuve una mala impresión de la gerente de ventas. Esto fue porque me tocó verla gritarle a una señorita menor de edad que esperaba en uno de los sofá del lobby. Esto porque no estaba precisamente sentada, pero después con los demás chicos del grupo que se hospedaron, todos compañeros de la chica, algunos se sentaban en las coderas, etc, no ví que les hiciera ningún comentario. Lo feo de la situación fue el grito desde la mitad de la estancia. Nos sobresaltó muchísimo.

En cuanto a las instalaciones, es notorio que reciben turismo nacional, lo cual no es malo, el servicio es bueno, en recepción los chicos de los diferentes turnos son muy agradables y serviciales. Sólo una observación para la Lic. Rosy, gerente de ventas: Cuando tenga una sugerencia u deba hacer una observación especialmente un menor de edad, no lo haga gritando desde la mitad del lobby, mejor acérquese y diríjase al tutor, porque fue muy desagradable escucharla gritar desde lejos. (estábamos cansadísimos del viaje esperando hacer check in y me sobresaltó mucho el grito)
